Hummeren handlar om att göra minnen. En renoverad 70-talets a-ram som direkt transporterar dig tillbaka till långa enkla stranddagar. En fantastisk plats i en lugn gata bara några minuters promenad till Normy Beach och huvudgatan butiker, kaféer och pub. Lämna bilen hemma och utforska den vackra kuststaden till fots.

Hummer är det perfekta tillflyktsortet för par, vänner eller familjer som sover upp till 8 gäster och kan avnjutas när som helst på året.

UTOMHUS
Hummeren sitter på ett helt inhägnad 1400 kvadratmeter stort block med en stor gräsmatta och däck där barnen och familjen kan spela, gott om plats för parkering av en båt eller släpvagn också. Fastigheten är prickad med en mängd olika fruktträd och vi uppmuntrar dig att njuta av produktionen om du har turen att de ska fruiting under din vistelse.

KONFIGURATION
Hummer är en dubbel tegel, två våningar hem med 3 sovrum, 1 badrum och 2 toaletter. Det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet har en öppen planlösning vardagsrum, matsal och kök område fångar utsikt över trädgården. Tvätten och huvudbadet leder från köket. En av drottning sovrummen är också ner trappor. På övervåningen leder till en extra toalett och två stora sovrum på vardera sidan av landningen, en med 2 våningssängar (4 enkelsängar) och den andra med en queen size-säng. Drottning sovrummet har en stor privat balkong med solstolar och en 180 graders utsikt över trädgården, paddocken, sanddynerna och havet glimtar.

Just fantastic!

This was the first time we'd hired a house and The Lobster Cottage was amazing! We loved the house and all the facilities and the fully fenced garden was brilliant for our dog (who was having his first holiday!). The welcome bottle of sparkles was a lovely touch. From reading the visitors book a lot of people are repeat guests and I'm sure we'll be heading back there again. It was great to have queen rooms upstairs and downstairs if anyone had mobility issues. Just magical!

Perfect spot for golfing holiday

I can't say enough about this host and the property. The property itself was even better than the photos and we enjoyed everything about it. Our two dogs loved the secure yard and runs on the dog friendly beach close by, (check times of the year). Golf courses were also fantastic! Thanks for a brilliant experience and see you again!

Perfect spot!

We had the most loveliest stay at The Lobster house. Everything about the place was exactly what we wanted. The house was gorgeous, all the things you could want for a holiday away with the family. The backyard is beyond stunning and the location was perfect. My young kids had the best time playing in the backyard and cannot wait to go back to the "lobster house" Thanks Bronnie and family for the stay!

Beautiful home away from home!

We couldn't have found a more lovely, well maintained property to stay at! Bronnie communicated all of the details and was a pleasure to talk to. The bedrooms & living area are relaxing, lovely soft couches and beds. Loved playing the fun board games provided and outdoor quoits on the soft grass. There's even an outdoor bath/shower with hot water after coming back from a day on the beach! Make sure you spend some time sitting on the large back deck while parrots, willywag tales and family birds move about the gardens. Can't wait to stay again!

Perfect for young family

It was just perfect size for our small family. Clean and cozy, beautiful garden and our 3yo enjoyed the cubby house and sand pit so much. So close to the Normanville town center and beach, yet so quiet in the night. Beautiful night sky. Pip was so easy to communicate too. After staying in holiday homes for 23years this is the ONLY place we have ever revisited. Its dog friendly, has a beautiful garden, linen supplied, lovely location. it’s a cosy, clean and charming home and the communication with the host is the best I’ve ever encountered.

5 Stars for the lobster house

5 stars for the lobster house! My partner doggo and I were looking for a little weekend getaway and the lobster house was perfect! Nice and bright and warm. This winter has been freezing and we were toasty the whole time. Overlooking a lush green garden, the fields and sand hills and super close to the Main Street, we didn’t want to leave. Lobster house is the perfect amount of 70’s kitsch versus modern comforts. We will be back. Thanks so much for having us pip!

Loved it!

When we go away we want to take as little as possible so to have linen was a huge bonus! We made the decision to go away the night before and the communication was fast and helpful. Beautiful garden areas for kids and dog. Comfy beds and pillows. We were only in the house 10mins before working out when we could come back again! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Making memories

Our third stay at The Lobster was full of surprise and delight. Our daughter loved playing cafe in the new cubby house and spent hours in the sandpit building castles. We saw crabs in the ocean and relaxed in the garden tub as always! Thanks Pip and Graham for continuing to create a special sanctuary for families to enjoy!

We are so excited to have found The Lobster in Normanville - one of our most favourite towns and beaches - and look forward to creating some wonderful new memories here and hope you will too.

South Australia has many beautiful places to discover but Normanville, to us, is the perfect size. Not too busty but with everything you need. A superb beach with crystal clear water and the softest sand. Astounding coastal views to the magical hills beyond. Wineries close by and not too far from the city. Perfect.

A classic 1970's a-frame beach house, the Lobster has been lovingly renovated to create beautiful, serene spaces that are homely and yet also sophisticated. Located just a 5 minute stroll to the town centre and a 12 minute walk to the beach you can leave the car in the driveway and unwind. From the beautiful lawn and fruit trees, to the outdoor shower and bath (with hot and cold water), secure yard, the kids' cubby house, and with multiple spaces to relax, The Lobster is special in a myriad of ways.
