Vackra historiska hem har antikviteter och sekelskiftet charm med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Vi är belägna i vackra Burke's Garden och nära till alla sydvästra Virginia: s många attraktioner. Tre sviter finns tillgängliga: privat sovrum med dubbelsäng och dubbla badrum (en med dusch, en med badkar / handdusch); andra nedre våningen svit med queen size-säng och klofotfot i privat badrum; övervåningen med tre sovrum inklusive en drottning, tre tvillingar och en dubbelsäng som alla delar ett komplett badrum med duschkar.

Cykla dalgången, vandra Appalachian-leden, gå igenom böljande betesmarker, besök General Store och ta en vagnstur genom dalen. Med korta resor kan du spela golf på Wolf Creek Golf Course, fiska i bergströmmarna, besöka Abingdon och Barter Theatre, åka Virginia Creeper Bike Trail, besöka Pocahontas Exhibition Mine-attraktionen, Galax Fiddlers konferens, Tazewell och Crab Orchard Museum, Crooked Road Music Trail och de lokala festivalerna.

Vägbeskrivning till Parsonage Guest House:
Från Bluefield, VA (& poäng öst): Ta US Rt. 19-460W till första Tazewell-avfarten (“Avfart 5”, buss. 460). I stoppljus, gå till vänster (öster) på Rt. 61. Gå ~ 7 mil och sväng höger till Rt. 623 / Burkes Garden Road (på JR's Convenience Store). Kör över berget och fortsätt på Burkes Garden Rd. Parsonage Guest House ligger på 7322 Burkes Garden Rd (~ 7. 3 miles från svängen).
~ 45 mil / 45 minuter

Från I77 (punkter N eller S): Ta I-77 till avfarten från Rocky Gap (bara S från Bluefield WV). I slutet av rampen gå västerut efter Rt. 61. Gå ~ 19 mil och sväng vänster till Rt. 623 / Burkes Garden Road (på JR's Convenience Store). Kör över berget och fortsätt på BG Rd. Parsonage Guest House ligger på 7322 Burkes Garden Rd (~ 7. 5 miles från tur).
~ 35 minuter från utgången från I77.

Från Richlands, VA (& poäng väster): Ta US Rt. 19N / 460E till Tazewell. Ta fjärde avfarten (“Avfart 3”) in på Rt. 61E. Gå ~ 7 miles och sväng höger till Rt. 623 / Burkes Garden Road (på JR's Convenience Store). Kör över berget och fortsätt på Burkes Garden Rd. Parsonage Guest House ligger på 7322 Burkes Garden Rd (~ 7. 3 miles från svängen).

En anteckning om navigationsverktyg:
Rt 623 från söder (från VA Rt. 42) är en grusväg som korsar två berg och rekommenderas INTE för första gången besökare. Den enda asfalterade vägen till Burke's Garden är Rt. 623 från norr.

Home away from Home

We truly loved our stay at the Parsonage House, it felt like Home to us. We had everything we needed and then some. We all had so much fun staying up to see fireflies. Looking forward to our next trip back already!

Beautiful location and home

Very nice area with a beautiful home. There is plenty of room for family and friends to stay and a lot of parking. The owners are easy to get ahold of and are always willing to help in anyway.

Step back in time

Amazing Home and Community

We spent two nights/three days here in the beautiful autumn colors and it really was not long enough! Beautiful, spacious and so clean. A wonderful peaceful getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful. We definitely plan to book again.

Family from Pa and Ga met halfway in Burke's Garden for a visit,we loved the house,old fashioned but up to date,beautifully decorated,loved the surrounding valley,family from Ireland said it reminded them of Donegal,just not as green

Wonderful place!

This was our second time staying here and once again, it did not disappoint! Beautiful fall colors, lots of birds, very tastefully decorated rooms and tons of books. TV was very easy to use. The kitchen has everything. The host was helpful and very friendly. Burkes Garden is a magical and peaceful place! We look forward to our next stay.

Girl’s weekend

There were 7 of us ladies that stayed here. We all loved the place and were pleased with the decor and cleanliness. When we needed something, Cindy was right over. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots n pans etc. There was plenty of soaps, towels, toilet paper also. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely love to come back.

