We used the home for 8 nights with our full family celebrating 30 years together and my retirement. Spacious! Very hot days and AC worked very well! Separate compressor for 1st & 2nd floor. Plenty of kitchen and eating space. Loved the AM and evening porch sitting with water view. The minor issues we ran in to were easily corrected by us. Host was always available for questions. We would absolutely stay again! Walking distance to anything you need including Island Creamery!!

Great location. Perfect house for our family.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. Great location and this was our 2nd year staying there and we plan to be back next year!

Family Trip

Overall this was a big property that worked well for a family vacation. Multiple rooms and plenty of space to have a great home-base for a trip with kids that required multiple stops to recharge.

Stately home, as advertised. Lots of space. Have stayed for many years, each year there are some improvements. Kitchen facilities and outside grill are good. Wi Fi access is good, easy trip to the beach.

Christmas Parade

Our second year staying at this home for the Chincoteague Christmas parade. The absolute best place to stay for the parade. Nice home, lots of rooms and well equipped. Would stay again.

Big house & Great Price

We were happy to find a large enough house at an affordable price. Well furnished with beds, linens, and kitchenware. The owners were communicative and helpful. Would stay here again.

Lovely home

The property and location are beautiful! Right across from the bay... sunsets are gorgeous! Very roomy. Check in was very easy. Communication with host was good. I would definitely stay there again!

I loved the place, very spacious, cozy, and in a very good location, it has everything you need to spend a pleasant time with the family, it has a games room for the little ones in the house, what I liked was the communication we had With the administrator, he answered every question and call we had...

Our 2nd visit!

We stayed in this property for 4 weeks in 2020, and were happy to return, this time just for 4 days. We brought the whole family this time, with 10 of us in the house. We had plenty of room. It’s such a great location, too. We’re already looking forward to coming back a 3rd time someday.

Great location!

We had a great trip! It definitely wasn't the cleanest place we've stayed at and when you walk in it has a heavy smell of must/moth balls. There was tons of room and we could all spread out and not feel crowded around each other. The location is absolutely perfect! The house contact person was very kind and personable.

Clean spacious house

Upstairs master bathroom toilet wasn’t working, which was a bummer - but not unbearable (at least shower was functional). My family has been coming here for years & we love the location & spaciousness of the house. Hopefully we’ll be back next year too.

Good stay

House is very big and spacious. Love,love,loved it. Had a very nice stay washer and dryer is very convenient when staying for a week like we did. I've already recommended it to friends looking to book for next year. It's easy to find. Right down the street from the shops and restaurants. Would love to come back.

Family Vacation

The house was big with plenty of spaces for our whole family to spread out as well as the large eat in kitchen/family room where we all ate and spent time together. The location is great and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. We had a couple issues but they were addressed right away. It is a big old house with a downstairs bedroom which is great for older family members. The diwnstairs bathroom is small, but the owner is in the process of remodeling the bathrooms. Overall we loved being together there and would stay again.

Nice big house in a very convenient location!

The house was perfect for a post-Christmas mini-break with my adult children from out of state. With 5 bedrooms and two living spaces, there was plenty of room for everyone. It is an older home, but it was kept very clean. The kitchen was up-to-date with all new appliances. It was an interesting sort of house because there were architectural and design styles from a bunch of different eras, and this made it very unique. The location right as you come into town is great because it was easy to get to and there is a lot you can walk to. Nice water views from the front of the house.

Stay on the Island

We all enjoyed the space!!! There were a few issues - concrete blocks underneath the master bed, master toilet wasn’t working, the ice maker couldn’t keep up and water was an issue on Sunday. Bathtub wouldn’t drain, toilets weren’t flushing properly and water was coming out from underneath the house. I also have never stayed in a VRBO that I had to make the beds. We loved the location but overall the issues out weighed the location.
