Beautiful home, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed over Easter weekend and had a lovely time! The location was perfect, as it was kind of a rainy weekend... so we could be out at the shops/lawn and easily head home when the rain started. The only down side was we had issues with hot water. There were 7 of us staying in the home and when 2 people showered at the same time, one didn’t get hot water (usually the person upstairs). They did attempt to come out and fix, but said they couldn’t find anything wrong. That was a little disappointing, as cold showers are never fun! Overall we had a wonderful stay and the home was just as pictured.

Beautiful home for family vacation

My extended family and I went for a getaway. This is such a beautiful home and is laid out perfectly. I will say, it’s a nice, bright, airy house. Most of the curtains are more on the sheer side. Just something to make note of if you’re traveling with little kids who need dark rooms to sleep. We had one question throughout our stay and the property managers got back to us really quick. In regards to Carlton Landing, I wish we would have come at the end of the week into the weekend. It’s definitely a weekend town so a lot of the shops/restaurants weren’t open during our stay. We had a great time taking the kids to the pools, though!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time at the rental property. The location in Carlton landing is great - a very close walk to the pool, beach, boat dock, and pizza place. The house had almost everything we needed to cook meals for our 6 adults and 3 young children. The house was in very nice condition, furniture was great, beds were comfortable. Recommendation for improvement - many of the windows had either thin or no drapes which meant a lot of light coming into bedrooms. The lack of a grill was inconvenient- the community grill was just a short walk but did not heat very fast and there was a line to use. Otherwise we thought the house was excellent.

Lovely and picturesque

Casa Blanca is perfect place to spend some time. It’s in one of the most gorgeous towns I’ve ever seen (right up there with Savannah) that really lends itself well to a relaxing vacation. The locals were welcoming and helpful. If I could make a suggestion for improvement, I would request an explanation of the streaming TV apps. There were many available (Netflix, HBO Max, etc.), but it was unclear if we should use them or if it would be better to sign into our own. We had a great time (my two sisters, their children, and me) and would definitely stay again.

Making Family Summer Memories!

You can’t help but be in a good mood w/ all the sunlight the house lets in. The floor plan is perfectly laid out & we are obsessed w/ the decor. We’ve stayed in many of the homes, but this one is our fave location - great view of the lake & plenty of green space to enjoy.

House was awesome. Plenty if clean comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated and kitchen wel stocked. Nothing we didn’t have. Was nervous we’d have enough trash sack. We usually bring extra but I forgot this time. All was good though.

Who Knew?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a wonderful time at Carlton Landing and could see the similiarties to Seaside. We are from the Houston area but our kids are in Fort Worth. It was about three and a half hours from there. We had a wonderful first experience and will be back. I would so recommend this to others who want to "get away" from their fast pace lifestyles! It was a breath of fresh air in a darling community! Casa Blanca had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated! We had a golf cart delivered to the house and used it to get around. We will most definitely be coming back!
