Studiolägenhet belägen i den nedre nivån av en vacker ny logghem erbjuder privatliv i en lugn miljö. Boenden (alla nya / rena) inkluderar en queen size-säng, dinette, wi-fi, plattskärms-TV (50 ") kök kök med alla nödvändiga apparater, köksartiklar / porslin och 1 badrum med sängkläder och handdukar. Det finns parkering för två fordon och tillgången är genom en täckt privat entré, underhålls 24/7.

Beläget på 3. 3 hektar skog, ligger det nära korsningen av VT Route 9 och VT Route 100, halvvägs mellan Bennington och Brattleboro. Det är bara några minuter från Mount Snow och Haystack Mountain, och 5 minuter från Wilmington centrum för bra restauranger och shopping.

Kom och njut av allt som den pittoreska lilla staden Wilmington har att erbjuda som en fyra säsongsdestination. På våren och sommaren har du tillgång till en mängd vattensporter (båtliv, kajakpaddling, simning, etc.) på våra fantastiska närliggande sjöar, såväl som cykling, golf, vandring eller på historiska platser. Lake Whitingham (Harriman Reservoir) ligger i närheten och många floder pricker landskapet för bra fiske. På hösten ser du fantastiskt lövverk, och på vintern kan du åka skidor / åka skidor, snöbana, snöskor eller längdskidåkning på preparerade spår i den närliggande skidanläggningen.

Staden Wilmington erbjuder bra restauranger, barer, kaféer och butiker för helgen besökare. På sommaren finns det populära loppmarknader och festivaler i hela regionen.

Quiet 1 Bedroom Apartment

Susan was a great host and the place looked brand new and was spotless and beautiful! The apartment was around the back of the main house and was quiet and private. The bed looked out the back window to a sunny and snowy woods that was beautiful to wake up too. The drive to Mount Snow was quick (less then 10 minutes) and easy in the morning. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to get away for a few nights to snowboard. We will certainly book again here with Susan! Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy and comfortable stay for our family

This was a repeat visit for our family. New this year is the addition of a separate bedroom (with a queen bed) with a sleeper sofa in the living room. This was perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen is well equipped, which is important for us as we like to cook at home. We plan on returning soon!

Perfect Location, Lovely Stay

Early Fall Getaway

The apartment is pristine and welcoming. Extremely clean with a well equipped kitchen. There was coffee and tea with all the fixings available, even fresh milk in the fridge. The wide selections of tea was nice to see as us tea drinkers are often overlooked. We came to visit with long time friends who live in Wilmington and had the best time.

Everything was perfect.

Very pleased with this stay. The cabin is of exceptional quality, the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked as well. Owner is very communicative and location is serene. Perfect spot for a couple / small family to enjoy the green mountains! I will likely be back again.

We had a great stay here! The location was perfect as there is hiking, biking and golfing close by. The log cabin and grounds were beautiful. Susan was a gracious host and met all of our needs. The cabin was spotless and well maintained. Ample PPA was provided and social distance rules were followed. Despite the pandemic we were able to fully enjoy our vacation and truly get “away”. I would highly recommend this property.

The Perfect Skiing Getaway

This is an amazing place to escape to. It's newly renovated so everything is spotless and very comfortable. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there is a very handy kitchenette for making meals. Sue definitely made me feel comfortable here and I would definitely stay here again. It's about 15 mins from Mt. Snow and about 35 mins from Stratton.

Comfortable and Cozy!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Great place for couples.It was very quiet and peaceful and very clean. Even though you feel in the woods, actually your not far from town. Only thing lacking were two chairs to enjoy the beautiful scenic yard and night sky. This is defenitely on our prefered list to return again. Anthony and Rita

Hello, I'd like to introduce myself - my name is Susan Luchsinger. I am originally from Connecticut. I am an avid skier and grew up skiing southern Vermont. I moved to Wilmington in June of 2015 via Tokyo for a year, Chicago for six years and lastly 16 years in "bush" (off road system) Alaska where I worked for the Alaska State Troopers (maybe you've seen the show.) I currently dispatch for the Wilmington Police Department. So glad to be back east in my old stomping grounds!

My two dogs, Bill and Clara are my babies. They traveled back east with me from Alaska. They are both rescues (I was actually co-founder of one of the first rescue organizations in "bush" Alaska.) They will alert me of unwanted animals in the yard, so I hope you don't mind a bark or two.

Besides skiing, I love to cook. I may be persuaded into cooking a meal or two if interested, and if my schedule allows - just ask.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I remember back in the day when I found it difficult at times to secure lodging during my weekend skiing trips to Vermont, so thought "why not share some of my space." This rental is approximately 8 mins to Haystack and 13 mins to Mt. Snow, and about a 40 min drive to Stratton. I hope you find it comfortable.
