Enheterna vetter mot norr och har ett stort pool- och nöjesområde - utsikten är bäst vid Point Lookout och det är möjligt att titta på migrationen av Humpback Whales (juni till november) från varje enhet. Funktioner: Två sovrum två badrum enheter med däck på två nivåer, Vergola takade däck som kan öppnas eller stängas beroende på vädret, diskmaskin, ugn och mikrovågsugn, färg-TV och DVD, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, takfläktar hela, bbq på däck och undercover parkering. Lazy Days on Straddie

Great position, spectacular views! Not a quick walk to the beach, but one that will keep you fit. Undercover carport right outside the door made for easy unpacking in wet weather. North Stradbroke was a lovely restful getaway, beautiful coastal path, bush walk to Blue Lake was great, especially followed by coffee at The Blue Room Cafe. :-)

Close to Cylinder Beach, and one of the main roads to access beach driving. My favourite part was sitting on the deck and getting lost in the view.

Stunning view

To experience the views is well worth the stay in this unit. A quick drive to Home or Cylinder beach or a twenty minute walk each way….a very hilly walk back! The unit is decorated with colourful artwork which I loved. The pool was a hit overlooking the ocean. The downside to the unit is a lack of screens upstairs which meant bugs and flies and the cleanliness had a lot to be desired…..fans really dusty, cupboards needed a good wipe. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

No issues except for the blinds in the bedroom and one of the ceiling fans which did not have an effect on the stay.

The white blinds were very mouldy, the ceiling fans “ flung” a pile of dirt onto my brother in law pillow So many notes around the place saying “Don’t do this, don’t do that, “ We are grown ups , certainly we would leave the place in a good condition ! But it was a quiet stay, easy to find

Very disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed. The only good thing was the view. Very old and dated. We were very cold. The only heater in the place was broken. Bed was very uncomfortable. The whole place needs a total renovation and upgrade.

Reviewer Comments: View was fantastic, apart from view the whole house needs a look over, new polished floors doesn’t cut it.....need new blinds, fans felt like they would fall off the ceiling when turned on. Bed was like a rock, might aswell slept on the floor. Found a guest book and it seems like continuing complaints on same items with nothing done

Wildlife retreat

Lots of wildlife at your fingertips. Breakfast with the kookaburras, whales can be seen jumping while sitting in the deck, kangaroos roaming out the front. 💕
