The perfect spot for a beach getaway

The hosts were wonderful, the room was perfect for us. Its situated very close to many beaches in the Nelson Bay area.I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Delightful room in a home with very pleasant hosts

Lovely room and location on property. Private entrance. Breakfast could have been a bit more interesting eg fresh fruit salad, there was only “ canned” fruit and that dreadful cereal Cornflakes. Some muesli, bread butter jam and toaster would be enough. But the welcome Christmas cake and choccies were very lovely.

Nice reprieve from busy crowds!

Only a five-eight minute drive away from the heart of Nelson Bay, smaller amenities including a beach access a 10 minute walk. Hosts were always were reachable and approachable, very kind & welcoming. Had a wonderful stay in Nelson Bay.

This is an ideal place to stay for a period of time when visiting the region - the fabulous hosts have prior experience running motels and so know how to maintain the place for people to stay and they truly cater well and take pride in making sure the stay is a good one for the visitor

Small space but in a lovely place.

Can’t fault it. Except the sense of being in someone’s home (whilst they are there). Not that they were at all intrusive. They were extremely obliging. Location was fine in the sense it was approximately equidistant driving to Soldiers Point and Nelson Bay. If you want night life within walking distance, try elsewhere.

Perfect Weekend Away

Our stay with Ken and Fay was above and beyond amazing. From the welcome and tour to everything needed in the room at all times, their hospitality made our trip to Port Stephens worth it. Such a lovely couple and a lovely home perfectly located in Port Stephens and a short drive from Nelson and Shoal Bay. Would highly recommend this accommodation to any and all visitors of the area.

Fay and Ken are accommodating and warm hosts

The room is extremely clean and tidy and suited our needs perfectly. The only negatives for us were the low water pressure and noise coming from the fridge (time to update to a quieter model). This property is good value and not too far out of Nelson Bay.

Everything we needed

Our stay had everything we needed for our two nights . The room and ensuite were very clean and well laid out . Short walk to the lovely shoreline of Corlette .

Fantastic Property

The apartment was lovely and Fay and Ken were great host. easy to talk to and very helpful. The room was compact, just what you need for somewhere to lay your head and come back to after you've done your exploring. It was clean and everything we needed was there. Will surely consider going back there again sometime for a break. Thank you Fay and Ken .

Lovely place that’s close to beaches, shops and restaurants (5 mins or less). Very clean room and comfortable bed. You just have to keep the noise down as rooms attached to the owners house.

Peaceful

The room was lovely everything I needed was there.The location was beautiful so close to be able to get around and see things in the area if you wanted to. For me it was so peaceful just what I need to get back to basic of a normal life again. I will definitely be recommending Faye and Ken to my friends they are lovely to open their home to others can not thank them enough for a very comfortable and peaceful stay.
