Spend an afternoon on the bayside of the peninsula at the beautiful Marina Park, where you can rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to explore the calm waters of the harbor before eating at the fabulous Lighthouse Cafe with panoramic bay views. Also one block from your rental is the Newport Pier area, where coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and breakfast joints abound! (Not to mention top-notch people-watching).

Other walkable/bikeable destinations include Lido Marina Village, the Fun Zone, the Balboa Pier, and Balboa Island, which are all must-visits! Iconic landmarks like the Dory Fleet Fish Market, Crab Cooker, and Spaghetti Factory are within a stone’s throw of your home as well.

We had a great stay. We stayed in the upstairs unit. There were plenty of beds and bedding. There were more than enough towels for showering and the beach. They have chairs for the beach, which we didn’t end up using, but were in the garage. It was a little loud at night, but we were there during one of the busiest weeks after graduation. It is in a perfect location. You are close to many restaurants and the pier. My only complaint is the pillows weren’t great. We ended up buying some from Target, but overall everything was really good. I would highly recommend the unit.
