Se solen gå upp direkt från din säng! Klapp i hängmattorna! Byggt med tre nivåer av bostadsyta, den översta nivån värd en 180 graders utsikt över en vacker 90 tunnland Salt Pond. Två av 5 sovrum plus två vardagsrum har golv-till-tak-fönster med utsikt österut över dammet, vilket ofta vrider av vilda liv inklusive hägrar, fiskgjordar, krabbor, gäss, ankor, flyttfåglar. Dammet är perfekt för kajakpaddling, paddling ombord, vindsurfing och simning från vår privata brygga.

Vårt hem har fem sovrum (sover 12 personer bekvämt) över 3 våningar, ett badrum på varje våning (ett med badstorlek badtunna), två vardagsrum, fullt modernt kök, tvättmaskin, torktumlare, 3 öppna däck, ett slutet veranda, lekrum för barn med en populär dockteater, 3 TV-apparater, DVD / BluRay och video, DirectTV, internet, utomhusdusch. Smakfullt inredda - och inte din vanliga stranduthyrningsdekor! Perfekt för en familj med flera generationer med barn eller för två eller flera familjer att dela.

Den vackra havsstranden ligger i enkel cykel- eller köravstånd, men för långt att gå med strandredskap för de flesta. Det är ungefär 1 mil när kråken flyger och 5 minuter med bil till norra änden av Bethany Beach board-promenad. Vi har en 2-personskayak, en 1-personskayak, två paddelbrädor och en kanot: ingen extra avgift krävs dock speciell undantag för familjer som vill använda kajaker / kanot / paddelbrädor. Dagliga cyklar och krabba krukor är också tillgängliga för hyresgäster gratis.
För en liten tilläggsavgift som betalas direkt till Salt Pond Association kan hyresgäster använda Salt Pond Community Center-anläggningar, som är lätt gångavstånd (10-15 minuters promenad) med en golfbana, pool, tennisbanor, pickle ball court , volleybollplan, halv basketplan, tränings / gym.

Min 2 nätter uthyrning under lågsäsong.
Somrar: Sommaruthyrning från Memorial Day till Labor Day är veckolånga hyror (lör-lör). Vårt unika familjesemester hyrs ofta av upprepade hyresgäster varje år, men ibland blir en vecka tillgänglig.
Ingen rökning, inga husdjur, ingen hög fest. Ingen hög musik utanför. Inga strandveckor, inga tonårsgrupper, inga grupper av unga vuxna i 20-talet såvida de inte är kända för ägaren. Detta är ett familjhem och vi värdesätter det.

Second time

Beach Family Vacation 2024

Our first family vacation in 13 years. Our kids all grow now with spouses and baby with another on the way…12 of us. This house accommodated all our needs. We spent the majority of our time at the beach. We knew in the reviews to bring linens (or rent them). The kitchen is well stocked. Very convenient having a grocery store nearby. Communication with Stephanie was easy with quick responses to all my questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place

This is the second time we returned to the same place and we all loved it. Amazing surroundings and biking distance to the Bethany beach broadwalk. Host is very responsive and was helpful at each step providing the best support to make out stay very comfortable. Highly recommend to friends/ family due to large space.

Great House for enjoying Salt Pond

Communication with the owner was excellent, she took the time to answer all our questions. We were most interested in exploring the pond in our kayaks. We brought our own plus used the house’s kayaks, which were in good working order. The dock was well kept and easy to load an unload from. Enough dishes for all of us (7). The updated kitchen was a big plus.

wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous time in this gorgeous home on the beautiful Salt Pond. Definitely bring your binoculars because there are so many beautiful and interesting birds to view from the THREE decks. Being able to take the kayaks and canoe out from the dock was a real treat, and the playroom was a hit with the younger kids in our group. And the large and comfortable hammocks were everyone's favorite. Having access to the indoor pool and spa at the Salt Pond clubhouse was also terrific for us during the off season when it was too cold for swimming at the beach. I definitely want to return!

