Lovely apartment, wonderful location

We would definitely recommend staying in this lovely apartment. Views to the water on either side, quick walk to a wonderful beach and amenities. We found everything we needed and had a lovely relaxing time. Would recommend and hope to visit again some day to beautiful Newport Beach

Great Location

The place is just a little more than a block to the beach, and the Newport Beach is beautiful. The unit was in good condition. I wasn't a fan of the heated toilet, but that may just be me. The place was clean, although a little smaller than we expected. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Location is Perfect

Don’t let the condition of the exterior stairs scare you – the interior is very nice, the decks are very spacious. There is a fair supply Of kitchen equipment but you’ll need more if you really like to cook. The Location for families who like the beach is absolutely perfect! The house has a view of the beach but the windows are cloudy. Great restaurants, things to do, playgrounds - all In walking distance. If you like Thai food don’t mess Mint Leaf restaurant. Relatively quiet area, at least in the winter. Management was very responsive and helpful. They let us drop off our luggage before check-in. Enjoy!

Outstanding VRBO Experience

One of the most outstanding experiences we have had booking with VRBO. The unit was outstanding with just a very short walk not only to Newport Beach, but also the to the playground, large grass play area, and so much more. Nice walks to piers on either side so good places to eat all within walking distance. A garage to park your car in which, since parking is at a premium on the penninsula, is just a major bonus on this place. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beach getaway

We enjoyed this condo. It was pretty much exactly what you see online. I felt it was clean and well-equipped. Blinds need to be replaced but other than that things were nice. Enjoyed the ocean view and large windows and breeze. The patio is amazing and one of my favorite parts! Had to call property managers a couple times with questions or concerns and they were very quick to respond and very helpful! I also liked that it was just a two minute walk to the beach and located between both Balboa and Newport pier providing the convenience of walking to restaurants. .

Loved this place!

Really loved this place! The owners thought of so many details to make this a great place to stay. The TV’s were really large and great quality, loved having the beach chairs and boogie boards. So many other great details and conveniences that enhanced this cute beach house. Super helpful when traveling!

Balboa 14th St 2 bedroom Condo

Had a great time in the condo with my wife, daughter, and two young grandchildren. Great location, nicely remodeled condo, with great appliances. Fancy Japanese style bidet toilet was a big hit with the adults. Had some frustration with parking, since the owners think two cars can fit into a 1 1/2 car garage, but was able to find adequate street parking. Also, unit could use a dresser and nightstands in main bedroom. And luggage racks or some tables for suitcase. Lastly, was surprised that such a fancy kitchen was poorly equipped with dishes and silverware, and only had a tiny garbage can. Only a setting for 5 was provided, and silverware was poor quality. Hope these comments help the owner improve the experience for future guests, since these issues can easily be fixed. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Clean, nice, modern and up to date.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. The property owner was very accommodating as my pick-up truck was not able to fit in the space provided so he swapped us with another renter in order for us to be able to park at the property instead of having to street park. He also checked in on us quite often during our stay to see if we needed anything, which was very nice. The space is great and was perfect for my wife and I, where we could cook up meals or grill and enjoy them outside on the deck and soak in the ocean air. We enjoyed our stay very much and we'll definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful beach house

Very nice place to stay close to the beach. We really enjoyed the updated house and convenient parking that is always tough in Newport. Beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards were nice to have. Look forward to staying here again in the future!

Loved the location and the space. Just a few things could've been better

We had a pleasant stay, however, there were a few things that we expected but weren't there. We didn't have sugar and creamer. Along with that, there was sand on the couch and floor prior to us arriving. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic. It's a good size for 6 and loved how we were able to cook/grill.

Great Location - modern beach house !

We just enjoyed 3 wonderful nights here ! Apartment was perfect for our family of six, very modern, inviting, clean and comfortable inside (everything is new and small details thought of as far as beach chairs and umbrella - perfect) and the private outside deck is a huge bonus .... we enjoyed dinner and breakfast here ! Two minute walk to the beach where you can stroll the promenade down to take the ferry over to Balboa - there is so much to do or just enjoy the beach and great boogie boarding waves - we'll definitely be back ! Mike was a pleasure to work with !
