Location perfect

The property was in an ideal location close to Waikiki beach and the Alawai Canal, lots of great walking routes.The property manager was very responsive and was easily reached when there were issues.The only cons with this property for us was the street noise and the very narrow Lanai.

I give it 💯 (100) million stars ⭐️ The management person I met upon arrival was handsome and nice. The other guests were friendly. It was clean, quiet, mad convenient to EVERYTHING, and it was well stocked ( pots, pans, coffee maker, rice cooker, cleaning supplies, free washer & dryer, you name it. There’s even a little bodega right there next door to the building. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. It was already fully booked so I had to move on 😔☹️😢 I felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Hopefully, I can book for my family when the come out here to visit us. I will surely miss this cozy little place.

Wonderful Location and Accommodations

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I enjoyed 5 weeks of wonderful accommodations at an excellent location in Waikiki - just a short walk to the beach, and an even shorter walk to the excellent TheBus service of Honolulu! The apartment was clean and well outfitted with all the necessary appliances & dishware. The only drawback was seating to relax - only a most uncomfortable rattan couch with scant cushion & 2x lumpy pillows! Fortunately, a large folding beach chair provided one of us a comfortable seat. 2x folding chairs were used as dining area in lieu of straight-back uncomfortable dining chairs.

Live local in paradise

It was a pleasure to spend a month in this location. While the apartment is slightly dated , it is spacious and very clean. Any issues we had were immediately resolved by the management. I was so impressed with their willingness to cater to any of our needs. You can’t get a better location - 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach, 2 minute walk to the canal and lanai!! Each day I was able to watch the sunrise and set if I walked in either direction. Shops, markets, hotels all easily accessible. Having a little market/ store right below was so convenient for basics. Even the laundry business on the first floor ended up being a boon , as I was able to easily acquire towels and sheets while washing mine. Loved it so much have already booked a month for next year!! Mahalo Ali’i Beach Rental for making our stay so pleasant .

Great place, great location!

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like a long term stay in the city, but I fell in love with this location and simple condo. It was SO easy to walk to the beach and all the nearby spots along Waikiki. The mart downstairs was also clutch. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you!!

Great location, convenient condo, EXCEPT no BBQ or DISHWASHER.

Our stay

Very nice property, no issues with anything except the oven doesn't work well. We did not report this because we only used it once and I don't imagine a lot of people would use the oven. The property is exactly as shown and the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place!!!!

Cute Place

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was not emailed the access code to get into the building until the next day. I did call and left a message with the number listed on VRBO as that is the only information I was given to contact anyone. I also emailed. A house keeper let me in. When I finally got the access code email I did email her back letting her know that I tried to contact them, her response was I should have contacted her directly... again, I did not have that information! I did let them know the air conditioner is extremely loud and I had noticed that there were other past complaints about it - I was told that I will be getting a 150$ credit due to that. The condo itself is perfect! Clean, close to the beach and shopping. Has every thing you need to cook and clean. If there was better communication I would recommend staying, but the lack of communication was a big deal for me.

No Wifi

This rental is exactly what it says, and it looks exactly as it does in the picture. Window ac unit, sucks, and there is no WiFi, they will say maintenance will come, but they will not. Laundry is outside under a roof. It is close to the beach, maybe five minute walk, but spend a little more and get a nicer place. It just felt really motel-like. I gave it a 4, because it is what it says in its advertisement. You get what you pay for, for sure. It’s cheap, location is ok, but no WiFi, they actually lie and say maintenance is coming, which I find gross, that you lie to everyone that stays, but again price was cheap. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if all you care about is cheap, this will fit.

Hawaiian Vacation

Reviewer Comments: For the amount of time we spent in the condo, it worked out great for us. Very convenient and close to Waikiki Beach which is where we spent a lot of our time. The air conditioner is extremely loud though. And we did not go out on the balcony because it was so small and there wasn't much of a view. However, reserving the condo, getting into the condo, checking out of the condo - all of that was so easy and the people from Alii Beach Rentals that I dealt with were so nice and so helpful.
