Great place for Ice Fest

Stayed here for the ice fest. Just a short drive to all the activities, so worked as a great base camp for 3 climbers and a ton of gear.

The property was very clean and organized. There were extra pillows and blankets available. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place

We loved staying in unit# 1 and exploring Munising and Marquette! Lots to do here, particularly if you’re an outdoor person. The unit was well stocked and comfortable. Lots of attention to details. We loved watching the fishing boats launch into the lake at sunrise.

Amazing Stay

This apartment was absolutely perfect in every way. Amazing location, clean, equiped and wonderful, accommodating hosts. The full kitchen was perfect for us to be able to make breakfasts and dinners before heading out in daily adventures. This is especially beneficial in the off season when many places close. We loved coming "home" to the apartment at the end of our days. We had such a wonderful time and have no complaints at all. Look forward to returning next year!

Good location for a U.P. vacation. Super Clean.

The apartment was great! Mike and Shelly, the owners, live downstairs and were very nice. Mike talked to us about the different kayaking outfits and his advice was spot on (Pictured Rocks Kayaking is the way to go and it's just a 5 minute walk from the apartment). There is a large private parking area in the back that leads right to the entrance for the two upstairs rental units. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the views of Lake Superior and the cool breeze from the lake, especially in the morning. There is a softball field across the street, but it wasn't an issue - you could hear the game in the early evening but they were out of there by 8pm. The unit is decorated like a lake house; it's quaint and comfortable. The bed is comfortably firm and there are a selection of various pillows to insure a good night's sleep. The bedroom has mini blinds and blackout curtains which is an excellent feature especially while on vacation. (I'll be implementing that feature in our bedroom at home.) The kitchen is well-equipped and the gas grill was brand new when we were there. The entire unit, inside and out, was impeccably clean. The location is convenient to kayak and boat tours, visiting the town of Munising, seeing the many waterfalls in the area, and getting to Pictured Rocks park and the many hiking trails around the Upper Peninsula. If we ever find ourselves traveling to the U.P. again this is where we'll want to stay.

We couldn't have choose a better overall experience then staying in Munising Bay Lake Superior. Everything was awesome. Had everything we needed and place was very clean. Lake view was great to wake up to each morning. If back in the Munising area, I hope this place is open, we will rebook.

This was our second stay at Bayview. We came back for the same things we enjoyed the first time--location, lake view, interesting daytime activity and quiet nights. Used the window a/c more this time than we did two years ago. Really appreciated having that available!

I purchased this property as a retirement home and an income property with 2 apartments upstairs. The 2 apartments were 1 year leases all this time, however, I have always wanted to turn them into vacation rentals. Due to life circumstances, it has taken longer than I had expected! I renovated them 1 year ago and opened for the 2015 summer season. I have so enjoyed the process and love meeting all my guests. I am a proud lifelong resident of Munising and love showing off my community and the surrounding area to all.

On June 11th and 12th is Yooper ride free Day and Pictured Rocks Day. If your a Yooper come and ride to boats free and see Pictured Rocks National lake shore.
