Lakewood Lodge med Cayuga Lake Vistas

Om lugn och ro är kraven på din semester, levererar Lakewood Lodge båda. Lodge är en förstklassig kvalitet post beam byggt Cedar Lindel hem. Det ligger inbäddat i en mogen lövskog på Cayuga Wine Trail.

Hemmet har 3 sovrum och två badrum och ligger på västra sidan av Cayuga Lake, minuter från Seneca Falls (13 miles) och Ithaca (25 miles). Det är nära till vingårdar på både Cayuga och Seneca Lake. Byggt 1993, har det alla moderna bekvämligheter som behövs för en trevlig vistelse.

Lodgen är baserad på en mycket rymlig öppen planlösning med skyhöga takhöjden, gott om naturligt ljus och helt möblerad. Sovrummet har 3 sovrum med queen size-sängar, ett loft med två enkelsängar och 2 sovande soffor som kan användas om ytterligare sovplatser behövs. Det finns två badrum och 2 fullt utrustade kök (1 innehåller diskmaskin). För att äta boende finns ett stort matbord för 10, ett mindre matbord för 6 och ett annat bord för 4. Två rymliga vardagsrum utrustade med bekväma soffor tillsammans med 55 och 42 tums smarta tv-apparater.

En sjö skarndäck har en bekväm smidesjärn bord och stolar med en grill. Dessutom finns det en skärmad i veranda med en soffa för de romantiska stunder.

En gungställning och basketkorgen kommer att ge timmar av njutning om ungdomar i sällskapet.

En kort och trevlig promenad bort ligger Whitlock / VanRiper naturreservat förvaltas av Finger Lakes Land Trust. Detta bevara består av 81 tunnland, väl underhållna vandringsleder och en riktig raritet på 1.900 fot av outvecklade strandlinje. Overall good stay!

Overall, we had a good stay! There is literally everything you need at the home (kitchen items, towels, games, etc.). I will just say that the bedrooms get pretty hot at night with the AC being units, but we also know it’s July and hot! Otherwise - location is perfect to many, many wineries and cider houses.

Getting together with family

Our family is scattered geographically, and this place was near Trumansburg where my daughter is moving into a new place. It was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioner was in great working order, thank goodness! Thank you!

This place was amazing. The check in process was very easy and smooth. The host ( Melissa) was very prompt in responding to any questions I had. We were there this past weekend and had my wife's family come in from out of town. They loved the place as well. The house had everything you need and more. There was plenty of space, kitchen (2 of them) provided all cookware needed and plenty of storage space for food, and games galore. We were there when it was 90 degrees and the air conditioning in the house was perfect! The location is great if you want to venture out to the many local wineries, breweries, or distilleries. The view of the lake was incredible also. I highly recommend this place and the host as well. We made some great family memories that we will cherish.

Loved our stay at Lakewood in Romulus, NY. Great space - roomy, comfortable and well appointed (great kitchen with everything you would need!) Lake view from the deck in the rear and serene, quiet surroundings. Great location for wine tasting on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Also convenient for Seneca Falls, Tugahannock Falls, Ithaca, etc. Will stay again next time!

Fantastic house close to lake and wineries

We had an amazing stay at this house. It is exactly as the pictures depict - spacious, beautiful view of lake and close to the trails to beach, wonderful wineries, breweries. The nine of us (all adults including 3 elderly grandparents) had plenty of space and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. Melissa was a fantastic host. She was very responsive to all questions and flexible about last minute requests. We would absolutely visit again.

College friends annual trip

A perfect house for 4 of us. Nice view of the lake, the enclosed porch was great for raining days. The host is very responsive and helpful. The basement has a nice kitchenette and two bedroom and a sitting area, perfect for our friend and her son. The house has a very week stocked kitchen.

The house was in a great location. It was listed as a 4 bedroom, but it actually was a 3 bedroom with a loft. A clean, large common area. A cleaning fee was in the rental price, but the owner left a list of things to clean before we checked out. We always leave a house clean. I did not follow the list.

Finger Lakes Wedding

The property and house was as avertised. And if fit our needs totally. The home was well appointed and offered many simple comforts that are often overlooked like paper towels, toilet paper, and coffee filters. They owners did a great job making this an easy rental, We tried to leave the property in impeccable shape with all floors and surfaces cleaned to a shine. The only recommmendation we have is the 2 skillets provided in the kitchen are far beyond useful shape. They are warped, and have teflon coating removed. Please replace these items as it would benefit the owner and renters.

Great stay with a view

This place was lovely and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay. We especially appreciated everything being stocked and the view. The only thing we were taken back by was that during checkout I realized we were expected to clean and leave the place exactly as we found it in terms of cleanliness even though we're paying a cleaning fee.

Great location!

Great location! Beautiful house, very clean, great communication. The only drawback is before you depart you are required to clean the whole bathrooms and sweep and vacuum the house. I would recommend staying here.

Summer Getaway

We had wonderful time staying at this beautiful location overlooking gorgeous Cayuga Lake. It had a stunning view of the lake, very close to several wineries/breweries and 40 minutes to Frontenac Harbor Marine where we rented a pontoon boat for the day, which was super fun for our adult children and in-laws! Though the property didn’t have lakefront access, it had a nice yard for corn hole and a big deck to enjoy. Plenty of space for 10 adults. Melissa was very helpful in instructing us how to reset the water pump several times and was always responsive. I would definitely recommend this home!

We plan to stay here again; great family getaway!

Lakewood lodge was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and so much fun! We spent a week as a family of four and then had three adult friends join us for a second week, and there was something for everyone: watching movies with airpopper popcorn, cooking on the outdoor grill, wine- and cider-tasting, eating at the porch's umbrella table, watching a storm on the screen porch, stargazing at night, swimming in the lake (we drove to a close spot for swimming), making ice cream passports to try many of the local creameries, enjoying a huge collection of games, hiking gorge trails, browsing farmer's markets... The location is perfect, the "neighborhood" was quiet, and the hosts were responsive and wonderful. We'll stay here again, for sure!
