Denna lyxiga hyra i Smithville, Oklahoma, strax norr om Broken Bow Lake, blev tillgänglig i november 2016. Hilltop Getaway ligger på högsta punkten i Legacy Trails Cabins och har "över trädlinjen" panoramautsikt över Kiamichi-bergen i alla riktningar. Legacy Trails Cabins, en 30 hektar stuga gemenskap, ger privat tillgång till Upper Mountain Fork River som matar Broken Bow och är en kort 3. 5 timmars bilresa från DFW-området. Detta 1300 kvm. Ft. Hytt, med täckt verandor och en överdimensionerad tillbaka däck, har 3 sovrum och 2 bad. Den har ett fullt utrustat kök och ett grovkök med tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Det sover bekvämt 8 personer och har queen size-sängar i två rum och två uppsättningar våningssängar i den andra.

Legacy Trails Cabins erbjuder 10 kajaker, kanot, flytvästar och paddlar för din användning utan extra kostnad.

Den här stugan erbjuder en mysig öppen spis och en stor eldstad med 2 stora stolar och 2 adirondack stolar, vilket gör det till en utmärkt plats att steka marshmallows, göra S'mores eller bara slappna av. Dessutom ger vi veden utan kostnad, så en mindre sak att oroa dig för!

One of our best family vacations thus far!Great communication with the property manager. Beautiful property, clean house, & relaxing stay for a family. Lots of fun things to do in Hochatown (a 30-40 min drive from the house). But the secluded area to stay was nice even if we had to drive into town. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect and quite getaway

Family Fun

Wow! That is all I can say about this amazing home. It is secluded on top of the hills. The view was outstanding. Property was well maintained. Young boys were content being outdoors exploring and enjoying nature. The home was clean and neat. I am grateful for the opportunity and cannot wait to be back during the summer.

It was secluded and worked great for the family. The river was our favorite. The kids swam and learned to kayak. It was little further than I realized from beavers bend area but worked out.

Beautiful Property

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Hilltop Getaway cabin. The pictures do not do this cabin justice! Incredible views, lots of wildlife and plenty of places to explore. Great place and highly recommend!

Great cabin and area for bachelor weekend

Had a great stay with all of my close friends. The cabin was cozy and stocked. Lots of movies and games as well as a grill and fire pit. About a 5 minute walk to the river where kayaks are provided.

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay! It was quiet and picturesque. The house was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we would need to prepare meals and enjoy quiet evenings either inside or outside. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed!

A beautiful, secluded getaway....

Hilltop Hideaway was just what we wanted. We loved our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful. Upon arrival, the cabin looked identical to the pictures inside and out. They had music playing and the AC on which is a must in 90 degree heat. Things we liked about the cabin: Fully-stocked cabin (crock pot, blender, mixer, beach towels, games-literally seemed to think of almost everything) New washer/dryer (no one wants to do laundry on vacation but with little kids and lakes, it's necessary). Also provided laundry soap and dryer sheets (we brought our own but they didn't have to provide it) Comfortable beds Beautiful fixtures and decorations Nice quality linens and lots of them Propane grill Outside seating Wood for the fire pit Access to kayaks/canoe Helpful property managers (PM) when needed Wildlife all around Some items that would improve the stay: Ceiling fans on back porch because it got hot and muggy in the late afternoon/evening Shelves in bedroom closets to place clothing (nice for those staying a week or more) A nasty storm knocked out power for 11 hrs (not their fault but...) the power would also flicker or momentarily go out from time to time so it would be nice (and a huge PLUS) to have a wired backup generator. Yes, I know expensive but it would be piece of mind since the area is so remote. If that is not an option, a portable generator that the PM could provide in the event of an outage would be nice. The cabin a small yard but clearing out some of the tall weeds a bit further down the hill would enhance the landscape and also provide more room for kids to play and have yard games out. I read in a review that the river access was difficult. Owner did indeed put in nice stairs with handrail leading down. My only suggestion would be to add stairs going all the way up. Doesn't have to be cement as I'm sure you don't want to take away from the view but maybe put in RR ties dug into the hill to make it a lot easier. The aftermath of storms made it difficult to go up and down with little ones. I will add that the river is a steep 5 min walk down the hill from Hilltop Hideaway so if you are planning to hang out at the river all day, you may want to take your vehicle. The river has little to no bank so not ideal for hanging out but a nice fishing spot. Bonus, they have adorable otters swimming around as well. Overall, we absolutely loved it and want to come back during the fall/winter.

My family of four have lived in the North Dallas area for the better part of 20 years. All of us have grown up in Texas and my wife and I have graduated from Universities in Texas (Texas A&M and University of Texas). And now we run a staffing/search firm in Dallas. We like getting away from it all from time to time and this is one of the main reasons we bought this fantastic cabin.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We liked our first cabin in Legacy Trails Cabins so much and it is renting so well that we decided to build a second cabin! It is called Hilltop Getaway Cabin at Legacy Trails Cabins and became available in early 2017. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin and sleeps 8 comfortably. It is set at the highest point in Legacy Trails on a hilltop overlooking the Kiamichi Mountains in all directions.

We bought our first cabin in Legacy Trails because we were looking for a quick getaway place near water that was within easy reach of Dallas. We had looked and looked but had never found a place that had an attractive lake, a great lot and a beautiful cabin on it. When I saw it, I knew that we had found the one we had been looking for and bought it immediately.

Hilltop Getaway was hand-crafted by the same builder and is immaculately furnished. It sits on a hilltop with almost 3 acres of mostly wooded land and incredible panoramic views. And the 30-acre Legacy Trails neighborhood will be all vacation rental cabins set on 2-3 acres each with views of trees, rolling hills, creeks, wildlife and the Upper Mountain Fork river. Trust me, I am sure you will love Legacy Trails Cabins as much as we did when we discovered it.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

If you want a secluded, peaceful getaway that is still close to the action, look no further. This cabin is set on about 3 acres, so it has a lot of privacy, yet has incredible views above the tree line in all directions. The Mountain Fork River is about a 5-minute walk away. Fishermen will love this location, for sure. During the winter months, enjoy the gas fireplace and the wonderful fire pit area. Legacy Trails Cabins now offers kayaks at no charge for our guest and the Mountain Fork River makes for an incredible kayaking experience. Check out the pictures to get a feel for the river.

The cabin is very high-end and the beautiful workmanship on both the inside and the outside of the cabin are simply amazing. Just check out the pictures of the family room and kitchen.

There are many outside sitting areas. From the 32' covered front porch with swing, the full-length back covered porch (50') or the expansive back deck for those that only want a 'little' nature to the fire pit area for those that truly want to 'feel' the outdoors. Make sure to look up at night and see the stars like you have never seen before.

The first and second bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has two bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with the latest in appliances and conveniences and there is even a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. And on the back deck, we have a 3-burner Weber Genesis gas grill that is connected to our main cabin propane tank.

There is a whole assortment of DVD movies and games to choose from and we do provide access to the SlingTV "Blue" streaming TV service, which includes CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, HLN, Fox, NBC and NFL Network among 41 total channels.

We do provide 50Mbps Wi-Fi internet. As far as cellular phone service, AT&T Wireless and Pine Cellular work well from within the cabin. For Verizon and T-Mobile, we recommend you turn on "Wi-Fi calling".
