Alla tvättbehov kan tas om hand i tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek i hela badet. Bakdörren öppnar upp till en majestätisk utsikt över poolen med ett meniga staket. Steg leder ner till poolen. Där kan du njuta av ett föryngrande dopp i poolen, visa upp dina dykfärdigheter från dykbrädan eller koppla av i en av de sex loungestolarna vid poolen. Om utomhusaktiviteter vädjar till, finns en pojkar och flickor som slår upp högen och basketmålet över gården. Efter att ha haft utomhusglädje kan du stanna av i utomhusduschen innan du grillar.
Detta paradisskott ligger inte långt från Troy centrum, AL. Platser av intresse i området inkluderar Troy University som är värd för säsongsbetonade sportevenemang, liksom Troy Parks & Recreational Center. The Pool House was exactly what my husband and I needed for a little getaway. It was very clean. I particularly appreciated all the instructions and information about the area. Small details like the labels on the light switches are so helpful and make a difference. Loved hanging out around the pool and on the porch. We will be back!!

It was ok

We were looking for a quiet getaway for our family of 4...There is a clear rule of NO glass by the pool. Someone clearly couldnt help themselves and my husband, 1 of my children, and myself ended up with glass in our feet. There is a farm workshop directly behind the pool where there is constant noise from the workers and their music. They also found it necessary to fire a gun and blow a bird to bits in front of my children. I have PTSD and it sent me into a panic attack. The place was mostly clean. Walls need a good scrub down. The wiring needs replaced/repaired. The fan in the bathroom is a bit noisy and sounds like its going to fall off the ceiling.Michelle was very nice and responded very quickly to my texts. The pool itself was very clean and enjoyable. Due to the glass and unexpected gunfire i have to give this place a 2-3/5. We will not be returning because of it.

Perfect Oasis

The house, deck, & pool were a perfect place for us to get off the road and relax. The peace and quiet of the property are wonderful and there’s even a great restaurant just around the corner. Will definitely stay here again

The pool house suited us fine for the week we spent visiting family. The owner was helpful, and informative of spots to eat in the area. Also was very easy to reach when we had an issue with one of the door locks

Beautiful area

We enjoyed our stay very much. Upon arrival the pool was green and dirty but they were very prompt to send someone out. It took until our last day for the pool to clear but it didn't ruin oour stay.

Great Host

The Pool House was a perfect spot for our family! We enjoyed the pool table, the swimming pool, and our great hosts. Every question we had was answered promptly and all of our interactions were very friendly. You can definitely tell why they are ranked so highly as hosts!

Outstanding in every way!

This place is about 10-15 minutes outside of Troy but worth every single minute of it! It’s clean, peaceful, and just really felt like home the minute we walked in. I can’t recommend this property enough! Also, treat yourself to the Old Barn Restaurant while you’re there!

Peaceful retreat

The property and house were wonderful. The minimum to stay there is available. I was charged extra for the kids, but wasn't provided extras like coffee, towels, etc. The property manager did respond immediately when we had trouble finding key code at late check-in and helped us navigate a booking mistake. We will definitely stay again. I was more frustrated with the VRBO app than the actual property owner. It is incredibly cumbersome use in comparison to other apps.

Beautiful Country Property

This property was a wonderful surprise!!! The home was just the right size for the two of us. The home is in the country but only a short drive into town. It was great sitting out on the back porch swing and enjoying the swimming pool. The internet was fast when we needed to work and the home was in a great area between Greenville and Dothan as we were playing the Robert Trent Jones golf courses. I highly recommend this property and we would stay there again.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

Such a cute place in a small town. The pool house is such a lovely place to get away and relax for a weekend if you’re looking for quiet and peaceful place with a private pool. Michelle is a wonderful host and the place is decorated beautifully. Will definitely book in the future!

Perfect place to get away!

I am a young professional that worked in education for 17 years before deciding to take a different path. Southern hospitality has been ingrained in me from an early age and I just knew I would enjoy making guests happy and comfortable while they were visiting. So in June I began a new company called Southern Backroad Retreats. Southern Backroad Retreats began with only The Pool House and now I also rent the bottom floor (3 bedroom and full kitchen) of my in-laws home.
The Pool House which was home to David, my husband, and our two older children. We had an old farmhouse located where the main house sits now. One night while I was cooking supper David sold the farmhouse to a neighbor to be moved. David and I, along with our crew, built the Pool House at night and on the weekends. This after hours build turned into home for four years. We got pregnant with our third child and knew the one bedroom escape would not hold us all. That is when David built me the house of my dreams next door to The Pool House. Since then our kids have used The Pool House to entertain friends and the entire family enjoys curling up in front of a rolling fire!
Today, my husband David and I manage our businesses Taylor Construction & Roofing & Southern Backroad Retreats. Time that isn't spent working we spend watching our children play ball or enjoying a leisure drive on the mule around the countryside. David and I hope you enjoy the country as much as we do!
