Ilam, Avonhead och nära universitetet i stora skolzoner med gratis obegränsat wifi - Det här är en mysig, nyligen renoverad, inklusive ny matta och väggbeklädnad, en nivå 3 sovrum hem med stor helt inhägnad gård, enda garage med off street parkering. Fullt isolerad, Gas varmvatten, fullt utrustat kök med diskmaskin, kyl och frys, mikrovågsugn etc matsal och separat vardagsrum. Arbetsbord och tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Värmepump i vardagsrummet. Alla rum har panelvärmare och solen strömmar in i vardagsrummen på morgonen och runt till sovrummen på eftermiddagen - mycket mysigt. Bostadsbredband / wifi tillgängligt. Vardagsrummet öppnar ut mot ett däck och uteplats och vacker stor bakgård, skyddad med träd och ett lusthus. Låsbar utsida för cykelförvaring etc.
10 min promenad till Avonhead Mall, 6 min promenad till Ilam butiker. Buss en 4 min promenad till Maidstone Rd för att komma till stadens rutter
Detta är det perfekta läget för att vara nära skolor, sportanläggningar och staden.

Handy and cosy

We had a very comfortable five-night stay at this great wee house. We loved sitting in the sun on the deck and in the big garden, and made good use of the office area. It was super handy to the airport and local shops and amenities. Excellent shower too! Communication with Carmen was amazing from start to finish. All up, we would happily stay again and recommend it for anyone looking for a comfy base in Christchurch.

Disappointing

This place was ok but wasnt very clean. We doubted if the bedding was fresh...didnt seem so. Soap, dish wash etc containers were all empy. Cupboards contained empty containers.

Week at Avonhead

The property has a well equipped kitchen and tranquil garden at the back, both which made our stay memorable. A suggestion would be some fans for the inside as it can get quite hot and bbq facilities would've been nice as well. Other than that the property is close to all amenities and fully suited our purposes.

Spacious property with everything we needed

Finding a property to fit two adults who are not partners and two teen boys is hard work, and this property was perfect for us. Good size house, large property, easy parking and good array of equipment in the kitchen. We were close to the airport and an easy drive into the city for sight seeing, and recommendations to get to the dairy and fish and chip shop were excellent.

Great stay in Christchurch

We really liked our stay at this house. The wifi was super fast. The house was very clean, and it has a nice backyard. We loved having a good kitchen to cook our own meals. The house is only a short drive from the city center. If we ever come back to Christchurch we would love to stay there again.

Wonderful spot

We are from Canada and I travel to the area for work each year. We often look for a well stocked VRBO to make the stay comfortable. This one did not disappoint. My daughter enjoyed the large yard to play in. The location was convenient to get in and out of Christchurch (minimal rush hour traffic). The house was well stocked and kitchen was nice to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Carmel and Greg were great hosts.

Clean, basic accommodation

This is clean, basic accommodation conveniently located in Christchurch. We enjoyed our stay. We did notice a couple of problems - the dishwasher filter badly needed cleaning (so we cleaned it) and we could only find one teatowel - but these were minor and fixable. Overall, it was a comfortable house at a very reasonable pricepoint.

I stayed at this holiday house for a few weeks and it felt at home as it was very comfortable.

It’s a very clean, tidy and lovely house. I enjoyed my stay there. The location is great as it is a short drive away to get to many places. The owner is very nice, easy to contact and very helpful. I would stay there again!

Lovely home close to the university

This home is very comfortable with everything one might want or need if you are staying for a short or extend period of time. It is in a pretty suburb, an easy stroll to the shops, extremely convenient to the University of Canterbury and the city and airport are also close by. Carmel is a lovely host and we cannot thank you enough for offering a pet friendly home.

Everyone who stays here loves the house and the big backyard with very large Cherry blossom tree. It is in a popular suburb close to the University of Canterbury, the airport and local shops. This is a quiet spot to visit the city and surrounds
For longer stays with the family this home is located within walking distance of very popular primary, intermediate and secondary schools, including in the school zone for Burnside High School on Memorial Avenue. If you need to be close to the University of Canterbury you can walk there in 15 minutes.
