Pigeon Mountain Crossing i nordvästra Georgien är ett bra ställe för dig och din grupp att fly det liv och rörelse i vardagen. Här på våra åttio tunnland av vackra skogar, erbjuder vi bekväma faciliteter och gott om utrymme att utforska. Vi erbjuder en naturlig miljö borta från dina många distraktioner att koncentrera sig på dina relationer, gruppdynamik, och bara koppla av.

Vårt läger, inbäddat vid foten av Pigeon Mountain nära Lafayette, GA, ligger 27 miles söder om Chattanooga och 100 miles nordväst om Atlanta. En 12-tunnland våren matad sjön accenter vår rullande trädbevuxen egendom i anslutning till 20.000 tunnland Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area.

På vår familj ägs och drivs nondenominational kristna lägret, är vårt uppdrag att ge en Kristus centrerad atmosfär roligt, gemenskap, och äventyr. Vår önskan är att Pigeon Mountain Crossing besökare att uppleva stillheten i livet på landet och förhoppningsvis ta lite hem också.

Camp Faciliteter

Lodge:

Vår rustika sjön lodge har tre rymliga våningar. Huvudnivån, en 2800 kvadratfot kapell och mötesrum, är ett naturligt trä område upplyst av ett målat glassfönster och fronted av en stor veranda med utsikt över sjön.

Med utsikt över huvudnivån är 720 kvadratfot spel loft, vilket inkluderar pool, ping pong, air hockey och fotboll.

Matsalen och kök, även 2800 kvadratfot, ligger på sjön nivå och ger extra möte utrymme. (Catering också tillgängliga.)

Lakeside Cabin:

Detta tre våningar stuga består av fyra bunkrooms, en tredje våningen grupprum, och en privat familjerum.

Varje bunkroom sover 15 och har två duschar samt två handfat och toaletter.

Den tredje våningen rum kommer bekvämt sova 10 och har eget badrum. Detta rum har en veranda med en vacker utsikt över bergen.

Vår egendom

Pigeon Mountain Crossing har gott om utrymme för att umgås, spela och ha en bra tid. Sjön innehåller massor av fisk, segling och vattenlekar. Vår fotboll storlek idrottsplats ger gott om utrymme för gruppaktiviteter. Vi erbjuder en lägereld ring laddade med massor av trä för s'mores och berättelser. Det finns miles av vandringsleder, en Octoball domstol, volleyboll, boccia, 9 håls disk golfbana och en creek att utforska.

Lake Getaway

We had a lake retreat with some members of our organization and had a great time. The property is absolutely gorgeous and there’s many activities to chose from and enjoy. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend for large group stays.

This place is absolutely beautiful! It was so clean and the owners were very sweet and super helpful. It was very spacious so there was plenty of room for all of the girls! 10/10. This place is amazing! Highly recommend!

Great Place for Large Groups

Pros: The lodge is perfect for large groups. Plenty of space, tables, chairs and activities. The separate cabin, with multiple bedrooms gave each family privacy and a quite place to retreat to. Lots of fun activities on the lake. Hosts were very accomidating and easy to communicate with. Cons: No cell service and WiFi only available in the lodge. A portion of the road to reach lodge is very rough and rocky. Lake was extremely mucky. The volleyball, athletic field, and fire pit are about 1/3 mile (7-9 min) walk from the lodge.

Perfect for a large family gathering

Perfect for our need

Pigeon Mountain Crossing was perfect for our groups fall retreat. Plenty of space, ample activities, and a beautiful gathering space. The natural beauty of the location also allowed for our students to enjoy God’s creation. Only complaint any student gave us was why do we have to leave so soon!

Amazing, a great family reunion place

We loved our stay at Pigeon Mountain Crossing! The scenery was beautiful. Everything about this listing is 5 stars! We were 5 families plus a decent amount of children, and we had plenty of room! The children absolutely their time on the property, and didn't want to leave! The little ones loved the creek that is close by. Plenty of games to play. The hosts are absolutely wonderful to work with. Quick response and willing to do anything for you. We had problems with the one ac in the bedroom and they had extra on hand and had it running in a short time. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Hoping to go back to visit again someday!

