The accomodation suited our needs and everything was excellent.The only downside was the cleanliness of the dishes in the cupboard Cups and plates specifically had traces of old food. I think your cleaner should check the dishwasher before each stay to ensure the dishes being put away are clean.

Love this Place - Repeat Lodgers

fantastic quiet peaceful getaway

Just going back to the bins in the toilets and bathrooms hadn’t been emptied and the outdoor bins were full liked they hadn’t been put out .. kitchen was sticky

Beautiful outdoor open fire overlooking the water

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious home with great bunk rooms and two almost equal size ‘master’ bedrooms both with views. Located in a peaceful pocket on the water, our favourite feature without doubt was the outdoor open fire on the deck overlooking the water and beyond to a reserve full of kangaroos and other wildlife. Being able to hire a boat for the day and pull up to the homes jetty was great fun.

Great place for a large grouo

We were 10 people gathering for a family birthday, and the property was great. The only downside is that there are stairs to both the living and sleeping areas and we had quite a few elderly people, but if everyone is pretty fit it’s a great spot. The staff accommodated a any additional requests and the complimentary bread and jam was a lovely surprise.

Lake House A

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at LakeHouse A and B a few times (B is currently not leased)-It is a great spot and the jetty is perfect for our needs. The BBQ gas ran out over the long weekend (we only used it once)and having a back up tank would be a good idea. The sliding doors onto the deck are almost inoperable. The Yuccas adjacent to the somewhat narrow driveway need cutting back as there isn't a lot of room to unload cars without getting 'spiked'. The safety gate down to the boat deck is dodgy and needs fixing from a child safety perspective. The open fire has cracked and missing fire tiles and there is a rusty hole at the back resulting in danger of a flue fire. The drier in the laundry isn't vented so it gets mighty steamy.The kitchen needs a deep clean-pendant lights are greasy and 'fluffy'. Nice house with great water access- just has a few maintenance issues

Gippsland Lakehouse A - cleanliness let it down

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was very spacious and modern however our stay did not start out on the right foot when we arrived 5mins before the 4pm check in to still find the cleaners there. This did not bother us until we found the upstairs bathrooms had not been cleaned as the floors still had stray hairs and dirt marks on the tiles. They did replenish the toiletries however.Overall maintenance of the property requires some maintenance as there were cob webs around the house and the fly screen to the balcony has seen better days. This was a deal breaker as once dusk settles the mosquitoes come out and there were plenty and the fly screen was not effective in keeping them out! The rug in the lounge requires a vacuum underneath once in a while!

Nice but not for the price

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was lovely having the place right on the water and the deck area was lovely and spacious with the fire place great for the evenings. The main bedrooms were light and bright and beds very comfy. The place itself is very tired compared to the photos online. It needs a deep clean as it was quite dirty during our stay, with sticky floors, stained couches and cobwebs everywhere. Because of this we didn’t feel it was worth the nightly price. What is not clear on the listing is that the property is a duplex and has a shared wall which is no issue internally however externally the decks of both properties are so close with only half a dividing wall which means you can see each other on your deck and hear everything your neighbour is saying. There is little privacy.
