Chianti Classico, Sienese side and Arceno estate – one thousand hectares of hamlets, woods, centuries-old cypresses and rows of vines and olive groves as far as the eye can see, twenty-eight kilometres of perfectly maintained country lanes, where years ago Ridley Scott and Leonardo Di Caprio stayed for short periods and where entrepreneurs, artists, sportspeople stay today. Many sights can be reached between 30 minutes and 60 minutes. An ideal starting point in absolutely quiet surroundings. Irit made great use of it. We would be pleased to welcome you again.

Thank you very much for choosing our villa again for your 4-week vacation. A very good idea that you took the time to invite friends and share the villa. Unfortunately, we had to find a new person at short notice to receive our guests and it still needs some time to offer everything perfectly.

These lovely guests clearly enjoyed what we offer - Country House living in one of the most beautiful settings in Tuscany. La Cappella, in it's setting, on the highest point of an historic wine estate, compares with anywhere. The central location is ideal for day trips to the "must see" towns and villages; within easy reach of top notch eateries and famous wineries; supplied with a generous welcome hamper of quality foods and treats to forestall the need to go shopping on arrival; is just another thing that we provide to be sure guests get the most out of their time with us, by allowing them to plan visits, tours, restaurant bookings ahead of time. You really have summarised exactly why we bought Villa La Cappella 3 years ago! We offer our guests the opportunity to share our "dolce vita" for a time, and you clearly made the most of it.

It always makes us very happy to read when our guests feel as comfortable as at home and get the most out of their Tuscany trip. Thanks for the feedback. As you wrote, the summer was extremely hot. We have ceiling fans and extra standing fans but no air conditioning. Since 2015 no guests have commented that it was too hot in the villa. It takes 10 minutes to get to the nearest village from the country road. To Siena you drive only 25 minutes and still you are in the nature reserve. All our guests appreciate the quiet and seclusion and yet you can reach all the sights within 30 to 60 minutes. Guests who can not stand the heat, book in spring or autumn.

Obviously it wasa joy to read Carmen's review. Apart from it's generous comment, it also contains an accurate description of the property and the surrounding area, which is most helpful coming from a guest. She is also right, that we try to make our guests feel "at home" in sharing our marvelous good luck at having found this special place. So many of our guests return because La Cappella is centrally located, with easy access to so many famous places (Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi etc), on a wine estate, surrounded by beautiful scenery and ancient historic hilltop villages, where there are amazing restaurants.
