We booked this condo for a week in January, and had a great time. The condo is a fantastic place to stay, the area of the resort is quiet, and easy to access. The sleeper sofa was a great place for the kids to crash at night, and the balcony looking at the gulf was a great place to eat meals when not out exploring. The condo was very clean, and appeared to have been remolded recently. My only gripe, and it is a very very minute one at that, was that there is literally nothing in the condo as far as condiments go, so when your shopping for the week, buy the things you would normally not think about... salt and pepper, cooking oil, butter, ketchup, mustard.... etc. Some single serving salt and pepper packets, butter packets and ketchup packets would go a long ways, helps greatly with the kids. One of the best features that this condo has, is the access to the 3 heated swimming pools, I’ve stayed at several condos on Sanibel and Captiva, many say they’re pools are heated.... and many of them just happen to be “out of order” when you arrive, these were lifesavers on the cool chilly days, and kept the kids very occupied. Another HUGE plus to this condos location is the fresh farmers market held in the parking lot on Tuesday mornings, do yourself a favor and save some of your shopping for this, great variety of seafood, veggies, fruits and even pastas, we went a bit overboard, but ate like kings for a few extra meals. Overall, this is a great condo for a stay on the island, kid friendly, and quiet. Would stay again without a doubt.
