Koppla av och varva ner på övervåningen, njut av vinet med kylskåp och fylld skafferi. Kok upp en storm på däckets bbq eller det specialdesignade köket. Den öppen spis inomhus är perfekt för mysiga nätter med en fantastisk flaska (eller två ...) Hunter Valley-vin! Eller njut av en natt under stjärnorna och runt lägerelden med vår utomhus eldstad!

Beläget vid Poppa's Olives - en fungerande oliv- och boskap på 200 hektar! Poppa's Place är din perfekta plats att fly från allt! Med en helt unik design med två våningar fångar den de mest fantastiska soluppgångar och solnedgångar över dalen och bergskedjorna. Den stora öppen planlösning är mer än rymlig för 8 gäster. Känn dig som hemma!

Av de fyra stora sovrummen har två promenader i kläder och en har en fullständig ensuite och badet som fångar den mest fantastiska utsikten över dalen när du drar bort dina bekymmer! Två sovrum har privata balkonger med en fantastisk utsikt över dalen. Har du en stor familj? Fråga oss om hur vi tar hand om större grupper (det finns en extra bäddsoffa och två dagarsängar - bara linne för dem). Se barnen leka på utomhusutrustningen när du kopplar av runt utomhuseldstaden (brandbestämmelser tillåter det - kolla med oss). För grottmännen, ta i skottkärra och samla träet själv! Föredrar du varelserna? Njut av den öppna öppen spis med gratis tändning och ved (och eldstäder för nybörjare!). Ta en lugn promenad runt gården .. genom olivlunden, runt dammarna, mata nötkreatur, hästar, kycklingar och alpakkaer (tänk bara på att kor klappar!). Njut av naturen som bäst!

Perfect Little Getaway

My sister's family and my family stayed here for a quick weekend getaway for A Day on the Green. It was a great property and the kids absolutely had a ball. There was plenty of room for our two families. Would definitely love to go back.

We had a fabulous time celebrating my partners 30th birthday weekend. The hosts were so lovely and allowed us to have people visit for a BBQ. The place is perfect for both entertaining and for a relaxing weekend away taking in the breathtaking landscape and relaxed atmosphere. The animals were very entertaining also!

Wonderful weekend

Our group of family and friends enjoyed our time together in this wonderful house. Plenty of room and space to relax. The screened balcony is fantastic and the complimentary treats were lovely. Catherine was very flexible and helpful when needed. We will be back!

Great Property

Fantastic house in a great location. Kids were able to explore the property and interact with lots of animals over our stay. Catherine was fantastic giving the kids jobs which they really enjoyed doing to help out on the farm with the animals. Extremely generously stocked fridge/pantry to make the stay even more comfortable.

Best choice I made

The property was an idyllic place for a bunch of friends getting together to treat a friend having a difficult time. We were booked in for two nights and we didnt even leave the property. Great holiday!

We came with family and friends, 8 of us all had a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable stay with Tony and Catherine. The place was amazing, great views from balcony and rooms, we saw incredible moon rise, sunset, milk-way, misty mountain…. So spacious indoor and kids friendly outdoor play area, with fun to play with chickens, alpacas, cows… will definitely go back next time. Highly recommend

Amazing property

Catherine and Tony have thought of everything you’ll need when you come to stay at Poppa’s Olives. The property was easy to get to. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. It’s super close to Pokolbin for wine tasting etc. it was cosy and Compton and it felt like home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Weekend Laughter

The property was wonderful. The verandah with it's incredible view of the valley and mountains beyond was my favourite seating spot. The kitchen set up was brilliant especially the big stove and oven. Ample space for everyone and the kids had equipment to play on, and enjoyed helping with the farm chores.

Weekend Getaway

Absolutely loved our 3 nights at Poppas Olives, the kids said it was the best holiday ever, didn't want to leave and want to go back every year. The kids were in charge of feeding the animals, we absolutely loved the friendly cows, who would moo at us for food, Barry the horse was very cheeky and the alpacas, they spit. The view was amazing, it was so peaceful, the house was well stocked and spacious enough for 2 families with 5 kids altogether. Away from the Hunter buzz, but not too far to enjoy all the Hunter has to offer.

Great escape!

The property is just as described, and ideal for a friends or family escape for a few days. The kids with us loved feeding the chickens, and there was plenty of room outside for them to explore. We connected supplies for our stay at the nearby town, but the welcome provisions from Catherine (for both adults & the kids) were most welcome. All the facilities (kitchen, laundry, bedrooms, bathrooms) were great, and the supplied linen etc saves you bringing your own. Finally, communication with Catherine was excellent and appreciated.

Beautiful weekend away

Catherine was a lovely host! The home was lovely and so much thought that had gone into making our stay as homely as possible, from wine in the fridge, to bacon and eggs for morning brekkie, to a lovely kids basket with colouring in, glow sticks and torches for night time fun! A lovely, quiet and serene location with lots of wildlife to see. Highly recommended.
