Perfect Get Away Retreat

The property was exactly as advertised. The view is just beautiful and kayaks and hot tub made this the perfect spot for us!

Cabin was very clean and the view was amazing!

Super cute and cozy cabin. We loved the location and privacy. There was a little bit of an ant problem so we kept all food in the fridge. We would come back to visit.

Stay at Watuga

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Wonderful location and private. Was able to park out boat/trailer and felt very safe to leave it as we ventured out. The host was very accommodating and returned our call/messages quickly. I would mention the phone service is poor and the road leading down to the house was rough.

Relaxing stay!

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the tranquility at the cabin. We boated for several days on the lake (rented Brenda’s pontoon). Was able to fish right off the dock and loved the lower deck where we sat in the afternoons and enjoyed a cocktail. Cabin was very clean and we plan to stay at their other cabin next year!

Perfect Peaceful & Relaxing location

Cabin was the perfect location if your wanting to escape the busy life. It was perfect for a couple. Hot tub was perfect on those cold nights and the heater and lounge chairs were perfect for a quiet morning watching the sunrise. Easy check in and great getaway We will be back

Romantic getaway

My partner and I shared a 3-night, romantic getaway over New Year’s Eve at the lake cabin. Accommodations were perfect, and we really enjoyed star gazing while soaking in the hot tub. Great view of the lake, and good opportunities for hiking nearby.

Peaceful Getaway

Great location on the lake! The cabin is small but efficiently laid out. Comfortable bed, nice towels, good Wi-Fi. The decks are great for enjoying the lake view, and the kayaks were a great way to explore this finger of the lake.

Lake retreat

Beautiful lake and mountains. Super cute lake house with fabulous outdoor living spaces. You can rent boats from local marinas. Villa Nove vineyard is close by and is stunning.

Perfect Vacation

We had a perfect stay! The property was clean and comfy. The owner were very friendly and helpful by answering questions. I highly recommend renting their boat. The view is perfect from the house but you must check out the lake. Can't wait to stay again!!!

The perfect quiet getaway

We had such a lovely stay here and can’t wait to come back again! The location is perfectly secluded in nature and the easy walk down to the dock allowed us to enjoy the lake to the fullest. The small cabin had everything you could need for cooking in and relaxing comfortably. Thank you to our hosts who who had excellent communication and recommendations.

This property is very secluded, it is hidden and shaded by many beautiful trees. You can sit on the deck enjoy the view while you eat your breakfast every morning and in the evening sit in the hot tub naked as a Jay-Bird if that is your wish no one will see you!

I love this property because it so well hidden from the view of neighbors as well as the lake traffic. You can sit out on the deck in the hot tub and enjoy the peaceful wooded privacy and a view of the beautiful Watauga Lake or jump in the Kayak and go for an evening row.
