Vår enhet med ett sovrum ligger nere på hamnsidan av lodgen
med vacker utsikt över hamnen i Whangaroa. Stugan byggdes 1876
av den första rådgivaren i Whangaroa blev senare whangaroa sjukhuset
(därmed adressen Gamla sjukhusvägen) på senare år som vi blir i dag
Sunseeker Lodge. Whangaroa är en liten by med en liten butik, ett fiske
klubb och en pub, den närmaste staden är Kaeo, som ligger 10 minuters bilresa från lodgen.
Whangaroa är känd som Nya Zeelands fiskehuvudstad med sin omfattande hamn
och historisk historia som många berättelser ska berättas. Så kom och njut av att titta på båtarna
gå förbi komforten på din enhet eller koppla av i spaet med fantastisk utsikt över hamnen
och njut av det perfekta paradiset.

Lovely spacious accommodation

The accommodation was good and extremely well priced. My only disappointment was the view, which was the main reason I booked this accommodation. I imagined sitting in the garden relaxing with the fabulous view but you can only see the view if standing up. The garden hedges and bushes cover the view up.

Beautiful setting

This property looks just like the photos. It's in a wonderful secluded setting including a gorgeous sunset. The property owner is right there and super helpful, but otherwise respects your privacy. There is a great fishing club for a wonderful meal right down the road.

A Perfect Retreat

It was the perfect retreat for us in the middle of our busy trip of Northland. So picturesque and so comfortable to just relax and enjoy the spa. Good for day trip around about. We enjoyed visiting Kaeo and Matauri Bay for a beach day. Just a short walk to an excellent restaurant on the Whangaroa wharf.

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway at Whangaroa Harbour

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the delightful Sunseeker Lodge, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Everything was simply perfect from start to finish. Our hosts, Karen, Evan, and Bella, were absolutely amazing—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.The location is ideal for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat, with stunning views over Whangaroa Harbour that provide a breathtaking backdrop for relaxation. Each morning, sipping coffee on the front lawn while soaking in the views was a highlight of our trip.The accommodation itself was immaculate, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with outstanding hospitality, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return!

New Zealand revisit

Beautiful view of Whangaroa Harbor. Totally quiet at night and great accommodating hosts that live on property. Spa overlooking harbor. Northland NZ has the best weather and is a good base for exploring. Try the seafood chowder at the local fishing club. Evan’s (host) recommendation.

Absolutely Incredible!

Karen and Evan are the most wonderful hosts, and their apartments are really spectacular, even better than they look in the photos! The hot tub has great views and is such a treat, I had it all to myself. They really went above and beyond, helping me with rides, meals, and showing me around, it was the best vrbo experience I've ever had! I can't wait to need to be back in the area, and stay here again. Lovely hosts and lovely place!!

cute little unit

Karan is extremely friendly, and the location is top-notch. My daughter loved spending time in the hot tub, however, we did not have enough time as the weather was not in our favour this time. I want to explore that area more next time and book most of likely same place again.
