Baywatch at Wategos is nestled underneath the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse, Australia's most easterly point. This original beach house is a classic, mid-century designed home located on the 'front row' of exclusive Wategos Beach.
Enjoy the breathtaking, uninterrupted views of beautiful Wategos Beach and out to Julian Rocks. Spot dolphins surfing, whales breaching, and manta rays gliding from the comfort of the living area and let the waves roll in while soaking up the sunshine from your private front lawn. The property is north-facing and provides sunbathed lawns and living areas all day long, combined with spectacular sunset views over the Mount Warning hinterland in the evening.
Some of Byron Bay's key attractions can also be accessed directly from your doorstep. The start of the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse track is only 100m from the back door or take a coastal walk over to the famous surfing spot 'The Pass'. From here it is a pleasant walk along the beach to the bustling heart of Byron Bay.
The accommodation includes a total of four generous-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate children's retreat/study with sofa bed. The main house has two bedrooms, one-bathroom, large spacious sun-drenched living, dining, sunroom area and kitchen.
A weatherproof courtyard links the main house and apartment, also providing an alfresco dining space, outdoor shower, and BBQ facilities. The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a small lounge in the main bedroom providing an independent living space.
