We loved our stay at the cottage. This cottage is so cute and very convenient to the marina and within walking distance to the newly renovated pool. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. Monica(the host) was very quick to respond and provided all the details, she was also very accommodating and kind. We highly recommend this stay!

The cottage was clean and bright. Many amenities were already there for us. The host was wonderful to work with and even left us a special gift for our stay. We have stayed at this cottage in the past and will continue to in the future.

Fishing getaway

Wonderful stay. We spent much of our time on the water, but had great accommodations. Thanks to Monica for being such a wonderful host.

Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood. Located in a gated community which makes you feel safe. Cabin was immaculate upon arrival. Host was very easy to work with and communicates quickly.

Wonderful Cottage

This cottage is beautifully furnished, clean and very comfortable. We especially loved being so close to the marina. We are excited to rent this property again if it is available in the future. Thank you to our hosts!

This is a wonderful cottage. Close to boat ramp and well maintained. Everything we needed was there and Jim and Monica are excellent hosts.

Everything about the stay was great! The cottage was very nice. It’s in a nice quiet location. It has all the modern conveniences and everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The screened porch was great for morning coffee. Everything was very clean and the communication with the hosts was flawless. I highly recommend the cottage.

Amazing stay!

We always love the Dillingham’s cabin! So peaceful, quiet and relaxing! They communicate quickly and everything we needed was there. I have been going to Bear Paw for 47 years and we have been staying in this cabin for several years. Always a great stay!

Serenity

Great cottage! Very remote and relaxing! I love the decor- new makeover mixed with the vintage pieces from the original cottage. I loved watching the cardinals in the front bushes! Everything was awesome!

We actually do have cable channels and instructions for accessing them are in our guest book at the cottage. If you come back to stay be sure to call us and we will give you more detailed instructions. We are always available by phone for guests who have questions about the electronics or any other issues. Cute, nicely remodeled cabin!

Very nicely remodeled cabin in great location close to Pavillion and tennis courts. Only issue we had was with the WiFi that cut out a few times a day. Other than that it was a super clean, updated and a great place to stay! Definitely will be back again

Bear Paw

This place is adorable! Super clean and comfortable with everything you need (in case you forgot something!) Highly recommend renting a boat from Mountainview Marina (inside the community) and exploring Lake Hiawassee. Plan your grocery trips wisely, as it is a 30 min drive to nearest grocery store. We would definitely rent here again!

Our experience was eventful to say the least.Upon our arrival, we came into a beautiful warm and inviting cottage. The next day we went to grab something to eat and while at the restaurant, my heart stopped. They rushed me to the hospital. while there my heart stopped 3 more times. Each cardiac-episode was between 25 and 27 seconds. They resuscitated me then air lifted me to Chattanooga. I went into surgery and received a leadless pacemaker that will allowed my heart to function properly. Upon leaving the hospital, we had three days left at the cottage. I cannot express how wonderful it felt to recuperate in such a beautiful place. I’m so thankful that we were able to have a place where we had to worry about nothing and just heal. I will never forget the overwhelming feeling of peace walking into the cottage after my hospital stay. the feeling of gratitude, Peace and having a new lease on Life has changed me forever. Your cottage was the perfect place for us, IS the perfect place. We look forward to many more trips in the future hopefully with no one’s heart stopping, and everyone having the times of their lives. 10 out of 10 in every way. We said quite a few prayers in that little cottage. Many prayers of Thanksgiving and we also said some prayers for anyone that would stay there, that they would have the best time ever and they would be blessed immensely. Thanks again, God bless and we’ll see you soon.

family reunion stay

We arrived and the place exactly fit the pictures. Extremely clean and well appointed. Loved the mix of modern and the original home features - especially the older doors and hardware. We were tempted to play the old 8 tracks :-) but didn't. One night we had a glorious thunderstorm, so we sat out on the screened in porch and took it all in - fresh air, rain, ambience. Would love to retire in this community one day; it was lovely. Definitely recommending to others we know! Thanks for sharing your place!
