Two nights

We stayed only two nights but would have gladly stayed longer if possible! It was peaceful and cozy, sherry and Doug were friendly and had the AC on for us and cold water in the fridge definitely recommend

Excellent location to liberty university, better than the pictures show. Nice, clean house

This little cabin has a nice open concept layout. It looks better than the pictures. Very clean and quiet location. Hope to stay here again.

Secluded and clean

The cabin was perfect for us. Close to Liberty but definitely off the beaten path. Very clean, comfortable and very accommodating hosts. Super quiet, had everything we needed and more. Would love to stay again. THANKS!

LU trip

The weather wasn’t very good in the area, so that put a damper on a couple things, but that wasn’t a fault of the host. They made accommodations for us and that was appreciated.

Clean and friendly

Our family enjoyed this cabin! It comfortably slept all 6 of us. We appreciated the supply of water in the fridge and the fact that they provided plenty of towels! The property was cute and clean. The hosts were right across the road and were super nice!

Close to Liberty

Second time staying. We love the location - close to Liberty University, yet “out in the woods” with deer passing through. The owners live across the way and are super nice! We will be back!

Peace & Quiet

If you are looking for a place to stay close to Lynchburg, yet far enough from the busy streets, this is the place to stay!! Peace & Quiet describes it best. And we most enjoyed the Fire Pit and Cornhole Boards!!

Beautiful house! Very clean, cozy, lots of little amenities!

We enjoyed our quick stay! The kids loved the candy bowl and running around the beautiful yard! We all got a good night's sleep in comfortable beds after a very long drive! We will definitely be back any time we go to Liberty! A very short drive to campus! Thank you!

The SWEET spot!

There is soo much to say about our stay! EVERYTHING was EXACTLY as described. Doug and Sherry are the PERFECT hosts, QUICK to respond to ANY questions. They went out of their way to help, whether it was with directions, suggestions for day trips including maps, and directions, or where to shop! Everything we needed to cook, etc was supplied. Staying for 6 months flew by, but the bond with the hosts WILL NOT!!!!!!!!! So MUCH so, they became a BIG influence on our making a decision to move to the area from northern New England!!! Can't find better! We'll DEFINATELY RETURN!!!!

Great Cottage close to Liberty U

This cute cottage is tucked away off the road and backs to woods. It’s very clean and in good condition. They have everything you need including little details like a fly swatter, flashlight and even a pair of reader glasses which I always lose! Well stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee pot, microwave; washer and dryer, floor fan, luggage holder, blow dryer and bath towels. Also found some games, cards and puzzles. Has front porch partly covered with table and chairs and a cushioned two seater. Out back has little porch , fire pit and corn hole. Didn’t see any bugs! Beds were comfortable which is always a concern for me. We were visiting our nephew at Liberty Univ. and we were able to bring him to the house to eat and hangout which we couldn’t do in a hotel. I highly recommend this home. The owners were quick to respond.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO, just 10 minutes from Liberty University as we were visiting for CFAW. The home was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and we were welcomed with fresh flowers a thoughtful touch! Mrs. Sherry was quick to respond to any questions, which made our stay even smoother. We would definitely stay here again!

We really appreciated all the home provided for us while away from our own home. We were able to cook meals and feel at home. I loved having the full sized washer and dryer, full kitchen, cozy living room and scenic porch! The owners were kind and friendly!

Doug grew up in Lynchburg and has recently retired. Sherry was born & raised in Massachusetts, been in Virginia since 1962. Sherry is retired and we have 4 children and 8 grand chidren and 1 great grand child. We have been at this location for over 25 years.

It is directly across from us. We purchased it for privacy and to have when relatives visit.
