Bekväm lägenhet på första våningen

Brantfield House är ett stort viktorianskt hus som ligger i mogna trädgårdar i ett lugnt läge med utsikt över byn Bowness och Lake Windermere. Lägenheten ligger på första våningen på framsidan av huset, med vackert proportionerade rum med fantastisk utsikt över sjön och omgivande fjäll.

Lägenheten uppdateras ständigt och i januari 2018 installerades en ny badrumsvit. Alla rum är välmöblerade, rymliga, ljusa och luftiga. Lägenheten sover 4 i två sovrum, sovrummet har en king size-säng och det andra sovrummet har två enkelsängar. Alla sängar byttes ut i september 2015. Varje rum har gott om förvaring och tvåbäddsrummet har en TV och PS2

Badrummet har dusch, toalett och tvättställ. Köket är nyligen utrustat med gott om arbetsyta och inkluderar ugn, spis, kyl / frys, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, tvättmaskin och diskmaskin. Det stora vardagsrummet / matsalen är nyinredda och är bekvämt inredda med skinnsoffor och matbord i fönstret. Det finns en TV med Freeview och DVD / Video-spelare och ett urval av DVD-skivor, videor, böcker och spel. Lägenheten har gratis wifi-åtkomst. Detta rum har ett fönster där du spektakulär utsikt över sjön Windermere och de omgivande fjällen.

Huset ligger i ett lugnt läge men bara en kort promenad till hjärtat av Bowness

Stayed here for the second time and found it to be a perfect base for bowness and the lakes.Great communication from Christine the host prior to our stay to make check in nice and easy.Apartment has all the facilities that you need for your stay, spotlessly clean and a great location.Please note there is a steep road up to the property but what fantastic views that then provides.Have already booked again for next year.

Absolutely wonderful house. Views are beautiful, we loved it. However I do feel it’s important to mention that this house is on a very steep hill so would not suit wheelchair users or people who can’t walk well. It doesn’t state it anywhere on the description.

Calm and spacey apartment

Bedrooms and living room with a lot of space (we were 3 adults). The apartment is very calm (end of the road: no traffic) and has fantastic views from the dining table over the lake and mountains. Almost new bathroom, clean and very well working. Well equipped kitchen with all devices in good working conditions, only the frying pans are quite used up (coating)...We really enjoyed our stay and would come back for our next holidays in Lakeland.

Ideal spot

We loved our stay at this property. Great views, parking, space, responsive host, able to walk to the lake, everything we needed. Lovely decor and art work make it a very pleasant place to come "home" to after a day out and about.

Out of this world

Mind blowing accommodation, couldn't stop looking at the incredible lake views. Spotless property, so quiet and tranquil, listening to nature and with a short 5 minute walk to the centre. Perfect weather made the stay even more incredible.

Beautiful apartment

We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment it had everything we needed, it was spotless and a fantastic view, we have been to this area a few times now and I would definitely stay here again as couldn’t fault it, we both loved it. Lots of dvds to choose from if you’re just wanting a relaxing movie night in, it was like a home from home we loved everything about it. The views are amazing and it’s so quiet and only a short walk down hill to the town with loads of pubs & restaurants. I would recommend to book this apartment if available. Thank you to the host for letting stay in your great apartment x

Hiking holiday Lake District

Stunning views from this lovely property. Great base to explore the Lake District. We took advantage of the many beautiful hiking trails. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

one word , fab u lous !!

Really lovely spacious apartment. Great views. Extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated, , we lacked for nothing. Comfortable and quiet, but only a short distance from the lovely hustle and bustle of Bowness. I particularly like the artworks on the wall, two of my favourite artists, so what more could we want? !! Will definitely return Thank you Christine

Great spot in the Lake District!

We had a great stay in this apartment. You can walk down the hill to shops, pubs, and the lake. Inside is very comfortable with a great view. The host was great communicating via email after my VRBO app glitched out. Minor quibbles would be that the little hallway is almost comically squeaky, and it would be great to have a couple of fans to circulate the air a bit. Overall, highly recommended!

Home away from home

Our first thought was, the photos do not do this apartment justice, as it exceeded expectation. The information provided regarding check in and check out was thorough and the apartment was clean, with lovely linen and towels. We did not tire from sitting at the table watching the scenery change and the kitchen was great for cooking. We also loved the location, being above the village away from the hustle and bustle, it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return for another stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Windermere experience.

This was my third visit to Brantfield and as usual, the property was spotless with great amenities.The view of Lake Windermere is one of the outstanding features of the property.

Another wonderful holiday.

This is our second visit and we love this property! It is in a fantastic location with the most wonderful view of Lake Windermere. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need and easy parking outside. Quick walk to the shops, restaurants and boats and yet in a quiet location. The host is very good with communication and updates. Thank you Christine!

Schöne Aussicht, gute Lage

Die Aussicht auf den Windermere von dem herrlichen Sitzbereich vor dem großen Fester ist das Highlight! Absolut ruhige Lage, aber in 5 Minuten im Zentrum (steiler Weg!) Parkplatz groß und gut zu erreichen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zum Sightseeing und Wandern im Lake District! Kommunikation mit Vermieterin einfach und unproblematisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Christine was very prompt to reply to our messages. The flat was as charming as it was the first time we went . The view is fantastic .easy parking , close to amenities . Can't wait to stay again soon.
