We are so happy we chose to stay in this property! Staying on Balboa Island was amazing and this home was just a walks distance from shops, restaurants, and not to mention great ocean views!!!! It was easy to get to and having the garage space was so convenient. We were comfortable and slept very well there!

Our rental house on balboa is ready to be torn down. All the furniture is ready for goodwill and none of the sheets, spreads,and towels matched. The kitchen ware was so rusted that we insisted that our agent go out and buy us a new fry pan and a sauce pan. There was no welcome book and wi fi and tv very difficult to work. Charming
that’s a joke. Not what we expected when we were returning to Balboa Island after20 years. We had planned get togethers with old friends and ended up eating all or meals in restaurants. We asked for another rental but our agent did not know how to get us a refund or make a change for an acceptable rental. Will never use Verbo again.

This is a perfect location on balboa island. Short walk to restaurants and shops.Very short walk to the waterfront, beautiful walking all around both islands.Easy access to the ferry and a great front porch.For people watching

This home has the ideal location. It is 1 block from the sand and 1 block from the town!

Our stay was wonderful! My grandchildren love to play in the sand and this house is 1 block from the sand. It is also 1 block from the town. It was very convenient to walk to Wilma’s Patio restaurant. They have a children’s menu and the prices are decent. The check in and check out were easy. There is a garage and laundry room. It was great and we will go back again.

The location was awesome. Loved our stay. The place was just right for our family. (parking in garage required creative angling, however it worked out great for us). We'd stay here again.

Beautiful location

This home has an ocean view, garage parking, and is steps from the shops. Perfect location on Balboa Island. Fun for all.

The location and the cottage are both great.

I will definitely stay here again. Two nights was not enough time. I enjoyed my birthday with family from Orange County and San Diego who wereable to celebrate with me. The garage was a big plus as we were there on a busy weekend which to our surprise held an old town parade leaving time for a frozen banana as well.

Family beach memories

We had a wonderful stay on balboa island with our teenage girls. So many memories were made as we travelled to the peninsula and pirates cove! We ate lots of balboa bars and enjoyed walking around the island. All I have to say is location location location! The house was so cute and spacious we were very comfortable.