Fantastic...again!

This was our second time renting this facility for our retreat. We love it here! The Tinneys are such great people and they make it so easy to enjoy your time. We also went on two hikes in the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area which is very close to the property. Each person has to purchase a $10 fishing license to hike, but it was worth it. It was one more addition to the already incredible property we were able to enjoy. We hope to make this our annual retreat location!

Fantastic Group Getaway

It was a large and beautiful place to relax and unwind. Me and the roughly 40 other men had a great time relaxing, fishing, and playing together. There is plenty to do and the view was stunning ! Would highly recommend for men's groups or other larger gatherings.

GA Cabin

Great spot for a large group of people. We were able to cook/eat, hang out, and play games all in one spot. And, the beds were in a separate building so when some wanted to go to sleep they could do so quietly. Great hosts with excellent communication.

Great Facility and Great Owners

We brought our adult leadership classes here for a retreat and it was fantastic. The perfect location for our students to spread out for some personal reflection time and then to come back together to hang out and relax. We had a lot of fun with the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Chuck and Melissa were wonderful hosts. They cooked us lunches and dinners and were great to be around. Very sweet and accommodating. We would definitely suggest this property to any group.

5th grade Dad/Son Trip!

Our sons school 5th grade cabin trip was cancelled so we put together our own! We have 15 boys and their dads and this place had EVERYTHING that you would need for an amazing weekend with your boys trip. There was easily enough room for us. The pawn had great fishing the canoes and kayaks and rowboats and paddle boats the water so much fun for the boys. The sports field was big! We have a football game and a wiffle ball baseball game. The kitchen had everything we need, Plus a giant outdoor gas grill and a flat top cooktop they gave us plenty of space to cook for 30 people, and more if you had a bigger group. There are TV’s, WiFi and games in the house (ping pong, pool, fooosball, and more) but honestly there’s so much to do on the property that the boys spent most of their time outside being boys! The fire pit had wood and plenty of room for our crew to be around the he pit! Our boys loved playing in the octoball ring, they call it Gaga ball. The owners were great! We will be back!!!

Great retreat getaway!!

The property is stunning! From the main building where the dining hall/kitchen is on the first floor, a beautiful meeting space on the second floor with a balcony view, and the 3rd floor loft game room. The bunk rooms are laid out very well and are well kept! Chuck and Melissa make things so easy and are fantastic hosts. They give you great information ahead of time and are there (we arrived at 10:30 pm due to a hiccups Teo on our trip over) to help you get settled in! They are so gracious and hospitable!! Quick to help in any way. We blew a breaker while there and Chuxk was quick to come over and fix it. Very accomodating! They are the sweetest folks and truly seem to love what they do. Check out pigeon mountain crossing if you're looking for a place to get away! It does not disappoint!!

Truly an amazing escape!

We traveled with our best friends’ family to Pigeon Mountain Crossing and had an absolutely wonderful time. It’s like being back at summer except having the whole camp to ourselves! The main house and bunk house are clean and cozy. There are lots of fun activities on site (Ga Ga Ball was a favorite for us). And there is great air conditioning, which is critical in the summer! Melissa and Chuck are very responsive, kind hosts. We also went on a number of beautiful hikes in nearby parks.

Wonderful group retreat where you can social distance

We were very lucky to find Pigeon Mountain Crossing for our neighborhood Memorial Day retreat. We were looking for a safe place where we could escape and social distance as a group, and couldn't have asked for a better place. The lake setting next to the mountain is gorgeous, and there was more than enough room for every family in separate rooms. Melissa and Chuck were very gracious and hustled to get the water trampoline on the water the day we arrived, and the kids had an absolute blast playing on it al weekend. We loved the abundance of water craft for our use. There are numerous hikes and adventures super close the area, which we took advantage of, like Rock Town and Cloudland Canyon. We loved having the beautiful Visitor Center to prepare all our meals; it just made everything so easy. We will definitely be back!
