Where do I start. This place was so underwhelming and disappointing. The photos online made it look clean and comfortable but it was anything but.
Firstly the apartment smelt musty and moudly. The ceiling in the outdoor area had severe water damage and was falling in. The smell was awful so we spent the entire week with all the back doors shut. We didn’t use this area as we were worried the ceiling would fall in. The bathroom was disgusting. Grime and mould on the walls and ceilings. The shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly for months and the sinks had thick grime in them. The bath towels had frayed edges. The bedsheets felt like sandpaper. The cushions on the bed were dirty and stained. All the taps in the place were so high pressured that even if you turned them on gently the water would spray everywhere and all down the front of you. It was so frustrating. The backdoors were so old and creaky that they were impossible to open. The couch smelt like wet dog, not to mention extremely uncomfortable. To top it all off, we had German cockroaches and ants everywhere. And minimal cleaning supplies ~ not even papertowel to wipe down a bench. We were supplied with x2 toilet rolls for a family of 4x for 7 days. Ridiculous.
It’s clear that this place needs a seriously thorough clean and many things need repairing and replacing.
We will never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
