Lake Hartwell !!!! Ta med din båt och njut av ett nyrenoverat sjöhus med en fantastisk sjöutsikt från stugan, veranda eller stort däck. Njut av en privat brygga med vatten och el tillgängligt vid vattenkanten. Den asfalterade vägen från stugan till sjössidan är platt med ljus för dag och natt fiske. Tyst och fredlig men ändå bara 4 miles till livsmedelsbutiker och restauranger. Detta är en äldre hem som startade livet som släpvagn, hade tillägg lagt till och renoverades maj 2016 som inbjuder dig att vara avslappnad och bekväm. Njut av sjön och överdimensionerade däck med bord, stolar, gunga och grill, stor veranda med stolar, tvättstuga w / tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Queen size säng i master, Full size säng i 2: a sovrum och dag säng från köket. Rulla bort sängen i 2: a sovrummet garderoben. Vardagsrummet har soffa och kärlekssits (dubbel bäddsoffa) samt en bekväm stolar. Köket är fullt utrustat med bärbar diskmaskin, stort matbord (med 6 stolar) och 4 barstolar i räknaren.

Nice house and location

This house is just what i would want for my lake house. Clean and well decorated, nice screened porch and deck with cover boat deck. This time of year it was quiet and relaxing.

Just right

Husband temporarily transferred to Anderson - this allowed me to travel with our dogs and stay with him - we enjoyed our time in the evenings - on our PWC or swimming in the lake - This home maybe no the newest or fanciest but it was just what we needed and it was very clean - you could tell the host cared.

Such a pleasant stay

Our time at escaping reality was so relaxing and peaceful. Watching the deer pass through the yard during a beautiful sunrise so enjoyable. Had everything we needed. Nice yard for the dogs too.

Lakeside Getaway

We were looking for a countryside lake getaway that would accept pets to enjoy some hiking, kayaking and fishing. The property did not disappoint. Nice fenced in front yard for the pet, great back deck with a view through some woods to the lake and private dock available for your use. Check in was easy. The mgmt. was responsive. The only complaint we had was the furniture was not conducive for comfort with persons having back issues. Low sitting, soft sofas. Soft mattresses.

May Lake Hartwell Fishing Trip

Lucky to find a reasonable and clean property that met mine and my brethren's expectations for lodging during our weeklong bass fishing tournament. We have simple needs - place to sleep, eat, and clean up after a long day on the lake. Thank you for having this VRBO listing available to us.

We enjoyed 5 days relaxing on the lake. Our pups really enjoyed playing in the water (too cold for us though) and the fenced yard. It was great to be able to dock our boat. Deer passing through the yard in the evening as we sat by the fire. Definitely an "escape from reality".

Nice quiet getaway

Survived the power outage from Tropical Storm Zeta there! The cottage is very quiet and comfortable. The new master bed is great. Thank you for accepting our booking on short notice.

Had a great time.

Property is very nice, house is clean & comfortable. Dock is very stable & great to tie up the boat. Location is very good. Have seen deer everyday on the property or in the area. Many parks around to go hiking. I’m trying to get dates to come back next summer

Relaxing by the Lake

The views from the deck to the lake and the dock were amazing, with deer walking slowly through the grounds, disturbing fireflies which rose and flashed in the dark. Truly amazing.

Comfortable stay with good lake location

The space worked well for our family to get away for a long weekend. House is as described - interior was clean and comfortable with plenty of linens. Air conditioning window units at the ends in all the sleeping spaces kept everything cool as long as bedroom doors weren't shut tight. Kitchen is well supplied for cooking. Rather than use the loveseat foldout or hideaway cot, we preferred to take the mattress pads out to sleep on the screen porch. Good dock in a protected cove near the big water on Lake Hartwell. The owner responded rapidly to our inquiries.

Great place for boaters

This is a nice place to spend a vacation on Lake Hartwell. Good dock with a boat ramp across the cove. Plenty of room to park the trailer. A paved walkway down to the dock. Five minutes by boat to the main part of the lake. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house had plenty of room for us. The screened in porch and deck are very large.

Great lakefront value

My wife and I spent 2 months while house hunting. We enjoyed our stay. The owner is great. We had 2 minor issues that came up (internet speed and failed clothes dryer) and she took action to immediately correct. Couldn't ask for a better, nicer, more conerned owner!

Bass Masters Classic 2018

We rented this cottage for a long weekend for the Bass Masters Classic 2018 on Lake Hartwell. The inside of the cottage was immaculate and felt homey. Although it did not have new updates it had all the conveniences of home. The negative side we experienced was that as much as the inside was immaculate the outside was not- Trees were fallen over, there is high grass around the property, not a well kept outside appearance. Along with that the outside furniture was not clean and ready to use on our visit; and the dock was not along the bank for us to get on- it was about 3ft out into the water- we would have to wade the water to get on it. This was all very disappointing as this is why we rented this property- to sit on the deck and or the dock to be able to see the Anglers in the tournament if they came to the cove; which we did have several that fished the cove. I am giving the benefit of the doubt that we rented in the middle of transition of seasons and maybe the owners have not done spring clean up for the tenants in the spring and summers seasons. I would recommend this place only if the outside was cleaned up and the dock was accessible.

Needs upkeep

The view was stunning and peaceful. The house was well stocked with all the items needed. The structure itself is in need of repair. The flooring in the kitchen looks wonderful; however, there are soft spots and at least one hole in the subflooring. The bedroom flooring is not level and again there are soft spots in the subflooring. With the right TLC this can be an amazing space.

My family and I live in Atlanta. We loved the quality of the water on Lake Hartwell as well as it's less hectic crowds over our Atlanta area lakes. When we were shopping for water front property we were so happy to find such a great spot less than a 2 hour drive from home for my family to really get away from it all! My dogs both love swimming in the lake as well as going on our boat. The casual cottage and location has made for many great family adventures and our friends love to come hang out as well. For us the cottage is a perfect fit!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The dock always has water due to it's location in a "green zone"... even in a draught we always have water at our dock. The paved path with lights for night time enjoyment and the fact that the path was flat make getting to the dock easy for my parents when they come to visit. I loved that it was close enough for a weekend get away for all my family scattered throughout the south and that it was an hour drive from Greenville-Spartanburg airport and 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta airport.... so location, location, location! My cottage is 10 minutes off of I-85 at exit 14.
