Lantgård som just blivit helt ombyggd. Byggd för en jaktstuga ligger det 1 km från Fort Cobb sjön båt ramp. Gott om utrymme ute för att leka, parkera din båt, cookout och njut av naturen. Nära sjön och privat. Bara 1,5 mil till närbutik om du behöver något. Huset är upprättat för att vara bekvämt och slappna av. Gott om plats och det finns tillräckligt med soffa (14 fläckar) alla får plats! Det finns 10 bäddar på övervåningen med 6 extra sängar i källaren (extra avgift).

Hela gården var avsedd för en jaktstuga men erbjöds som ett sjöhus under sommaren. Gott om utrymme att parkera ute för båtar, bbq, vad du än vill. Allt i huset är nytt och utformat för att vara användarvänligt och bekvämt. Kakel badrum med trägolv i hela huset hjälper till att hålla det användarvänligt. Soffa sittplatser för 14 på övervåningen med 10 platser som lägger sig. TV: erna är 4K HD och har blu-ray-spelare, surroundljud och ansluta till internet för att titta på filmer.

Det finns gott om utrymme ute för att springa runt och även en eldplats för att njuta av kvällen. Utsikten över soluppgången och solnedgången är fantastisk från solrummet. Be om något och värd hjälper dig så mycket som möjligt.

Great place for a family gathering!

Doug was great to work with and was very kind, responsive and flexible on our reservation. The house is charming and welcoming and can easily accommodate a group gathering. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and living areas were great for the group to gather and spend time together. We will definitely be back!

Excellent find!

This property was more than what we could have imagined. We had a big group of family and friends and beds for everyone. Doug was always available for any questions we had during our visit. We will definitely rent again.

Great place for a large group!

Took family and friends to Ft. Cobb Lake for Labor Day weekend, and the house was perfect for our group! Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping areas, worked great for our group! Very close to the lake and a beautiful location. The owner was so friendly and accommodating!

Fabulous Farmhouse

This house was more than we expected. It was well furnished, kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils I could need, and it was clean and well kept. It's obvious a LOT of love went into this house. It just felt cozy and comforting.

Nice and big

We had a lot of family with us to go to fort Cobb lake. The house was perfect since we had so may people. The owner is very nice and helped with any questions we had before we arrived. Definitely recommend.

My name is Doug and I would like to welcome you to my house in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. I bought the place and completely remodeled it with the idea of using it as a place to stay while hunting. As you can see, there is plenty of room for guests. I feel that everyone likes their own personal space, hence why there are so many beds in different rooms. When the hunting gets good, it seems everyone wants to bring a friend!

I hope that you enjoy your time here, no matter the duration. If there is anything that you feel would make other peoples stay better, please let me know. An investment in something shared by many is immeasurable…

Varför värden valde detta boende

I tried to make the place as nice as possible while keeping it user friendly and easy to clean up. The house was built with the expectations of being used so please make yourself at home. You will find everything you need in the kitchen as far as cookware and appliances. Feel free to look through the cabinets to see whats there. If you make a mess don’t worry, just clean it up. If something breaks, just let me know, I have some great guys that can fix just about anything.

Now to the part about why you’re here… I decided to rent my place out not because I need the money, but because I realized that a majority of the best memories I’ve had while traveling have been made in a place that someone else built for themselves and opened it up to others. So in the spirit of sharing I’m doing this for you. It would be a true waste to let it sit empty during the summer when it could serve the purpose I intended for it; making other people good memories that last a life time. That’s what it’s all about isn’t it?

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

So a little about the house. As you can see the area is a huge farming community. Cotton, corn, soybeans, wheat, milo, and cattle are the predominant crops. Almost all the farming businesses are family based. They live the droughts, fires, hail storms, floods, and tornados that you see on tv. Its just a way of life for them. If you look at the tin on the roof in the sunroom, you’ll see the hail marks. The fire pit came from a guy in Union City who custom builds them by hand. The cedar in both the bathroom vanities came from a local sawmill and were built by a local carpenter. I designed the tv to fold up in the sunroom so that you have an uninterrupted view of the sunrise, sunset and if you’re lucky the best seat in the house for a lightning storm. And if things get really bad, the concrete in the basement is 18” thick so go there in the event of a tornado.
