Balboa Island House

Had a wonderful weekend on balboa. Kathy is a wonderful host, great communication. The house is clean and comfortable. The little extras were perfect, beach towels, nice throws and games. Location is quiet and near the Ferry. We enjoyed walking the island for exercise. Shopping and restaurants a short walk away. Close to many wonderful beaches and trails. Great getaway!

We really enjoyed the location. Close to the water, ferry to the peninsula and Marine street businesses. Kathy is a very attentive host who responds to text messages quickly.

A little older home but well kept up. Minor problem with microwave not working, however toaster oven made up for it.

Balboa never disappoints

We've been traveling to Balboa / Newport for a few decades and this cute place was a great representative of the area w/ the location, cleanliness, amenities, etc. We had two adult couples and it worked perfectly. Stay here if you get a chance!

Great location

Clean and well located. Very responsive owner. Although no parking is available, it forced us to walk more and stay on the island longer. We got lucky with parking close to the house even during the holidays.

A place to remember!

Grew up in Newport and returned for a memorial service for my mom. She loved to walk around Balboa and this place was the perfect stay for me and my two adult children. The host was communucative and easy to reach.

Family getaway was amazing!

Great location

The house is ideally located on a quiet street, and the beach is only a short walk. The beds are comfortable, and the layout allows for privacy. It is the perfect beach house.

It was a lovely vacation - a beautiful, clean cottage in a perfect location!!! This cottage is my favorite in 20 years - and everything one needs is here!!! I loved it!! Also, the little back patio is cool all day!!

Perfect Summer Getaway

Staying at this property was a perfect getaway for our family. The location is within walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops, and just around the corner from taking the ferry across to the peninsula where the beach, fun zone, and plenty more good times can be found.

Wonderful!

This home was perfect for our 3-generation family of six. The location was fantastic, just minutes to the ferry.The house was cute and clean and well appointed. Communication with Kim was easy, and checkout was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.
