Fantastic stay

The Merry Moose is above and beyond our expectations. It’s in a great spot, the hosts have thought of everything.We used - Clare Valley Wine tours ( card is in merry moose ) for a tour - very very knowledgeable Graeme Bright

Location location location

The B&B was amazing so clean huge 2 double bedrooms with enormous ensuites the living kitchen areas are amazing and the stocked pantry and breakfast supplies blue us away. A 5 minute walk to Uppside Restaurant was excellent especially the Tapas on Sunday afternoon. Also Sevenhill Hotel you can eat in the cellar and they have a shuttle bus food was excellent as well.

Excellent property with lots of space

Great property, everything literally brand new, well appointed with generous provisions and top of the range appliances. Loads of room and privacy for two couples. Only slight downside is proximity to Main North Road, which maybe an issue for light sleepers. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again

Comfortable stay at the Merry Moose . Tastefully decorated, conveniently located. Spent a very happy three days there. The host even added breakfast provisions. Thankyou for the Clare Valley hospitality , very impressed.

Brilliant House!

This is an exceptional property located in the middle of the Clare Valley. The property is so well equipped with beautiful furnishings, huge bedroom & dreamy bed, kitchen with everything you could need to cook up a gourmet meal! Bacon & eggs in the fridge, looking out to the vines for wine o’clock!! We loved it!!!

The perfect base to explore the Clare Valley

This is a wonderful stay that has been well designed and looked after. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, in an excellent location to explore the valley's wineries and food highlights. We loved the design touches throughout the property. Julie was easy to communciate with and made sure we were very comfortable. Thank you!

Gorgeous Clare Valley Bolthole

This is a lovely house that is very well kitted out for an extremely comfortable stay. The location is fabulous with so many great wineries and restaurants so close by and Julie is a very responsive, generous host. The house is on the highway so you will hear some traffic noise, something to note if you are a light sleeper. For us though, it was the perfect central retreat to return to after a day’s wine tasting and relax by the fire with a welcome coffee.

A beautiful restful property with a lot of thought to detail . Excellent for 2 couples . Close to the Reisling trail and Clare . Wonderful in Winter with a wood combustion heater . A truly relaxing weekend . Julie is a thoughtful host and provides many treats . This was our second visit and we will come back again !!
