Amazing Weekend Getaway

What a beautiful stay, thank you Anna and Chad for the most relaxing weekend stay in Pottsville. My friends and I couldn’t be happier to have stayed at your place. Quiet, comfortable (the beds are just amazing!), modern with classic touches. Walking distance to beach, cafes and restaurants and a short drive to the best of the north coast! Just what we wanted!

We had a great stay in Pottsville! The property was perfect for us and Anna was super helpful and very quick to respond to us. Location was great, a quick walk to the Main Street and to the beach and lagoon. They provided a high chair and cot for the baby and there were heaps of toys as well. Thanks for everything!

Happy family catch-up

Travelling from Melb, we had our post Covid weekend catch up with our Brissy family at Anna and Chad’s lovely property in Pottsville. The property accommodated the 7 of us easily - including an adventurous home cooked dinner one night! It was within walking distance to the beach, an easy drive to Byron and environs and true to what was shown on their site. Thank you for providing us with a lovely and comfortable meeting place. Wish we knew about Pipit Restaurant to book ahead next time!

Lovely quaint cottage

Nicely presented cottage walking distance to shops, cafes and beach. Bedrooms quite warm and air con only in main living areas. No ceiling fan in master. Unfortunate timing with noisy neighbor and parties. Overall a lovely property. Good communication with owners.

A few fixes would make this great

We had a lovely stay in Pottsville, the layout of house is great for two families with separate living downstairs perfect for kids. For the price however I would expect a dishwasher that wasn’t broken very hard to open drawer as handle broken. When we ate in all weekend this was tedious. We could only get two burners on stove to work. None of the windows would open so couldn’t get a cross breeze. I don’t think it would take much to just do a few upgrades. Anna was delightful so don’t want to put people off. It’s an easy walk to river or beach or town. So just some suggestions. Well equipped kitchen which was appreciated. Thanks

Excellent for our family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna and Chad’s Pottsville getaway. We had never been to Pottsville before and had a great experience at their property. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to the creek, beach and town easily and therefore never needed the car. The property had everything we needed and more. Our boys particularly enjoyed the use of the kayak. Thank you Anna and Chad for your welcoming hospitality.

The house is as pictured and then some... Beautifully styled with extra thought and attention in the little things.. making this property a must... perfectly located to the township, creek & beach. The Holiday House Pottsville and House On Anne were a labour of love (sweat and many tears!!) for a good 2 years where we turned our home into 2 beautiful beach town holiday houses. We absolutely love calling Pottsville home and raising our family in this awesome village.
