The Arches är en fristående bottenvåningslägenhet kopplad till vårt hus i utkanten av Builth Wells. Det är omgivet av trädgårdar och har utsikt över staden, med kullarna och bergen bortom. Det finns två tvåbäddsrum båda med privata badrum och privat parkering. Det finns ett Full Sky TV-paket och gratis wifi.


Denna lägenhet har två tvåbäddsrum med privata / badrum (toalett, handfat, badkar och dusch), ett stort vardagsrum / kök, och separat ingång veranda. Alla rum är inredda och möblerade till mycket hög standard. Det fullt utrustade köket har en ögonkokare med separat spis, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och brödrost. Det finns en liten frys i korridoren. Bekväma sittplatser finns i vardagsrummet, tillsammans med TV / DVD och härlig utsikt över trädgården bortom. Gästerna använder en del av trädgården, som inkluderar en uteplats med sittplatser, ett litet damm och grillplats under sommarmånaderna.

I hyran ingår el, centralvärme, varmt vatten, alla sängkläder, handdukar och kökslinne. För din ankomst finns också basmat som te, kaffe, mjölk, socker, frukostflingor, marmelad etc. Andra shopping kan göras åt dig - inga problem!

Great holiday property

This property is large, airy & very well appointed. We were so grateful that the sun doesn't shine in all day, just early morning, as it was extremely hot when we stayed (high 20s & low 30s). However the apartment remained comfortably cool compared to outside. The surrounding lawn & trees are beautiful & make it very quiet & private.In all it was a lovely place to stay. It's just that the weather was too hot for us, being elderly, so we weren't able to make the most of our stay unfortunately!

What a fantastic find. The host (Mark) was very communicative and answered a couple of question we had (regarding parking) before we arrived. The property was in excellent condition, lovely fixtures and fittings and all amenities you could wish for. There was even milk and juice in the fridge, a loaf of bread and breakfast cereals. Most unexpected but also most welcome. Excellent value for money and we will definitely be back!

Relaxing Break

The property is large and set in a lovely garden, a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. it is spotlessly clean and the owner gave us milk, marmalade, cereal, welsh cakes, a loaf of bread!! The rooms are large enough for two couples to stay or a family of four. parking on the drive

Cannot imagine a quieter, more comfortable, or more perfect stay than our week here at The Arches!!!

My experience right from the start was fabulous. It is not easy to find a quiet two-bedroom self-catering apartment within easy walking distance of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society's Royal Welsh Show (held annually during the third week of July) in either lovely Llanelwedd or Builth Wells, and for many years I've looked longingly at The Arches, a 5-Star in-town accommodation which is normally booked at least a year or two in advance for a 7-day stay during spectacular Royal Welsh Show week. But a year-and-a-half prior to this year's Show (2022) I couldn't believe my good fortune when I contacted Mark at The Arches inquiring about availability during Show Week 2022 and found, much to my amazement, that he did indeed have an opening available for a week's stay in their self-catering two-bedroom apartment. Arrangements were made immediately to secure our stay, and suddenly all things seemed possible. And with that week now as our centerpiece for our entire trip, we were able to arrange both the front end and back end of our travels accordingly. The Arches looks perfectly gorgeous from the photographs on their own well-designed website, but I can tell you from our own experience having now enjoyed a week's stay that the photos only hint at just how quiet and beautiful and comfortable and incredibly peaceful The Arches accommodation is in "real life." And what perfectly fabulous hosts Louise and Mark and their young son are for their most fortunate guests! Mark and Louise offered to retrieve us at Builth Station upon our arrival, and as if that wasn't kind enough, they then offered to take us to neighboring Newtown where there was a larger grocery and with that generous gesture, we were now all set for an entire week's stay at The Arches. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and is surrounded by a lovely lawn with tall evergreens and a mixed evergreen and deciduous hedge, which makes for an elegant setting that is both graceful and calm, with a picnic table and benches from which to enjoy the birdsong. Fresh milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, sugar, a fresh loaf of bread and tasty package of Welsh cakes awaited our arrival. Both bedrooms have beautiful linens and luxurious towels and a perfectly wonderful view of the gardens. The next morning was Sunday and I was delighted to hear church bells ringing for a lovely long time as I listened through my open bedroom window overlooking the lawn and tall trees. Five stars plus!

Fabulous location for a holiday

Had a wonderful relaxing break at The Arches. Short walk to the town, great night out and met some friendly people. The accommodation was fabulous, sufficient amenities actually more than expected. The beds were comfortable. The garden area was spacious and peaceful. The owner was absolutely welcoming. We're looking forward to returning to The Arches and would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to Wales.

Lovely apartment and close to shops and town centre. Doors and handles were very squeaky. Could do with some WD40. Could also do with bath mats and instructions for using TV and Oven. Would go again. Vesantee

Great place in a great place

We came for walking in the Brecon Beacons and found a lovely property in lovely Builth Wells. The special feature of the apartment is the arched windows bringing light and a feeling of openness into the comfortable sitting room - better than the photo indicates. Everything worked just fine, and the hosts (who live above) are helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. Highly recommended.

Brilliant apartment.

Was greeted by the a very friendly proprietor who went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The arches are a feature in the living area and overlook a beautiful garden with seating area for outdoor dining. Unfortunately we couldn't make use of this as it was raining. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the main street shops, pubs and Groe Park. Would highly recommend this property.
