Andra sovrummet har queen size lakan dörr säng med full garderob. Tredje sovrummet har två våningssängar och full garderob. Andra badet ligger bekvämt mellan andra och tredje sovrummet. Köket har kylskåp, spis, diskmaskin och alla köksredskap. Crockpot, brödrost, kaffekanna och grytor och pannor låter dig laga mat precis som om du var hemma. Vardagsrummet har plattskärms-tv med kabel och full storlek bäddsoffa. Veranda har bekväma möbler och bord med fyra stolar för att äta utomhus. Parkering är riklig i bilväg och under huset. Lovely stay near the beach

Nicely appointed home near the beach. It had everything we needed, including a Christmas tree. Very clean and spacious. The owners were very helpful in booking and extending our stay. Highly recommend and we'd stay here again.

Perfect Spot

This property is very clean, organized and comfortable. My visit to Virginia was for a funeral service, and this home was the perfect home-base for me and my family. It made us feel at ease during a difficult time. I'll be back for more joyful visits in the future.

Great beach house

Betty's house was a wonderful for location for our family trip to the beach in Norfolk and surrounding areas. The neighborhood was a mix of permanent residents and visitors such as ourselves, and it was pleasantly quiet. The beach was literally minutes from the house - an easy walk, to be sure. The house is exactly as it appears in the listing - excellent condition overall, furniture and appliances are in great shape, plenty of parking, and a really wonderful porch. Finally, Betty was an extremely responsive host. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Nice and clean

Property is clean and organized and looks just like the photos. It’s about a 2 block walk to the beach which is very nice and clean. There’s not a ton of things like spices (there’s a few) or Splenda/sugar substitute, but basics are available if you plan to cook. We weren’t there to do any cooking anyway! Ordering from local restaurants for delivery was easy and there are plenty. We went out exploring Norfolk and didn’t spend too much time in the immediate area. Overall, a nice place to stay.

All that's missing is you!

The property is exactly like the pictures and video. We just failed to look at the sqaure footage. But the size was still good for us. We all were so impressed with how well stocked this property was! And it wasn't cheap stuff. The beds were comfortable. Even the towels were nice! The kitchen has everything. We made a game out of does it have this or how about that. We would stay here again! As well as any other properties they have!

It was ok ..Betty is super nice

The house is ok a little older than described and the living room furniture could be updated as it was dirty and dingy. The house is in an ok area not what I was expecting but once we spoke to the neighbors it was ok. It's across the street from a Bay so we spent a lot of time there. I loved the added touches that made you feel like you were at grandma's house. For the price and from the pictures, I was thinking it was so much more. The check-out request to gather all the towels and start the laundry and dishwasher and pull all the sheets off the bed was a little odd seeing as though we pay for a cleaning fee. We could not finish them all as we were trying to get out before the storm. Would I stay again sorry to say no, just not my cup of tea. There was also a toy roach on the coffee table when we arrived which was also weird. The main thing is that the house overall was clean and my teens even though they didn't do much had a great time. So I am thankful.

Clean, cozy, convenient location

My family of 6 stayed for a few days for a beach getaway. Although it rained this week, we made the most of it, enjoying a beach day at the end of our stay. Communication with the host was top notch. The house was exactly as described and very clean and comfortable. So glad we stayed here!

Bay Dream Cottage

The house was great! It was well maintained and very clean. The owner was always very quick to respond to my messages. It was a perfect place to vacation during a pandemic. We practically had the beach to ourselves but if we wanted to see other people and swim in the ocean, Virginia Beach is only a 30 minute drive away.

Excellent place for an interesting location

Pros - Most responsive owner I have ever seen> within seconds Welcoming atmosphere including a NB with area info Cleaning supplies/first aid kit/bathing supplies in every bathroom Extra towels provided Beach chairs/umbrellas/toys provided Electrical outlets covered big eating table all one level ring door bell (so at least if something happens to you it is caught on camera by the owner) nice enough neighbors Cons - really there aren't any about the house but if I had to find some I would say it would nice to have : TV's in the master and queen guest room netflix option on main TV A real iron not the small one and a real sized ironing board More accessible plugs near the bed Dresser in main bedroom FYI The location is 35 mins from VA beach boardwalk The little beach across the street is a little sketchy beside lower class hotels and there is only a little bit of sand/shallow water/lots of broken shells

Beautiful property, close proximity to a quaint beach on the Chesapeake. Lovely hosts, well supplied, can’t say enough great things about the property! The neighborhood was a little sketchy in places, but people mostly stuck to themselves.

House by the bay

We loved everything about our stay! The house itself was so cute and had a perfect, open layout for spending time together. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and we spent a lot of our time at the house on the porch. The location was also wonderful, we would definitely go back here again!

Perfect shore town stay!

Betty was the perfect host and the property was absolutely lovely! Open space living concept with three private bedrooms. Cottage was equipped with kitchen, bath and bedroom essentials! A quick trip to the supermarket to stock up on food/drinks and we were set to enjoy our extended weekend getaway! Not sure what to do when there…no worries! The host has a basket with brochures of eatery menu’s and local activities where we found information on the Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG). A 20 minute drive from the cottage, we made plans to meet other family/friends there the next day and NBG did not disappoint! If you love nature and flowers, it’s a must (wear comfy shoes and bring plenty water; it’s a lot of walking but worth the sights). Captain Groovy’s Raw Bar and Grill was delicious and the perfect end to our day! Thank you Betty for sharing your lovely cottage home and adding to our family memories! ~Melissa

Necessary quarintine Getaway

After an eventful and stressful 2020 so far we were in much need of a weekend beach getaway. This was far enough away but still close to home (RVA). Betty was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions prior to booking Willoughby Spit. House was quaint and clean and to our expectations and more. The beach is a little over a block away and it was clam and not crowded. Our only issue wasn't with the home itself, We heard loud arguing/screaming from a neighboring house all into the late Saturday night into Sunday morning hours. But again this wasn't any issue with the Home. If we need a quick getaway again I will keep this home on our list.

Lovely bay breezes

Enjoyed a lovely stay in this beautiful, clean, comfortable vacation home. Owner was welcoming and helpful. My two kids loved the cozy bunk beds and grownups enjoyed the tasteful rooms and easy to use kitchen. The porch was a delightful place to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Thanks for the home away from home!

Very clean, homey, spacious but cozy. Very easy to communicate to the owner.

We really enjoyed our stayed. We enjoyed the decorations for Christmas and that made it homey. Rooms were great. Beds comfortable. Easy access to the property. We will definitely stayed as this property if available when we return to visit family. God bless the owner of this property.

Immaculate!

My family enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage! The decor is neutral and attractive. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need, and we liked the open concept of the space. The Christmas touches were perfect!!
