Inspiration / Selah på KY Lake

Välkommen till Inspiration & Selah, vårt hem och stuga, på vackra Kentucky Lake. Vårt hem är ett öppet område hem övervåningen med full utsikt över tre sidor av huset i Kentucky Lake / Tennessee River. Du kan titta på alla aktiviteter på sjön direkt från vårt matbord, kök eller vardagsrum. Det finns också en 1/2 bad på övervåningen. Du kan öppna upp våra dörrar från vardagsområdet till en gångväg som går runt till vänster om huset till en gångväg som går ner till vår skärmad veranda, däck med pergola och sedan djupvattensbryggan.

Nedervåningen är 3 sovrum. Ett sovrum (det har två stora garderober) har en king size-säng med rum på golvet för att lägga till luftmadrass och två sovrum vardera vad queen size-sängar med garderober. Badrummet på nedervåningen är 10 x 20 och har en dusch, separat stor badkar och två toaletter. Vi har också en tvättmaskin och torktumlare nere.

Varje sovrum i bottenvåningen har dörrar som leder dig ut till 30 x 15 skärmad i veranda. Vår veranda har utsikt över sjön på alla öppna sidor med gott om sittplatser för en stor grupp människor. Vi har en tv, kyl och frys i lägenhetstorlek som finns i den avskärmade verandan. Kolla in våra bilder för att få en bättre uppfattning om den avkopplande tiden du kan spendera med din familj och vänner i vår skärmdörr. På de varma dagarna kan du slå på takfläktar och golvfläktar, få ett kallt glas te och njuta av ditt besök i vårt hem.

Det finns en skärmad dörr på vänster sida som gör att du kan gå ner till däck / pergola och slutligen till bryggan. Dock kan användas (använda på egen risk) för att simma, sitta och ta med din båt. Båtaktiviteter som skidåkning, slangar, vattenbrädor eller simning är bara några meter bort. Fisk från kajen om du föredrar.

På övervåningen finns tre carports och en parkeringsplats bredvid stugan.

Vår stuga i Selah har 2 sovrum och ett öppet område med kök och vardagsrum. Ett bad i full storlek. Selah har en dubbelsäng i ett sovrum och två tvillingar i det andra med öppet kök och vardagsrum. Vardagsrummet har en bäddsoffa och en extrasäng. Selah ligger bara 8 meter från Inspiration.

Kom och njut av vårt hem på den vackra och natursköna Kentucky sjön. Du kommer att vara glad att du gjorde det. Det är dags att komma undan.

Great place for a family getaway

We traveled from MO to KY with another family for this lake getaway. The kids loved swimming off the dock. The large living room in the main house has high ceilings, and is a great place to gather for dinner or just chill out. Loved the screen porch. Great place to relax with a cocktail in the late afternoon.

Great fun for all!

Entire extended family had a wonderful time while enjoying this great property. The dock was both a spot to swim and sun and made it so much easier to enjoy boating on beautiful Kentucky lake. Having access to both the house and the cottage made it possible for everyone to have their own space and to enjoy lots of family time as well.

Perfect for large family

We very much enjoyed our stay at the house and cottage. The property provided ample parking for all of ohr vehicles plus a boat trailer. Own private dock made getting out on the water hassle less and there is a boat launch within 2 minutes of the property. The house and the cottage was more than enough room for a group of 8. The cottage is a nice addition to give some separation bewtween the adultsand teens. This is by far the best option for a large / blended / extended family or friends gathering / vacation. I will definitely rent here again.

Perfect place to social distance!

Very comfortable and spacious! Had everything we needed...even down to a vegetable peeler! With a Monday to Monday rental there was very little activity on the lake except for Saturday. We were able to kayak and canoe easily and safely. It seemed we had the lake to ourselves. Quiet neighborhood. Owner responded very quickly to my many questions. Wonderful place to slow down, be quiet and enjoy family.

Amazing Lake Vacation

Two families stayed at the Yates property. Everything was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels and enough soap to get you started until you could get to the store. The boys/men in both families enjoyed the “bungalow” of additional space. It was our “man cave” for the week. The views were spectacular and the convenience of being on the lake was awesome! Michael responded very quickly to any questions. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Week at KY Lake

The place was what we needed to have all the family together to fish, swim or just hang out. The screened in porch was the best part of the house. The floating dock got a lot of use too. There are a lot of stairs so make sure you are ok with that.

Lake house family vacation

Beautiful lake views. Loved the open kitchen living room, with enough seating for every one to share a meal, the owner was quick to respond and have the air conditioning repaired, when it stopped working, we would have liked more privacy with the bedroom

Comfortable and spacious!

This was our first VRBO booking and couldn’t be happier! The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The cottage on the property was perfect for the three teenagers in our group to have their own space. The property owner was very informative and responded to questions promptly. The screen porch was a perfect setting to watch the kids on the dock or enjoy watching the action on the lake.

Relaxing and fun stay at Inspiration and Selah

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. With the main home and cottage, there was plenty of space for our two families of 4. The property was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the views of the lake are fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Overall a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful View

Our family enjoyed our stay very much and Michael was very responsive. It was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The separate cottage worked well for our family dynamic and having 2 kitchens was helpful for meal preparation. Navigation to and from the dock takes care with little ones, but the platform was great for them. The only negative we encountered is the lack of handicap accessibility. My mother-in-law was unable to use the downstairs bathroom in the main house because the toilet is on a platform.

My wife and I feel in love with this property as soon as saw it. The most beautiful lake views of Kentucky Lake and Tennessee River. Relaxing in our home or sitting in the screened in porch just makes that summer days lazy! Our family visits our lake property as often as possible. Our adult children and grand children love using the deep water dock for swimming, fishing and docking boats. Come visit us and spend some time getting inpired.