Enchanting home

This home sits on a beautiful lot overlooking the pond. The landscaping is amazing and sitting on the deck is wonderfully peaceful with the sounds of the water and abundant wildlife. The house has many common areas for anyone to get away and have some solitude or for smaller groups to gather without disturbing others. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of storage. It gets a little crowded when you have multiple people who want to be involved in the cooking, but otherwise completely functional. We would certainly consider staying again.

Perfect For Family Gatherings

We loved our visit to Bethany Beach and staying in the Salt Pond Community. We were near family in the same community which worked out perfectly. The home is beautiful, spacious and family-friendly. With three floors, multiple decks, and the garden and dock, there was plenty of space for multiple family members to enjoy the experience of staying in a home on the canal. The views from the decks and the dock are stunning. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and dishware which accommodated family meals. We were able to cook a full pasta dinner for extended family and utilize the kitchen tools to meet our needs. The dining area was perfect for a 90th birthday celebration and looked great with decorations! We enjoyed the use of the kayak on the canal multiple days. This home is 5-10 minutes away from a grocery store and downtown Bethany Beach. The owners were quick to communicate with us before and during our stay and were very flexible and accommodating. We have already recommended this VRBO home to other family members and hope to come back for a future visit.

Great outdoor features!

This house fit our needs very well. Two families - 5 kids. Not everyone in our group loves the beach so there were days when some of us stayed at the house. Access to the Salt Pond is one of the best features of this property. Kids and dads did lots of fishing, crabbing, kayaking & canoeing. We biked most evenings around the neighborhood - a flat 1.8 mile loop. The guys golfed and played ping pong. There was no hot tub as listed unless I missed it. Getting to Bethany beach takes about 10 minutes. We also went to the inlet, Fenwick, Ocean City and Rehobeth. The interior is a bit dated. Kitchen could use a good cleaning and it would have been nice to have more space available for our dry foods in the pantry. The TVs are older and channel selection was not up to everyone's standards (no HGTV or Foodnetwork!). There are 3 bathrooms in the house - one per floor. Not a true master bedroom with attached bath though. And the adults staying on the 2nd floor had to share a bath with all 5 kids. Most comfortable part of the house were the decks and porch. That said, I would stay here again purely for the pleasure of the view and outdoor features. Owner was very easy to communicate with as well.

Excellent place off season

The weather was beautiful and the place was great. No crowds at the beach. Suggestion, have a pair or 2 of binoculars to bird watch from the decks. We did run out of propane for the grill and the spare was empty also

Relaxing Pond House

This house is in an amazing location, right on the pond, with beautiful views. We loved sitting on the decks and relaxing at the end of the day. There are lovely gardens around the house where you can enjoy the cool breezes. We appreciated having access to the kayaks and paddleboards to use on the pond as well. The house is spacious and homey. There are a lot of books and games available and you can tell it is a well-loved family home. There were a couple of minor things that could be improved like having hairdryers available and connecting the 2nd floor TV to the Direct TV. The benches on the dock need to be replaced as the slats are falling out. However we would definitely stay here again.

Property review

Grounds and views were beautiful . House was well stocked but refrigerator needs updating . It’s a real hassle not having an ice maker. The house was clean except the kitchen.. refrigerator was dirty, oven had dirty pans in it . Overall the property is beautiful and the neighborhood is really nice. The owner was responsive and very easy to work with. I would definitely rent there again.

A very unique home with many pleasing features -- lots of room, a great toy room, comfy beds, games, beautiful views of the Pond. Note that you will need to bring a lot of stuff to round out your stay, including linens, dish towels, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner.

Great location and amenities

This house is great and in an awesome location. Between the neighborhood amenities and the lake, there’s a ton to do. It’s also conveniently located and an easy drive to anywhere nearby.

Just Loved the Location

If you want to spend a quality time with family/friends away from hustle bustle,this is a perfect location. Stephanie was very helpful!!The house has plethora of fun options for kids..We loved the kayaking in the Lake. Highly recommended!!
