Livvakter, patrullering av säkerhets- / kurstjänst och en hastighetsgräns på 10 MPH gör detta till en riktigt säker semesterplats där du bara kan "låta barnen gå." Wonderful stay

Our stay here took me back to trips I took as a teen. The house is in a perfect location. Our only critique (if you can call it that) is it was definitely a little dusty/dirty when we arrived. Nothing horrific, but noticeable. We wondered if it was because the season was just starting up. Regardless, we would stay again!

We loved so many things about the house, and Mike made things easy by always replying within minutes to any of our questions. Very spacious, very clean and easy access to the beach. Worked very well for our first vacation with all of our adult kids!

Great Family Stay!

We had a great time! Everything we needed was right there and Mike was very responsive the entire trip. This is the perfect location. It was just a short walk to the beach and the kids loved to be able to sit on the deck and look at the stars. We will return!

Beach vacay

Stay was great. Kitchen needed some bigger frying pans and pots. Bigger mugs for coffee and bowls. Easy quick walk to beach entrance. We could see the beach from our balcony. Shower head in master bath was pretty crappy.

Great Location

We booked this house for our family vacation and it was great! The location is great and just a couple minute walk to the beach. The house was clean and the space was great. The communication with the owner was great as well. He was defiantly a call or text away and answered when we needed him. You can slightly see the ocean on the porch and for a morning coffee it's great! Enough room for us to park three cars and two golf carts on the side. I would defiantly stay here again for another beach vacation with the family! Thank you for opening your home up to us!

My family and I had the best vacation ever. MIke was very accommodating and the house is perfect. There were 9 of us and we never felt crowded, very spacious with lots of room. The house has everything you need down to books, iron and ironing board. It was closer to the beach than originally thought.....perfect location. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. My family and I are looking forward to staying at Mike's place again soon. We loved it so much we even talked about possibly a winter vacation!!

Perfect!

I’ve been coming to Ocean Lakes for 38 years now. Stayed majority of the years when our Family had a beach house, and have been renting the last 8 years. First and foremost, Mike was very responsive. Constant communication throughput the week checking in to see how things are. Place was extremely clean and well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect with a short walk to the beach as it’s about 8 houses back. This was one of the best rental experiences we’ve had in Myrtle Beach. We will definitely rent again through Mike Baker!

I would recommend this rental to anyone!

We have stayed in OL for years! This was the cleanest home with the best communication we have ever had! We travel with my sister so we always have to rent a larger home. To give an example of the cleanliness we NEVER use the linens and ALWAYS put sheets over the furniture. We didn’t use our linens we brought nor did we feel like we needed to place sheets on the furniture. The owner was awesome with communicating and quick to answer when I had a question. We will stay here again soon!

Wonderful host and great location!

We were really close to the beach which made everything convenient. The house was very clean with plenty of room to spread out. We never even used the 4th bedroom. The host was very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We appreciated the little welcome pail that was left out for us with snacks and waters and the towels that were nicely folded like a fancy hotel would do on all of the beds. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoyed the slow luxury of a charcoal grill. The home is beautiful with lots of oceanic touches and a nice palate of sea decorations. We will definitely be staying here again. No complaints whatsoever.

Wonderful Beach Home with Everything you need to just Kick Back and Relax

We just got back from a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. I have rented homes for vacation purposes from VRBO many times before (approx. 15 to 20 times) and I must say Mike has been by far the best communicator and has shown the most concern of any other home owner I have ever dealt with. He contacted me via email when we arrived to make sure the home was as expected and at the end to make sure our stay went well. We had everything we needed and more. The home is beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable. We have been taking extended family beach trips at Ocean Lakes for many years now and everyone in the family agreed this home has been the best we have ever stayed in. The layout is great, the home was very clean, and we had plenty of room for our family of 9 and still had a bedroom to spare. This home is very close to the beach and the pool which is where we spent most of our time. We can not wait to return and hope to stay at this home again during our next beach trip. Family Vacay

We had the best time at this property. There were tons of things to do on location to keep the small ones and the big ones happy. Mike was in constant communication and made sure all was well. He was concerned about a leak the previous tenant had told him about and sent a plumber, but we never had any issues with water leaking anywhere. The AC kept the house extremely cool. The kitchen was well-equipped with anything you might need to cook with. He has put a lot of effort in to the house to ensure his guests are comfortable and that is obvious, my suggestion to any one who rents is to treat the house like you would want someone to treat your house if you were opening your home up to strangers. It took maybe 2 mins. To get to the beach entrance and when it rained there was plenty of shopping nearby to keep me happy! We will rent from him again in the future. Thank you!

The whole experience was good minus the fact that they were building a house next door. If it wasnt for that fact the experience would have been excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

My family and I have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for years and we've always contemplated where we wanted to own property where our kids could create memories. After extensive research and hearing about Ocean Lakes from several friends and family we decided to take a visit to see if all we were hearing was true.
We fell in love with Ocean Lakes and the kids did not want to leave because they were having such a great time and meeting new friends. There is so much to do and you really don't need to leave the campground for anything. We knew Ocean Lakes was the place that we had been looking for and wanted to own property.
