Lodgeen byggdes på 1850-talet och var ursprungligen sjuksköterskekvarteren för området. Det har omsorgsfullt restaurerats och renoverats med fasta trägolv i hela och vackra historiska funktioner samtidigt som man lägger till modern funktionalitet och stil för gästerna att njuta av.

Kalinya Gardens ligger idealiskt bara 2 km från motorväg M31 Hume. En 60 minuters bilresa från Sydney CBD, och 20-30 minuter till Mittagong, Bowral och Berimma. 2 minuter till de lokala butikerna, tågstationen och puben.

Lodge har fyra lyxiga sovrum med en individuell badrum och smart TV. Sovrum ett, två och tre har kung sängar. Sovrum fyra har en queen size-säng. Alla sängar har vackra 1000TC linne.

Skulle du behöva boende för extra gäster kan du boka 2 extra rum och ett badrum i The Homestead, som ligger bredvid på samma fastighet. Eller separat bok för att stanna i Homestead istället.

Alla rum är utrustade med unika antikviteter, tappningsbänkar och fransk dörrar med blylampa.

Lodge har ett fullt utrustat Caesarstone-kök med stor Ilve-ugn, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kaffekolv och spishällspresso.

Den stora hemmabiosystemet har en 75-tums skärm ansluten till Netflix, en vintage VHS-filmsamling, en stor boksamling, brädspel och ett Bluetooth-musiksystem.

Det finns omvänd luftkonditionering till alla bostadsområden.

Det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet har höga tak, synliga bjälkar och en öppen spis.

Det finns en stor underbar underhållande däck som öppnar ut till de vackra trädgårdarna inklusive en alfresco matsal med inbyggd grill och stor utomhus spis.

Lodge erbjuder den perfekta platsen att koppla av och varva ner.

Njut av ett spel på tennisbanan eller ett dopp i den 17m uppvärmda poolen (uppvärmd från 1 oktober till 30 april, stängd på svalare månader). Ta en drink och en chatt i det fantastiska poolhuset. Däck ut barnen på trampolin, svänguppsättning och stor utomhus schackbräda.

Chooks och vaktel vandrar fastigheten och munch på matskrot. Våra ankor och gäss njuter av besök på dammen eller dammen. Utforska de 6 hektar av etablerade härliga trädgårdarna.

50th birthday celebrations in an amazing place

We knew this place was going to be great from the photos and the website but when you arrive it does not do it justice. I celebrated my 50th with family and friends and we had non stop fun for four days and Mandy is the best host and super helpful.

Fantastic property and only an hour from Sydney!

What an amazing property. Kalinya Gardens has everything you would want, heated pool, tennis court, beautiful gardens and amazing outdoor fireplaces. If you are looking for a venue for a special occasion or simply a relaxing weekend away with friends, this is the place. The host, Mandy, is equally as fantastic, incredibly helpful and very easy going and personable. I would highly recommend this.

Welcome to Kalinya Estate. My husband Chris and I bought the Estate as a country escape for our family nearly 20 years ago and discovered a passion for hosting and building relationships. My background as a Clinical Psychologist provided a blueprint to fostering such relationships and encouraging others in a similar way. Consequently, to promote meaningful connections, we offer an un-rushed experience through a 2-night minimum stay. Chris and I love sport and music, so the estate grew over the years to be the ultimate family playground. Our hope is that Kalinya will bring your family and friends closer, that they will have the time of their lives using all of the facilities and spending quality time together. Chris and I moved to Bargo to get away from the city, to enjoy the best of rural living with our family. I am a Clinical Psychologist by background, and love spoiling and looking after people. We set up Kalinya to cater for large extended family or friendship groups. We love that there is plenty to do at Kalinya for anyone who stays; from the old to the very young, from the active sportsman, to one who enjoys a good book.

Kalinya Estate is an Australian Colonial, heritage-listed, luxury Estate; offering exclusive high-end accommodation at a private acreage for groups. With sporting, musical and recreation facilities catering to guests of all ages, it offers opportunities for work, relaxation, entertainment and more. The Estate’s accommodation features three separate buildings, The Homestead, The Lodge and The Barn, all of which are a short stroll from each other through the gardens. All three spaces have been magnificently restored, with all of the quality modern updated fixtures you need. Kalinya Estate is a private venue, taking only one group at a time. ‘The Homestead’ is one of few original Australian Colonial Mansions- 1860's Victorian Georgian. This house is where all of the guests staying on the estate gather to share meals, due to the large entertaining spaces. 'The Lodge' was the original medical centre for the whole region- originally name Emohruo. 'The Barn' was originally used to build submarines and after that was used to care for champion dressage horses. Kalinya Estate is located in the rural town of Bargo within the Wollondilly and welcomes its guests on the land of the Dharawal people. We aim to honour their culture and love for the environment, whilst showing respect to their elders past, present and emerging. ‘Kalinya’ is itself an Aboriginal word, which translates to ‘good, beautiful and honest’; the intention at Kalinya being to reflect these words in conduct and interactions. Kalinya Estate is entirely unique because of the high end sporting and musical offerings. There is plenty to do for everyone, no matter what the weather is. In the squash court, you can play racquetball, squash or handball. There is a 17m fully tiled heated pool and a therapeutic hot tub. Use the gym, foosball, billiards, table tennis, air hockey, or vintage arcade games. There is a piano lounge with a concert grand piano. Enjoy the ducks, chickens, orchard, and natural pond ecosystem.
