Family friendly, good amount of space for gathering and sleep arrangements, kitchen nicely stocked as well as bedding and towels. Comfortable, pond, swing's, outside toys and seating adequate. We all enjoyed.

Family friendly home with lots of outdoor fun on the pond. Beautiful countryside. Wi-fi available, but don't plan on cell service, which was fine for us.

Owner was very responsive and accommodating. The cabin was great. The outdoors was so serene and scenic. We had a larger group with an extended family vacation and there was plenty room for everyone to sleep as well as room to spread out! We would definitely stay again!

Great spot, wonderful history!

We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was clean and in good order, and we loved watching the fireflies and stars near the pond and drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning.

Great family vacation spot

The kids loved playing on the beach, and kids and adults alike enjoyed spending time wading, swimming, and kayaking in the pond just feet from the back porch. The house is well-maintained and clean; perfect for our extended family getaway.

Location was incredible, fireflies in the evenings were excellent. House provides functionality for a wide range of ages, plus significant charm via its history.

Quiet Place to Relax & Unwind

The property was wonderful for a week long escape from the busy day to day grind. Children, Parents and Grandparents all enjoyed ourselves, especially the lake. Great fishing and the paddleboat was quite fun!

Weekend Getaway

The entire family, including our dogs, had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time on or by the pond, but also enjoyed hiking and exploring. We look forward to visiting again!

Secluded oasis

Very nice location to enjoy peaceful, natural setting. Swimming beach for kids, small kayak available to rent, and nice spots to hike. Cabin was roomy and accommodating. Great service, we appreciate the opportunity to come stay at this secluded cabin!

We truly loved the cabin and the property and had a wonderful time overall. The setting was beautiful, and our family really enjoyed spending time outdoors and swimming in the pond.Unfortunately, we experienced a significant hot water issue throughout our four-night stay. Two of the bathrooms had no hot water, and the mudroom shower that we were directed to use only provided lukewarm water because the faucet handle could not be turned fully toward the hot setting. With six people staying at the cabin, this was a major inconvenience. The issue could not be repaired during our stay.We were also disappointed that the advertised smart TV wasn't able to access the streaming services listed, and the sand beach wasn't in the condition we expected based on the listing photos, although we still enjoyed swimming in the pond.We understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, and we genuinely loved the cabin and property. However, we were disappointed with how the situation was ultimately handled after our stay. We asked whether compensation could be considered given the significant inconvenience, but none was offered. We feel it's important for future guests to have an accurate picture of our experience.

Let me start out by saying that I am sorry that Clear Creek Cabin did not meet your expectations. I'm sorry about the TV. This is the first I have heard about it being too old. There was maybe some confusion on the tv having the ability to stream vs bringing your own log in and password. It is unfortunate that the hot water heater went out on a weekend. When I contacted my plumber he said he can get a replacement on Monday because the company that he deals with was closed. He would have been able to put it in on Tuesday, the day of your departure, but I figured it wouldn't do any good and would be more of an inconvenience for you at that point. It was my understanding, from our conversation, that you were okay with it. You did not want to leave and be compensated at that time. To stay the entire time and tell me it's fine and ask for compensation after you depart is rather disingenuous. This is also the first I've heard about the beach not being usable. I had tilled 2 weeks before your arrival. Prior guests used it. Using the term "unusable" seems a bit of a stretch. Again, I'm sorry my cabin didn't meet your expectations. I strive for a high level of satisfaction.

Great rural cabin for a quiet getaway.

Cabin was clean and beds were confy. The cabin is very remote -about 25 min from nearest store, so bring provisions or plan to drive. We enjoyed the solitude.
