Amazing place that has it all!

Just an amazing place to spend the weekend! We had plans to go out and see the surrounding mountains, do some hiking, and just be outdoors. Instead, we did axe throwing, connect four, ladder ball, had the fire pit going, and then returned to the hot tub to relax and look at the stars. We did nothing except grill up some steaks, sat outside in the backyard, and just relaxed. I couldn't tell you one thing to do in the town of Packwood but I can tell you that we had smores, hot chocolate, and lots of games to choose from here at this place. This host was super easy to communicate with and no issues came up at all. Very responsive and a place that I would come back to every year! Be prepared to just relax and get away from the city. Amazing!

Amazing Cabin Retreat

Second visit. This cabin is equipped with everything you could want or need and then some. Loved having the hot tub and bbq grill on deck. Great backyard for summertime entertainment. Everything in the cabin seemed new or barely used and perfectly organized. They even provide wood for the fire pit and s’mores. Pictures are very accurate. I would buy this place if it ever went up for sale. We will be back

Top Notch Little Cabin

This is a really nice little cabin that is beautifully appointed. Everything about it is really nice and it's one of, if not the best, VRBO's we have stayed in in this price range as far as comfort and quality goes (and we have stayed in a lot of them). I wish we could have used the back yard area because it looks great, and if we were here during a warmer time of year we surely would have. We loved the way the small property was landscaped. You could tell a lot of thought and love went into both the cabin and the front and back yard. If I were to get a little nit picky about anything it would be that this cabin is located in an older, and very large, development/neighborhood with a lot of sub par mobile/manufactured homes/RV's and small cabins on small lots, but this cabin is like a little oasis amongst those so I'm still giving it 5 stars.

So much attention to detail!

We loved our stay. I read reviews that said you don't need to bring anything, but didn't quite believe it so brought our coffee and grinder and butter. We didn't need to! I have never stayed at a place that's been so well-stocked, and so thoughtful about all the little touches, and so well organized. It inspired me to buy a label maker and get my own house in better shape! Only note is that I stupidly didn't download the code and messages before arrival and didn't have service when we got there, so we had to drive back to town. This is not on the owners, but on me, but thought it might be helpful to remind others that if you have Verizon, your vrbo app will not work so screenshot the code ahead of time!

Amazing Hideaway

We spent new years with another couple at cabin. We were gone during the days snow shoeing and skiing, but wished we stayed longer to enjoy the charming cabin.It was so clean, and every amenity was available. Loved the rustic theme of the cabin. Such wonderful woodsy decor. We loved the cabin, it was better than we imagined. Even the games matched the themes of the decor. This place gets 5 plus stars.

Very well stocked cozy cabin

Excellent stay! Very well stocked with all the amenities and more. S’mores kits, hot cocoa, games, blankets, out door games, bath robes and more…… every appliance you can think of. Our family had the best stay at this cute cozy cabin, every and any need you may have Has been thought of.

They've thought of everything

My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to Packwood for Thanksgiving and came upon this adorable cabin. We've rented through VRBO dozens of times and this property is one of the absolute best. The owners have thought of everything and then some. The kitchen was very well stocked, organized and has more appliances than we have at home (waffle maker, ice cream maker, air fryer, etc.), and with all instructions laminated and readily available. We loved the cabin decor and all the attention to detail - tons of yard games, a fire pit, hot-tub, beautiful landscaping and lighting throughout. We really didn't need to leave the house (nor did we want to, honestly). Check in and out was a breeze, the beds were comfortable, and ceiling fans in every room. The hosts made sure we got in OK and even sent us a lead on bingo night in town. We cannot wait to stay there again!

Great Experience in Packwood

We really enjoyed this property in Packwoood during our visit to Mount Ranier. The home has been furnished beautifully. Beautiful landscaping in the front and back yards. Thoughtful additions such as S’mores fixin’s. It’s clear the hosts really went above-and-beyond to make this a first class property - and we really appreciated it.

Two Day, three night stay Mt. Rainier

We've done a bunch of VRBO stays over the years, and this place was truly one of the best experiences we've had. My wife and I have a 10 and 13 year old boy, and the amenities this cabin had available checked all the boxes and then some for our family. The outdoor games, hot tub, XBox, fire pit stocked with kindling and wood, smores fixings (really nice touch!), and just about the most well stocked kitchen we've ever experienced. We did not eat out at all during our stay and bought groceries locally. They were a bit pricey, but we were glad we chose this approach vs going out to eat. Great stay! Highly recommend this place!

This place had it all and then some

Over the years I've stayed at various homeshares, but I've never stayed somewhere that was so thoughtful as this home. Everything you could want and everything you didn't think you wanted but actually did is in this home, from picnic blankets to hammocks to a hot water tap on the sink. I traveled specifically to hike and I must admit, I was debating giving up my plans just to stay in the home and enjoy the amenities a little longer. The host was fabulous too, when a travel change meant an alteration in my reservation, they were kind enough to accept my request. Truly a houseshare experience that will probably ruin all others for me, it was just that good.

Perfect getaway cabin

Well-equipped, quiet, cozy cabin with perfect landscaping and comfortable furniture. Could be considered a gallery of fabulous wood…siding, floor, wall, counter, furniture! Did Mt.Rainier this year, coming back next year for Mt. St. Helens.

Relaxing cabin meeting all your needs.

The cabin has air conditioning which was a wonderful reprieve from the 90 degree weather. The beds were super comfortable. Several items on the property for entertainment (hot tub, corn hole, and more). The communication with the host was great!

Great vacation home!

My husband & daughters (17, 14, & 8) stayed at Carries place as our base camp for visiting Mt. Rainer National park. Carries place was excellent- clean & well stocked. The only thing we needed to bring was food and our clothes! The cabin decor is super cute and my girls LOVED all the outdoor games, the hot tub and the stocked s’mores jar. The beds were comfy. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning & relaxing. From the front porch couch to the hammock in the back yard, we had many cozy options to relax after a long day of hiking. The property is in Packwood, which is a cute town that looks like it was the inspiration for the Netflix show Virgin River. It’s also short drive to the Stevens Canyon Entrance to Mt. Rainer. Thank you Carrie for sharing this home with us. We had a great time!
