Vi hoppas att du kommer att besöka vår familjevänliga fritidshus på Marylands östra stranden av Chesapeake Bay. Hemmet har en privat brygga på den magnifika Wye River, med tillgång till alla de många aktiviteter som det erbjuder, bland annat vattenskidor, crabbing och fiske. Beläget på en fredlig 3/4 av ett tunnland i ett lugnt område med lätt tillgång från Baltimore, Washington och Annapolis, är detta en underbar plats att komma undan.

Vill du ha tips på vad du kan göra? Spela golf på närliggande Queens Harbor, skjuta några idrotts leror på Pintail Point, eller handla på Queenstown Outlets. Om du har tillgång till en båt, ta en tur ner till Wye Island Natural Resource Management område för vandring och simning. Läs en bok i hängmattan, eller smutta på en cocktail på kajen.

Ha en båt? Ta med den och binda upp! Lågvatten vattendjupet är 2. 5 fot dock så större båtar är bättre förankring i djupare viken över floden. Vill du ta en båttur, rör eller vattenskidor? Låt oss veta och vi kan ordna att ta dig ut för lite kul på den mest underbara floden on the Bay.

Wonderful home with a great owner

We were in town for a wedding. Nine adults. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The owner John was very responsive. I had a few questions and he answered them right away to our complete satisfaction. We will be back.

Great spot

Thoroughly enjoyed this house. Beautiful location for inlet. It did look like there were a LOT of jellyfish in the water off the dock but that may not be a regular occurrence. Regardless we didn't let that stop us from sitting on the seats of the dock and relaxing with the beautiful view across the water. Really comfortable and well appointed house. Would love to come back.

Perfect for Family

Gorgeous house for nature lovers! We so enjoyed the screened-in porch and dock for coffee, and the beautiful neighborhood for morning walks. Nearby shopping, kayak adventures, and restaurants made this ideal for hanging with teens/ college kids before everyone dispersed back to school. This house offered so much we could not possibly have taken advantage of all of it! The extra room upstairs would be ideal for kids to hang without grownups. The house had everything you could possibly need plus relaxed vibe. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place!

Great host, beautiful property

We rented the house for commissioning week at USNA. The house exceeded our expectations and was plenty spacious enough. We enjoyed using the back porch and water toys in the evenings.

Friendship Reunion

This property is excellent for family or friend gatherings. It has plenty of bedrooms and beds for many people. The location on the Wry River is great for boating and other water interests and the owners and most helpfull. I would come back here again and recommend it anytime.

Lovely October rental

Two couples spent a four day weekend at this comfortable, family friendly home. Very nice family eastern shore property that has been well lived in and cared for. Campy and Comfy! The living room very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with good pots and pans. Hot showers with good water pressure. Plenty of bedroom space and beds reasonably comfortable. We had great weather but plenty of cards and games for rainy weather. Nice location to explore much of the eastern shore. Great quiet neighborhood. Loved it, recommend it and would definitely rent it again!

Second Visit to this house

Guests were attending a remote control sailboat regatta in Queenstown, MD fifteen minutes from our VRBO home. Kitchen, dining and ample relaxing areas were the outstanding features as well as the waterfront view of the Wye River headwaters. One of our guests caught 13 little perch at 6:30 am fishing off the dock.

Paradise by the river

The pictures do not do the property justice- the river view is tranquil and very beautiful. Even though we were there on a cold rainy weekend, we spent as much time as we could sitting on the dock, playing in the grassy yard, and pushing our kids on the rope swing. The house was spacious, incredibly clean, and well-heated. The beds were super comfortable, and the showers/ water pressure was great. The game room was somewhat oddly situated off of a master bedroom on the second floor (through a small door and a narrow hallway), but otherwise the house was very conveniently set up. About a 20 minute drive from Sandy Point State Park, and 35 minutes from St. Michaels. We hope to return again soon!

Nice getaway

Our pod of 2 families enjoyed the riverside getaway. Just across the Bay bridge so easy access from DC-Baltimore area. Comfortable house with plenty of space to relax for kids and adults. Great tree swing and nice dock outside. One-way driveway so plan on who pulls in first, etc.

Relaxing weekend

A nice getaway. We enjoyed the screened in porch and fishing off the dock. The kids enjoyed the rope swing and the game room too. The house was clean and a nice size for two families.

Wonderful, relaxing, lots of space and things to do!

The house was filled with love, items needed, fun things to do inside and out. We fished ( many little ones, and a few crabs, and an old fishing rod). Lots of wildlife to watch, swing, hammock, and places to go. Very clean, nicely laid out, easy to find things when you needed. Would love to go again!

John Hardie är värd

We are a family of five that live in the Washington DC area. We all love the water. John grew up in Maryland and spent much of his youth boating on the Severn River. Karen's family lived on a bayou in Louisiana, where she learned to sail, ski and fish.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Before the children arrived, Karen and John owned a boat and spent many weekends exploring the rivers of the Chesapeake Bay. We always preferred the quiet waters of the Bay's Eastern shore, and without question the Wye River was always our favorite. Its natural beauty is breathtaking, and the smooth water is ideal for skiing and tubing.

When we decided to look for a vacation property, we both knew it had to be on the Wye. We wanted a home that was not fancy or elaborate, but comfortable and clean. And most importantly, we wanted a home with ample room for our friends and our children's friends. We are delighted with our choice.
