Lovely retreat

This house has a peaceful ambience as soon as open the door. It is in a beautiful setting backing on to the bush, with the beach a stone's throw away.Spotlessly clean and super comfortable.

Wonderful place for couple or family

The location is amazing, the house is wonderful, we could have easily stayed 6 of us and would love to next time. What was surprising and a bit disappointing, based on how expensive it is, cobwebs everywhere and linen had to be organised and paid for separately.

Lovely accommodation and great location

Short walk to the beautiful Hyams Beach - lovely accommodation. Beds were comfortable. Most windows have fly screens - important for open windows on those hot nights. Check in could be enhanced by having a code entry rather than driving 15min to the real estate agent to pick up keys.

Wonderful weekend in Hyams

Had a great and relaxing time in this lovely house. We enjoyed breakfast sitting in the garden listening to the birds. Beds are comfy and the house has everything you need. Very close to beach too.

Perfect for relaxing getaway

Perfect location with walking distance to cafe and beach. Fabulous setting. North facing verandah for morning coffee and papers. Had everything needed for a no stress weekend away.

Cute, cosy and amazing location

The check-in process was smooth and everything was well communicated by the realty team. The cottage is cosy the moment you walk in and is located in such a nice neighbourhood. Would definitely stay here again!

the location was excellent close to the beach

the location was the best part of the stay.the property is not well maintained. previous reviews have mentioned the light in downstairs bedroom not working. it has still not been fixed. the barbecue was also dirty not cleaned. there is only one garbage bag provided for the kitchen none for the bathrooms nor bedroom. it appears the cleaning which we have to pay extra for is not high priority.

Perfect Location

With two bedrooms upstairs with bathroom, another bedroom downstairs with bathroom, nicely stocked kitchen, lounge, and dining, with additional sitting room and lovely outdoor seating and garden, we have no complaints at all. The overall feel of the house is beautiful. Lovely fixtures and decor, and a really wonderful atmosphere, it made our holiday very memorable, we were all sad to say goodbye! At night we had some very curious possums in the garden, and rainbow lorikeets in the front trees, with the sounds of the sea over all. Highly recommended staying here for those looking for a home away from home.

Well needed break!

After being trapped from Covid and all Holiday plans distrupted, this holiday get away was well needed. The Cottage was perfect. It comfortably fit 6ppl. Great ventilation, however no air conditioning (there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms), not sure what it would be like on hot summer days. With a very short stroll to the beach, perfect for the kids (even had a hot water shower outdoors to rinse off). Be prepared for lots of wildlife to visit. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Hyams stay

Lovely older style cottage. Lots of natural light at back looking over gorgeous garden l. 1 minute walk to beach. Drawback - no air con, but there is an outdoor shower to help you stay cool in day. Also no linen is a pain - but the ambience and location made for a truly relaxing 6 days.

Perfect location!

Convenient and comfortable place to stay. Easy walk to beach, bush and cafe. There is a lovely garden and back outdoor area and no steep driveway to negotiate. Great having two separate living areas and wellstocked with books,games and DVDs. The front deck is a perfect place for breakfast but the outdoor furniture here is barely adequate. The cottage sleeps 6 but there is only one bathroom. However there are separate toilets upstairs and down. A small investment in bedside lamps all round would be beneficial or a check to see if all are working before guests arrive. All in all a great place to chill out and enjoy.

Very Good

Fantastic location, 3 houses, then cross the road, through the small car park to the most perfect beach for swimming, snorkelling, walking & just lazying about. The house was set out very well, though a toilet & basin does not constitute a 2nd bathroom. There is a hot & cold shower in the back yard. Outdoor area great for relaxing as was the two seperate lounge areas. The kitchen was well equipped. Dinning area well served with large table & chairs. Beds were comfortable & washing machine very easy to operate.

Paradise in Jervis Bay

Full of CHARACTER!

This cottage is very family friendly and full of character, we absolutely loved our stay at Hyams. Location is of course a 10/10 but all the little things in this house just made our stay perfect. We cannot wait to be back. Thanks again!
