Täckt uteplats under hemmet med utsikt över poolen och kanalen ger ett fantastiskt skuggat område för underhållande eller bara slappna av. Uteplatsen är komplett med en propangrill för den bakgården BBQ cookout. Du kan fiska direkt från kajen. Det finns gott om havsliv precis i bakgården.

Lovely Property

Just got back from spending a wonderful month at this Duck Key Rental. The home is very spacious and very well kept! It looks to have had some recent renovations - especially the kitchen - which was very large and roomy. It also has a closed in porch which we used for breakfast in the morning as well as dinners in the evening - it was especially wonderful when the temps were well into the 80's!! There is so much space in the home - we had our entire family over the Easter break and had more than enough room for all!! We had a few issues with the pool - but the owner responding to them VERY quickly!! The location was very quiet and we could use the boat dock for our boat - which was very nice! We had a great time and the owner - Dave - was wonderful to work with!

Amazing Home!

I was able to stay at this beautiful home in June and was so pleased with everything. The house was spotless and the pool and jacuzzi were amazing. I think it was a great getaway home and I would definitely go back! There is a lovely canal right out the back that I was able to view more sea life then if I went offshore snorkeling. There was also an outside shower which was convenient for when you just want to rinse off quick. All the appliances were brand new. I think it was perfect how they had three different bedrooms and then the couch folded out incase of more people, it fit my family very comfortably. While I was there I was able to do many different activities like jet ski, go to Key West, go shopping, and just sight see. It is a beautiful home and Duck Key is a beautiful place to stay. Definitely going back!

Beautiful Duck Key Home

We had a wonderful time at your home! We realize this was the first use since purchasing your house, and therefore would give it a 4 ****. Duck Key is beautiful! The special aqua color of the water there is amazing! The backyard opens onto a canal, open at both ends which brings new sea creatures with each tide. Our family joined us right after Christmas, and had a wonderful time. The four grandchildren were from 12-15 years, and had lots of energy for kayaking, boating, fishing, bicycling, walking, visiting Key West, to playing in the back yard heated pool and helping with meals. Brutus Seafood in Marathon had great stone crab claws, scallops, etc. We visited Robert is Here Roadside Market in Redland each Monday (on our way to Miami) to buy fresh produce and indulged in their famous milk shakes. The house has an excellent layout for up to 10 with 3 bedrooms (all with king beds), 2-1/2 baths, and very large open Kitchen, dining area, and great room with 3 full size sofas (one makes into queen bed),plus a recliner, a real necessity at our age, and the best Florida room overlooking the canal, where we spent many wonderful mornings feeling like we were outside, but with controlled temperature. There was a table for 6-8 in FL room, which the grand teens loved, and the dining table inside can fit 8-10. The house was well appointed with furniture, art work, stainless appliances, outdoor grill, very nice exterior and landscaping and equipped with everything needed to make our stay most enjoyable. It was obvious the owners had done a great deal of work to get the property ready, since we had seen it before the complete refurbishing. The property manager was very helpful, especially with a few glitches with the pool, and extra cleaning needed on arrival (wire closet shelving and drawers, mirrors, glass tables, downstairs refrigerator. These were the reasons for the 4*. We had a great stay and are making plans for next year. V&S Atlanta Ga.

We live full time in New Jersey and try to get to Duck Key as often as possible. We hope to eventually retire to the beautiful Florida Keys.

The owners have vacationed all over Florida and kept coming back to Duck Key. In their opinion there is no better vacation spot. It is like being in the Caribbean with out having to leave the country. Duck key is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The water around Duck Key is crystal clear and full of sea life. It is truly a wildlife sanctuary. They have seen everything from Dolphin, Manatee, and Sea Turtles, the list goes on and on. They knew Duck Key was where they wanted to be and this house had everything they were looking for.

Duck key is in the middle of the keys so it is easy to travel to Key Largo or Key West for a day trip. There is also a lot to do in Marathon (Dolphin Research center, Turtle Hospital, Sombrero Beach) or travel across the seven mile bridge and go to Bahia Honda state park. Bahia Honda has the most beautiful beach in the keys. If you don't want to leave Duck Key there is Hawks Cay resort which offers restaurants, a spa and a full service marina with fishing charters, jet ski rentals, parasailing, snorkel/dive trips , kayak & paddle board rentals and sunset cruises.
