LaVida stuga välkomnar dig med öppna, privata, gröna utrymmen.

LaVida Cottage erbjuder en pittoresk och lugn miljö två kvarter från Lake Ontario och med utsikt över 18 Mile Creek. I trädgården på 3/4 hektar finns en eldstad, två uteplatser, picknickplatser och gott om ställen att placera ett familjetält.
Gården har utsikt över ett mycket aktivt våtmark med alla möjliga vilda djur.
Den stora utomhusplatsen är värd för examen, bröllop och andra utomhusaktiviteter.
Vi erbjuder gratis parkeringsplatser för gästfordon, små släpvagnar och fiskebåtar.
Stugan byggdes i början av 1950-talet och har varit väl underhållen sedan.
Genom åren har det utvecklat en varmhet och charm alla sina egna. Att gå ner till viken tar världens ljud helt borta och du hör bara naturen ringer.
På en klar natt erbjuder vår stora bakgård majestätisk utsikt över natthimlen och om din tur, kanske en skjutstjärna eller en uggla eller två.

Great place near Niagara Falls

We wanted a quieter place to stay outside of Niagara and this was a great location. Right by Lake Ontario and the quaint little town Olcott. Fun shops and easy to walk dogs. Large park in vicinity was perfect. The cottage yard and fire pit were perfect and private. No complaints. Best trip on record thus far!

We had a very nice stay. The house rules about no shoes or guests were a bit much. but we dealt with it. There also were a few trip hazards a couple of short steps ay the front door and the main bedroom but once we got used to them it was all fine. Also the stones on the front walk were loose so you have to be careful. Other than that, the place was very nice . We would stay here again

Positives: good yard space, close to park and lake, hoist temperature works great, good parking, excellent fire pit, light switches were well documented, good bedroom spaces. Negatives: tiny bathroom, black ants, cell service difficult inside, wifi connectivity with video services not great. I checked WiFi speed and was ok so not sure why it was a challenge.

Yearly Fishing trip to The Burt

The cottage was a perfect place for us to stay. We had 4 people in our group. Plenty of space for us and our gear. Will likely make this a permanent place to stay

Weekend stay

Great place for a quiet getaway with pets. Location close to the park, Lake Ontario waterfront, wineries and breweries. Nice large yard for pets to play. Cottage was very quiet even though it is on a main road.

Making the best family memories

Our family loved our stay at the La Vida cottage. We were so close to Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls and many other wonderful family attractions. The cottage fit our family perfectly. With the large yard, privacy and location we couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect vacation home. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome location for seasonal fishing. The Owner Mike was very acomidating, friendly, and helpfull. Great local experience. The local food is amazing. The cabin was cozy. Honestly can't think of anything to complain about. Hope to stay again next year. Thanks for opening your cabin to us.

Beautiful Location

LaVida Cottage was so wonderful! The cottage itself was cozy and provided everything our family needed. My children loved playing in the huge yard and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The host, Mike, was always available and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay at LaVida Cottage again!

At LaVida Cottage

Owner did a wonderful job making the place clean and welcoming. Nice bonfirepit and large yard. Enjoyed the little time we were in the cottage. One issue: price is advertised as $110 but when you get through check out and pay for a cleaning fee and taxes your final cost is $169.40. Probably not the owner's fault, but total cost should be more upfront.

Cottage With Character

If you want to stay at a cozy cute cottage look no further. This cottage met our needs for a whole week and I wish we could of stayed longer. The yard was a great size to hang out and the park literally across the road was great for two young children. We enjoyed being directly across the road from Bye's Popcorn, now we know why theres a line for popcorn. The cottage had everything from books to games to extra linens and kitchen utensils. We had a few days of bad weather and it was just nice to relax and unwind at Lavida Cottage. Mike was a great host and always responded quickly. He even bumped the heat up to 70 on the nights that were freezing. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in the future!

Great place. Poor management.

No good deed goes unpunished. We communicated to the owner that he had a leak in his basement and upon leaving received a message that we should have told him sooner. He then added on pet cleaning fees for things that had been already cleaned up. Not pet friendly.

Comfortable and convenient

My cousin and I had took families to stay at the cottage, which was the perfect size for us, and it was outfitted with everything to make it a walk-in home for the weekend. The location was great, with enough stuff within a few minutes drive or even just walking distance to keep everyone entertained. Just a few minutes from the beach, boardwalk shops, carousel park, and the popcorn stand (I'm in the wrong business after seeing how many people stopped there) just across the street. There is a DG, produce market, and Topps close by so you can get whatever you need and you don't have to worry about packing a big cooler to take on your trip. The back yard was very big and has plenty of room for kids to play ball or whatever they want. Everyone enjoyed their stay and were all talking about coming back before we even left.

Fire pit fun!

My family (husband, five yr old and 15 yr old dog) and I rented the cabin for a long weekend. This summer with Covid I’m never sure what to pack. Wish I would have known to bring coffee filters, salt, pepper. Things like that. And the noise from the road was surprisingly loud, woke us up while sleeping in the front room a few times. Wasn’t expecting that. But other than that it was the most wonderful, rustic get away for our family. My daughter really enjoyed the tire swing and fires! Thank you so much for all your hospitality. PS You have the most wonderful sheets!

Varför värden valde detta boende

LaVida cottage is located on a major fly away and wetland.
Our 300 foot frontage on this wetland gives a spectacular overview of the activity 50’ below you.
In addition, the 1 acre backyard provides peace and tranquility, as well a great place to catch a starry night.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are located two blocks from Krull Park And it’s a beautiful walks over looks beach and historic building.
World-famous (they literally ship all over the world) Byes Popcorn Stand is located within a few hundred feet of our south driveway. They have been in business for over 79 years.
The town Marina is just over the Rt.18 bridge about five blocks away, with access to Lake Ontario and it’s famous fishery through the town marina or the two private marinas and the Olcott Yacht Club.
Niagara County and the town of Newfane are proud to announce the installation of the Outer Harbor Breakwall, giving boaters a safer and more expanded harbor.
