Fullt inhägnad sektion bara 10 minuters bilresa till Turangi. Fastigheten ligger bara några minuter från Motuoapa Marina, stränder vid stranden, kaféer och bara 40 minuters bilresa till Tongariro National Park.

Nice break

Great place. We were in Taupo to do some riding so were out all day. Nice quiet location for the evenings. Having the security of the garage was great peace of mind for storing the bikes overnight. The house is large, well heated for a cozy winter evening and well appointed for everything you need. We will definitely try to stay here again, good spot.

Fantastic spot, very clean and comfortable home

Great place for two families

This house is very well presented, huge living area and also massive deck space. Was perfect for us (two friends/families with teen chilldren). Excellent communication with the owner. Thanks for a great couple of days :)

Very pleased

Residence was better than the photos and description given. We were 5 good friends in our 60s who attended the LAB concert and enjoyed the AO tennis and waka ama finals on your sky tv. Plenty of beds, easy access, and enjoyed the large dining table. We were delighted with the spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. Thank you Margaret.

Great location and spacious but a bit unkept.

A great location, but unfortunately the house and garden is a bit rundown and not maintained. A lovely spacious house, but it was also not very clean on arrival.

Family getaway

Spacious and comfortable home with all the essentials you need. This home is larger than we expected which was fantastic. EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED

Large, clean, comfortable and well set up - felt like being in a home, not just a house. Location was pefect for us - a few doors away from family. Thank you and hope we might be able to use the house again on our regular trips to Motuoapa.

A fantastic home

We loved our stay! The home was spacious and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the negative part was having to take our recycling and rubbish with us! It was quite an inconvenience.

Average House

The house was okay. There wasn't enough towels for all of us, and the towels we were given, were old. There were 2 dusty smelling mattresses in the master closet, so we couldn't use it. The sun porch was scorching hot, and we couldn't open the windows because the beetles would get in. Every night we found beetles in the bed. We would have rented a new place, but couldn't afford to. We were also asked to mop the floor and take our garbage to the dump. Wouldn't stay again.

The best stay ever!

This holiday home was by far the best one we’ve stayed at. It’s a home away from home! Such a beautifully presented home. Clean, tidy and very well equipped with all necessities. Great heating provision. Such a spacious, comfortable and cosy home. We loved everything about it. Could not fault anything. It just made our long weekend even more special. Above all, Margaret was just amazing. So easy and efficient to communicate with. Thank you Margaret for making our stay a memorable one. Even our little ones said they loved your home. Very highly recommend this fabulous home.

Ski Trip

Beautiful large house, lots of space ad lovely and warm, has everything you need inside and out. Quiet neighbourhood. If I had a group we would happily stay again. Listing should state that you have to bring all own linen, first place I've stayed in that it was requested I bring own bathmat and only told the night before travel. Also, be mindful of hot water, we arrived straight off the mountain and run a half spa bath for kids to warm them up but then had no hot water until the morning. Small cylinder?

Hi there, we are Margaret and Kieran with 3 grown children who enjoy holidaying at the lake so we can relax and go fishing. We recently purchased the home to be able to have time out and are wanting to be able to offer this to others also.

Our home is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is private, warm and cosy and great for families with the best of both worlds having the lake and ski fields close by.