Awesome getaway!

This is the second year our merry band of hikers have stayed at the parsonage. Be prepared for an awesome stay. The place is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well maintained. The location is in amazingly beautiful Burkes garden surrounded by mountains and trails! Sunrises, sunsets and the stars at night are awesome! Then you add in the wonderful hosts ( Cindy and Johnsie). Perfect recipe to recharge and relax! Many thanks! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Burkes Garden is an amazing little town

The house was huge!! It is an old house with all the squeaks and creaks that are expected with a house that has age. The property was absolutely perfect for our group of 11 adults (one married couple had to have separate beds but they didn't mind at all). Matties place just up the road had a phenomenal breakfast. The road in was challenging, yet beautiful and perfect for riding our motorcycles to the property. The owners were extremely easy to work with and everything was just as advertised!! The serenity of the property was everything we wanted!!

Sweet Historic House, Great Location

If you are going to Burkes Garden, which is unlikely, your choices of accommodations are slim. The Parsonage is convenient in The Garden, right on the main road. Host Cindy was super responsive. The house is enormous, so if you have a large group, it will probably hold you. But they rent individual rooms, too, and mine was comfortable and charming. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to visit.

We loved it!

Such and old but unique place to stay!! The house has so much character and was spotlessly clean! We actually met the little Amish girl that cleans the house and told her how good of a job she does on cleaning :) The community is great and beautiful as well! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful escape

Wow! Burkes Garden is a magical place, a secret hideaway that few have appeared to discover. And this house! Outside, it is surrounded by magnificent trees and wonderful views. Inside, it is just unbelievable! Like staying in an awesome, high-end antique/craft store. Everywhere you look, someone has carefully arranged things for your viewing pleasure. Lots of interesting rooms and TONS of books. Well equipped kitchen. We loved sitting on the front porch, listening to the MANY birds. Photographers and birders will love this place. Great hosts that were nice to talk to when we encountered them on a walk. Bring you bikes if you are into biking, as the loop road would be awesome to ride each morning. We will be back, next time with bikes!

Vacation in Virginia

We had a wonderful time at this amazing, magical place. The rooms were all very comfortable. My granddaughter was thrilled with the yard and spent every moment she could with the rake piling up leaves to jump in. We were able to find many adventures in nearby communities such as the Creeper Trail in Damascus, the Native American Village replica and the corn maze and pumpkin patch. Our hostess, Cindy, was very gracious. We enjoyed meeting her and discussing the art community in the area.

Friendly and Peaceful

The property was perfect! Cindy was there when I arrived and was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and stocked with everything needed for a guys motorcycle weekend of riding including 2 grills, charcoal and gas. There were 5 guys so the amount of bedrooms was perfect since we each wanted our own (it's a guy thing!). The area is quiet and peaceful and the local Amish community was very friendly. They would always greet us when we crossed paths and we even had a great conversation with the neighbor who sells fresh eggs and raises grass fed cattle. The roads around the area are great for riding and the locals in Tazewell are always ready to talk and share some good riding areas too. Overall this was a wonderful stay. We typically pick a different place to ride every year but BG was so nice that we're considering a separate trip with the wives just for some R & R. I would definitely recommend BG to my friends and family.

A beautiful, unique valley.

The Parsonage is the perfect property for a low key get away. Sit on the porch and do nothing; or rent bikes; or hike the AT. House is fully equipped for all your needs in a rental. Owner is delightful to work with as well. High recommend!

Quiet, relaxing getaway

The house is historic and the property is surrounded by 360 views of the mountains and farmland. There is an art boutique just down the road stocked with unique work by local artists (at obtainable prices) and an Amish run grocery just past that. This was our second time staying in Burkes Garden and we will be back. Bring your bike!

Burke's Garden is my "hometown." When my husband and I moved our family back to Virginia in 2001, we moved into the renovated Parsonage. We made a few changes over the years, but the core of the house remains just as it was built around 1900. In 2014, we moved next door to my parents' home. Now we're very excited to share this beautiful home with guests who, we hope, will enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this one of a kind setting.
