Detta mÄste vara det snyggaste huset i Old Orchard Beach! VÄrt strandhus ligger sÄ nÀra havet att du kan lukta den salta luften frÄn vattnet och du kan se och höra vÄgorna krascha. Detta 3 vÄningar hem Àr perfekt för familjer och vÀnner som Äterförenas och tillbringar antingen en lÄng helg tillsammans utanför sÀsongen eller en vecka tillsammans under sommarsÀsongens höjd. BelÀget pÄ en lugn, lugn cul-de-sac gata som leder till Maines bÀsta dolda skatt stranden! Bara 15 minuter frÄn Downtown Portland och 90-120 minuter frÄn Downtown Boston! Det Àr extremt lÀtt att komma till. VÄr öppna planlösning gör ett mycket avkopplande besök. Jag rekommenderar starkt att du tittar pÄ videon som vi nyligen laddade upp sÄ att du kan ta en rundtur i huset, uteplatsen, trÀdgÄrden. och det viktigaste vardagsrummet i huset pÄ bottenvÄningen. Vardagsrummet leder ut till en stor uteplats och trÀdgÄrd. Det har plats för 6-8 personer. Bredvid vardagsrummet Àr det öppna köket. Det vetter mot det rymliga vardagsrummet och matsalen. Det erbjuder avancerade apparater med en stor, lÄng ö för 8 eller fler personer att sitta runt. Det nya matbordet sitter pÄ 10 personer. Det finns ytterligare en sittgrupp utanför matsalen med en bekvÀm soffa och 2 svÀngbara fÄtöljer med en stor eldstad som gör hans omrÄde mycket mysigt! Nyligen installerat, italiensk, utomhusmatbord med lantlig stil med pergola-markis ovanför eftermiddagsskugga. We are a family of 6, four children ages 14 on up. We have been coming to Old Orchard Beach for the past 18 summers. Our children absolutely love playing on the large beach. This past summer they took up surfing lessons with the Corner Surf Shop. Blake was a fantastic instructor! He took videos and photos throughout their daily surfing lessons and posted them on his website each day. We take long walks at sunrise, 4-5 miles! If the kids are for it they join us for an early evening walk once the tide has gone back out.
My wife grew up in the next town over from Old Orchard Beach. She spent her summers as a child on this beach and dreamed of owning a property nearby. We have 4 children who have spent their summers here at our beach house. They absolutely love coming up to Old Orchard Beach, each summer. We all have fond memories. Enjoying the beach, walking into town - either Old Orchard Beach or Ocean Park. Two polar opposite towns; one loud and busy, the other a sleepy, dry town. Our property is located just 2 or 3 blocks from Ocean Park, just 50 yards in from the beach!

Lastly, the very best trip was had last summer when I packed my family in the car and drove up to Kennebek river and went white water rafting at Crab Apple White Water company. The guides are awesome, funny & attentive. The water ride itself is quite thrilling. You can jump out of the boat and coast down the river for 10 minutes toward the very end of the ride. Ideal for adults, teenagers and pre-teens, ages 10+. It is a 2.5 hour drive but so worth it! Don't leave there without bringing photos home with you as cameras are set up on the banks of the river. The photos are just priceless!!!

Most tourists who come to Maine in the summer return each year. The beaches are breath-taking. You can walk for miles and really let your mind wonder! While the water is not comparable to the temperatures of the water in the Caribbean, the wake is mild and child-friendly, most of the time...
The beaches are wide enough and long enough that you're not trampled on by other tourists. They are clean and easy to walk on. We enjoy this part of town, as it is quiet, residential, and little, to no traffic, whatsoever!
You really don't need a vehicle if you're staying at one of our properties, with the beach right in front of us, and the Downtown area, a pleasant 15 minute walk, it makes this vacation so relaxing, not having to sit in traffic.
If there is one thing we highly recommend all of our guests do at least once, is to wake up early and walk along the beach toward the pier at Sunrise. Take your coffee, your phone and your sunglasses with you, kids too, if you can get them up, you will see the most amazing sunrise!! It is truly an amazing experience.
We enjoy this section of town as we are so close to Ocean Park. The Soda Fountain is one of our favorite breakfast places to visit. We typically sit outside, on their veranda, and watch people walk on by. The owner & staff are all extremely kind & very friendly.

Splash Town USA - water park (they are attached to each other. The park is located in Saco, the town next door.
Aquaboggan theme park. More suitable for younger children. Also located in Saco.
Palace Playland - you can walk to. It is a fun themepark with amusements. It is located in front of the pier. A very pleasant 15 minute walk!
Pirates Cove - mini golf. This place is a fun favorite for my family. It is an easy 10 minute walk, it is open in the day & at night.
The Memorial Park has basketball & tennis courts and a fun playground for your younger children.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Our beach house is the 3rd house in from the beach. It sits on a sleepy, cul-de-sac, street that has only 5 houses on it, as such, we have allowed our children to walk back and forth from the beach to the house by themselves. If you're standing at the edge of the beach you can watch them walk into the yard, and into the house. We are that close to the beach! The ocean views are spectacular, especially from either the 2nd floor bedrooms, porch & third floor bedrooms. The garden / yard is so formidable that there are days where you won't want to leave it to go to the beach. Our outdoor, stone-built hot tub was one of the best investments we ever made! We keep it open year-round, we love to sit in it in the middle of winter! We installed a gas fire-place on the other side of our stone patio and have comfortable couches that surround it, making it an awesome place to gather and socialize. There is also a huge sun umbrella that covers most of that sitting area. An enclosed, outdoor shower sits beside the hot tub, a long outdoor, dining table with bench seating sits underneath a pergola, and a large, Weber grill stands right beside it. It has a gas line connected to it, so no propane tank issues, ever! Our driveway, beside the house can comfortably park 6 - 8 vehicles, depending on their size of course. There is additional, free parking on the opposite side of the street. Inside our beach house, it is so comfortable & relaxing. With the French windows open you can smell the salty, sea air, and hear the waves crashing. The open plan style throughout the house is just so family friendly - you always know where your kids are playing. We built a fun basement for kids to play table tennis, skee-ball, foosball, etc. We supply our guests with 10 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, boogy boards, wake boards, kayaks, kids bicycles, beach toys, balls & more. We hope you will enjoy staing at our beach house and will treat it as if it were your own.
