Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place is right on beach! Clean upon arrival, definitely needs a few updates, couch has seen better days, great balcony but also needs updated furniture. We only needed assistance once which was taken care of immediately! A guide on using TV / Roku would have prevented call. The entire island is truly amazing!

Exceeded expectations

Clean spacious and well appointed with all needs considered. SHould add a mention in any write about the use of the parking garage closet for storing bikes, boards, chairs and beach toys. Very convenient and helpful to have available.

Beautiful Beach

Beach was phenomenal. It was convenient to have access to beach chairs, sand toys etc. Each morning we would set up our spot on beach and spend all day there. The condo was clean and had the necessities. I do think some new blankets and bedding would be helpful. Overall - we had a great time and we’re happy with our stay. We also did have an issue with the dryer and RVA was prompt and there within a couple hours to fix.

Great beach condo

Perfect location on the beach. The view from the screened in balcony is unbeatable. We saw dolphins several days. The heated pool was great to have for an alternative for the kids. The unit had lots of games for when we needed a break from the sun which was also great.

Fantastic Location and even a better view

Property, location, view, and pool were fantastic. Several maintenance issues in the unit and check in issue have been reported to the property manager to help make the next guest's stay better, We love the property, but this unit needs some routine maintenance and some TLC. Had a great stay. Thank you.

Spacious place

The heat wasn’t easy to to figure out. The main bedroom bathroom did not have a good shower head. The place was spacious and very clean good view of the beach. Would have liked to have been able to move tge screens on the balcony. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The view!

The location is great and the view is spectacular. The condo has a nice layout to it. It is pretty out dated but for the money we paid it was fair. The bathrooms were what needs the biggest updates. The couch looks comfortable but is the most uncomfortable couch I've probably ever sat on. The linens are old and can stand to be replaced with new. All in all, for the money paid, it was the best deal on the island with that kind of view and we would happily stay there again. RVA did a great job.

Near perfect

I love Sunset Terrace and this unit is beautiful...and the view of the Gulf is PERFECT! The only issues we had was that there were no wash clothes provided, even though we had plenty of bath and hand towels. The shower doors in both bathrooms were also difficult to close/open as they got off track easily. However, that's not enough to keep me from renting this unit again! Thanks for a relaxing vacation!

Check in was horrible, but stay turned out great.

I messaged the host 4 times to make sure everything was going to be ok with our late arrival and was told our welcome packet and keys would be in the late arrival box at the office. We arrived as scheduled looked in the late arrival box and no welcome packet for us. After several calls with no answer we finally got ahold of someone who was able to get the building manager. He called me and said he could meet us at the property with the keys in 15min. I certainly appreciate him meeting us at the property but we had to wait over an hour for him to finally show up. After getting our keys the condo itself could definitely use some update (furniture especially) but the location and view is unbelievable!! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

We loved being right on the Beach...

The Condo at Sunset Terrace needs repair and updating. The bathrooms need redone. The shower was very moldy and cracked. Carpeting was dirty. The Levors on the sliding door were broke so we could not close them... the dishwasher wasn't attached so when you opened the door it would tip. We loved the Ocean view though! We would stay at Sunset Terrace again, but not at that Condo. Gave it only three stars because of the condition of the condo.

Excellent location, needs upgrade

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great on-the-beach location near good restaurants and shopping. However the condo was "worn". Ceiling fans were not functioning as designed and missing globes and bulbs, faded furniture, broken lamps and extension cords everywhere. The two electric, upright vacuums were not functional, one had a broken suspension, the other lacked a drive belt. When we arrived for our months stay, it was well cleaned. Overall, it was enjoyable but the condition was not as advertised.

dissapointing

This unit is uncomfortable. no padded chairs just cheap plastic. the worn kitchen cabinet doors do not close, the furnace did not work the first five days in 45 degree weather,the front screen storm door was filthy, the toilet had to be adjusted three times to stop running, the sliding glass door was very difficult to open, the furniture was worn and needed paint, stains on most bed linens,the shower door was off its track, three cheap wine glasses.. THIS OWNER DOES NOT CARE. still waiting to hear from realty company. , or owner but no one has contcted me.

Unit 208-Sunset Terrace

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Of course the location is premier, however, the furnishings were not acceptable related to bedding and beds. The refrigerator had rust on outside, the master bedroom shower door was missing a rack to pull closed. The toilet in main bath needed to be updated or repaired. The kitchen sink needs to be replaced. There was a missing cover for the light on the kitchen. The beds were broken. The AC was fantastic!!! Also disappointed to learn that we had to go and pickup and deliver keys. It was inconvenient and held up the start of our vacation. Would suggest a keypad with a code.

Reviewer Comments: The extra trips to the RVA Office to pick up and drop off keys was very inconvenient due to the everyday stop & go traffic on Gulf of Mexico Dr. We actually encountered several stop & go traffic events during our stay. The locals tell us it's normal and everyday. The first problem we encountered at the condo was the steps. No elevator. Parking is on the ground level. So, even if you're on the 1st floor be prepared to climb some steps with your luggage and goods. The gray couch in the main room is old and worn with cushions that are flattened out and filled with tears and stains. And, it's unbelievably uncomfortable. It needs to be replaced. None of the other chairs in the complex are very comfortable either. The door wall is very hard to open and the blinds do not open or close. In fact, many of the blinds are broken off and missing. So, the sunset fully engulfs the entire room. The balcony screen on the very left was torn and continued to rip more & more as we had some very windy days during our stay. There's a missing ceiling tile in the kitchen. The blinds in the main bedroom do not work. Some of the blankets in both rooms were worn and pilled with holes in them. The bathrooms are both small but OK. However, the shower heads could use an upgrade. Overall, this place looks and feels older than it should.

Beautiful Sunsets

My family and I love coming to Anna Maria Island every year. My kids love playing in the ocean everyday that we are there. Nothing can beat the beautiful sight. When we arrived on Sunday, we had great difficulty finding were to pick up our keys. We wondered around until we found another realty company that was open and ask them for assistance in location the drop box which was right next to theirs. We know that these units are probably individual own. The one that we stayed in needs a little TLC. The popcorn ceiling was falling, the dishwasher isn't secure and leans forward when it is open and we always smash our finger when trying to close it. There is no clearance under the counter top to the dishwasher which results in our thumbs getting scraped or smashed. We did not have any privacy at night because after getting there on a Sunday, we notice that the vertical blinds were partly missing and inoperable. We called to have them repaired but of course they were not able to repair them but had to order a new set that was not installed while we were there. We were not able to enjoy the balcony lie we wanted to because the tenants below us were smoking and the smell of cigarette smoke turned the beautiful sight into an unbearable experience. On suggestion that we like to make, is there a way to make a "door/window" like opening tat can be open and closed in the screen enclosure so that the renters can open in order to take photos? Taking photos of the beautiful sunset through the screen was not successful. The only way to take a photo was to go down stairs and out to the beach. Some evenings, we would have just love to sit on the balcony and take photos from there. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and the location was ideal except for the minor repairs that were needed, we really enjoyed ourselves but we will be looking for a better place on our next visit.

Good and Bad

Location is great but there were a few “disappointments”: we had no lounge chairs in the locker to use on the beach. We had to go buy some at Walmart. We were only given 2 dishwasher tablets so had to wash dishes by hand after day 4. All the sleeping pillows had stains in them. Uncomfortable furniture in the living room and terrace. The condo was clean and smelled nice. We had great weather.
