Varje tid pÄ dagen tar fram olika djur och fÄglar. Byggt för familjesammantrÀden och roligt. Njut av att simma i sjön och mata havskatt. Njut av lokala historiska platser, mÄnga vingÄrdar och bryggerier alla inom 10 miles. Beautiful location. Loved the pond and outdoor spaces. Had adequate amenities. Some areas need updating and cosmetic changes. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Loved the big dining table. Cabin has lots of character! We enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed at the cabin before, love it for proximity to field training, comfort, and overall atmosphere. it is "rustic" in the very best way and Tami is great to communicate with.

Loved the location on a lake outside town-very quiet and private. Cabin was as described with large rooms and plenty of space. Easy parking and check-in/check-out.

Cabin was clean, but very dark inside. It could really use better lighting. Was difficult to sit around the table at night and play cards. Also a lot of things were just a little “off” like the fridge door handle is missing, burnt light bulbs, blinds don’t work, etc. But our main issue was the A/C — it did not work for a July in Missouri. The owners were very responsive and did what they could, but basically said it was doing all it could. So we had some uncomfortable times in the cabin. Especially the upstairs loft — it was like an oven.

The cabin was beautiful and nice place to unplug from the rest of the world. Only suggestion would be to have a softer bed in the main bedroom and a step stool in the second bedroom for short people to climb into the high bed. Overall, we truly enjoyed all the nature and spending quality time together playing games and good old fashion conversations.

Loved it!

Had a great time, the place was so fun. Had an issue getting in on time because of the cleaners. Considering they were there 40 minutes on top of the 5 hours they are allotted to clean between guests, I do wish the place was more clean. Other than that it was a beautiful location secluded and about an hour out from St. Louis. Would recommend and would stay again!

Cabin by the lake

Loved the location. We needed a weekend away to hangout with friends and relax. We enjoyed our stay. Some items are a little dated. We only cooked Breakfast at the cabin so the kitchen was ok. Loved the lake. Thanks

Rustic Get Away

This property takes you back to a time when life was simpler. Being able to feed the catfish and seeing the wildlife was so relaxing. There is plenty of room to gather, and the place accommodated our 8 adults wonderfully. Rustic and relaxing!

Girls Trip

We enjoyed the cabin for our girls get away. The feeding of the fish was a hit and we got to see baby geese be born! The turtles are awesome too! Overall the place met our needs. Did not expect all the taxidermy animals. We really enjoyed the local area. They had lots of fun events we found. The walking trails were nice! Thank you for opening your place for us to spend our time together.

Wedding weekend

Johnny and Tami Morton purchased this little paradise in 2010 to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Both involved in multiple business ventures, it was a gift to come home in the evening and unwind in this beautiful serene setting. It was like being miles from nowhere yet close to everything. We love the cabin so much we decided to share it with others. We live very close and take much pride in ownership. We hope you love it and care for it the same as we do.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Rebecca Lane is in the middle of nowhere, but actually close to everything. St. Louis is 45 minutes, Washington is 10 minutes, and downtown Marthasville which has practically everything you would need in 3 minutes. Why not this property????

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Only log cabin of its kind in this area. Built from 10" logs. Large and spacious, lake front, woods to wander in, firepit to have open fires for roasting hotdogs, smores and more, berries to pick, fish to feed, deer, fox, raccoons, herons, skunks, turtles, muskrats, hummingbirds and wild birds too numerous to name. A real outdoor paradise for nature lovers.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: THE FIREPLACE CANNOT BE USED.
IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE #2: The cabin has a lot of taxidermy animals. WE DID NOT KILL ANY OF THESE. They were victims of traffic accidents, purchased at auctions, or donated to us by conservationists. We thought this would be a great way for adults and children alike to see wildlife up close without ever feeling the need to harm a live animal. They are also unable to grow new hair so we ask that you do not handle or pet. If taxidermy animals bother you, the cabin is probably not a good fit. Thank you.
IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE #3. The cabin is on 7 wooded acres and there are bugs, bats, snakes, mice and more depending on the time of year. Please expect to encounter some or all of these forms of life. If you keep all food in cabinets or fridge, it will help minimize pesky situations.
