Our stay was amazing! The house was cozy which made for the perfect getaway for my husband and myself. We will definitely be returning.Only recommendation would be to add life jackets for when going onto the lake.

Week away on the pond

Exactly what we needed to recharge. Great location and cabin. Near hiking, good food and drink, and convenient shopping within 20 min, all while being away from the hustle bustle. Look forward to coming back.

We had a great stay. Cabin was as described and comfortable. Location was perfect for us situated between the 2 ski mountains we wanted to hit. The view of the lake was beautiful. We would stay again.

What an amazing spot! Words can't do justice to this magical place. My partner Bill and I had a perfect week here. The cabin was so clean and comfortable and had everything you would need. So many hooks! That may seem like a silly comment, but that isn't always the case and they sure come in handy! The location is great. We did a few wonderful hikes. The roads around the pond are also very nice for walking. The cabin is so close to the water with a nice sandy gradual walk in for swimming. We took advantage of the provided canoe for a couple peaceful paddles around the pond.The mountain view and sunsets are stunning. I am running out of adjectives! Checking into the cabin was seamless with the provided code for door. Communication with the host couldn't have been any better... super quick responses. Thank you Tracey and Paul for sharing this gem!

Fabulous Property

I booked this property for my son/wife/grandchildren as a Christmas present. I actually went to this property and LOVED it! It was spotless, had everything that was needed for the week. I would rent again here.

Lake paradise

This is a beautiful clean lake in the mountains. The cabin is 20 steps to the lake.and the views of sunsets are outstanding. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. A sweet, quiet, friendly lake experience.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. It is secluded but not too far from anything you may desire. We cooked a few meals in and went out to local restaurants too. Owners were great and very responsive.

Great rental house

We had a great time at this home on Howard Pond! The house looks like the pictures online and it is set up great for a rental (lots of storage, hooks to hang things, pots/pans in good condition). Our family loved spending time on the pond. The owners were able to arrange two additional kayaks for an extra fee, which was easy and convenient. You could spend all your time here or find adventures nearby (hiking, horseback riding, mini-golf, etc.)

Pretty property location

Although the location is lovely, the second bedroom twin beds are thin, worn, and need replacing. This put a damper on my time at this location as preapproved family was not able to stay. On a positive note, the property location is very pretty. The Maine Gem Museum in Bethel is very much worth a visit.

I would love to make "Our Cabin" my cabin and you will too

I am having a hard time finding the right words to describe my stay at "Our Cabin" without sounding cliche. Amazing? Gorgeous? Perfect? All fit this cabin. Top ten reasons to pick this spot, not in any order: It is spotless. It has everything you need. Everything is in perfect working order. The pond is awesome. The sunsets are gorgeous. Fires in the pit at night are mesmerizing. People all around the pond are friendly. There is lots to do in the area, Sunday River included. The price is right. Tracey and Paul are considerate and generous hosts. I will most definitely come back and stay longer.

Cozy cabin, gorgeous location, super responsive owners

We’ve been to a lot of rentals over the years, and this is definitely one of the best. It’s the perfect size for a family of four and the location is fantastic! The house had the amenities we needed, was very clean, and was super cozy. We went in the winter: superb winter sports options nearby and even some right out your door. We had an issue on the first day that the owners went above and beyond to resolve in a timely manner. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect, Relaxing Week!

Everything exceeded expectations! The views of the mountains across the lake and Fall foliage were breathtaking. The cabin was immaculate, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a campfire by the water every evening, toasting marshmallows, making s’more and taking in the beautiful sunsets. Our hosts, Tracey and Paul, were great! They made sure we had everything we needed and also made suggestions for local places to visit. We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you, Rick and Karen
